A Vietnamese restaurant filled with lots of flavor. Food was incredible, service was good. The Crispy Spring Roll was a highlight; a CRUNCH wrapped tight with just the right mix of veggies, pork, dipped in sweet and sour fish sauce... Perfect. Next, I had the Shrimp Roll; shrimp was fresh, roll was light, and that peanut sauce... like a party in my mouth. It was a balance of sweet, salty, nutty (it was just right). And the Mango Smoothie was sweet, creamy, mango overload. Like sipping a tropical vacation. Lol. Only thing: seating's kinda limited, think they are more about grab-n-go vibes. But regardless, I am coming back for that Crispy Spring Roll and I would like to try their coconut smoothie.

Manage your expectations as this is definitely a take out type of restaurant as there's 4 seats at best . The food was quick, hot, tasty, well packaged and reasonably priced. Opted for the pork chop vermicelli and beef rice bowl. At this point I have tried most of it and what keeps me coming back is definitely chicken or the pork chop and the rice (has a nice coconut smell/taste).

This is a Vietnamese takeout restaurant. The serve high quality food at an affordable price, with quick service, for the busy downtown market. They have a floor-to-ceiling LCD display showing the menu; quite impressive, especially since it is curved! We ordered the following: F2: Savoury House Recipe Pork Sausage Fresh Roll with Peanut Dipping Sauce (2 pcs $8.95). S2: Crispy Spring Roll with Sweet and Sour Fish Sauce (2 pcs $6.95). C1: Juicy Grilled Lemongrass Chicken with Rice Combo ($14.95), and Coconut Smoothie (+$2.00). C3: Juicy Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chop with Vermicelli Combo ($14.95), Avocado Smoothie (+$3.50), and Fried Egg (+$1.00). The customer service was good. The Pork Sausage Roll was good, especially with the peanut sauce; I love peanut sauce! When having Vietnamese food, Spring Rolls are "essential", especially with the required fish sauce. Delicious! The Pork Chop was tenderized and grilled to perfection. I also appreciate the hint of coconut milk in the broken rice; I love coconut milk. It comes with the quintessential pickled vegetables, which were not too sourish; just right. The Pork Chop was also tender and nicely grilled. We also poured fish sauce on it which gave it that extra Vietnamese taste; I always pour fish sauce into Vietnamese noodle dishes. The two smoothies were quite good, creamy, and refreshing. It had good avocado and coconut tastes. Because they have an open kitchen, you can see them assembling your food. Our chicken and pork chop was pre-grilled and kept warm, allowing them to serve dishes quickly. However we managed to see them using real avocados in preparing the avocado smoothie. When I was leaving, I heard this one woman who said she has ordered from this restaurant 3 days in a row! Quite a testimonial! There are no gluten-free options. This is their first location, which opened on 2025-09-15. They only use natural ingredients. Everything is made from scratch and cooked in-house, on the same day. Anything left over at the end of the day is sold via Too Good To Go. Broken rice is a little tougher than traditional white rice, so they add coconut milk to make it softer and add fragrance. There are two high round tables, suitable for standing up to eat. The front windows face west so it could get hot in there with the blazing sun. They do have blinds that can be lowered. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are no customer washrooms. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-211

Just had the BEST Vietnamese lemongrass grilled chicken ever! Juicy, flavorful, perfectly grilled--and I seriously wish I could get a double portion. The green onion oil, coconut milk rice, and fish sauce were perfection. I could eat this every single day. So good! Cost: $15.20 w/HST.

This establishment mostly serves as a take out place. It does have two high bar tables, however the space is not recommended for people wanting to dine with a big group. Food wise, the portions are great! They're not stingy at all, and I hope they are able to keep up with their portions! The flavours were great too! I'd highly recommend this place for anyone seeking fast and delicious Vietnamese styled broke rice.

Great spot for Vietnamese bowls! I decided to try a lemongrass chicken bowl and a fresh shrimp roll. I found the bowl to be well seasoned, chicken was juicy, and overall it was very delicious. The shrimp roll was nice but I did have better in the past, the peanut dipping sauce it came with was amazing though! Service was quick and friendly. One thing to note that it's a takeout-only spot as they only had two dine in tables.

I got the chicken bowl and I miss say it's the juiciest and most tender chicken I've eaten and it was full of flavor which hit the spot. The rice also was tasty and unusual. The veggies were pickled and delicious. There's not much space to sit and eat inside. It's typically meant for takeout. Our food came out quick and the staff is courteous. Overall, a great experience and will be back if we're in the area.

Just got 2 pork skewers here and i was surprised how big they were. They were really flavourful and i was impressed by how filling it was. This place overall is a takeout mainly spot with limited seating. The staff was nice and gave a walk through of the menu. Service was also very quick and i was in and out within 5 minutes.

This is a new take out place on Yonge Street serving Vietnamese food. They serve boxes of food and you can choose different types of meat on salad, rice or noodles. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. They also have a combo which is one extra dollar and you can get a drink. Food was prepared very quickly and it fresh and the inside was clean and organized. I tried the lemongrass chicken on rice which comes with some cucumbers and some pickled vegetables as well. I also tried the shrimp roll which was a bit pricey but it was very fresh and tasted great. The fish sauce they give you is also quite good - it's a bit sweet and not very strong. Overall a great new place and would definitely recommend if you're craving fresh food with generous portions at reasonable prices.

I got the lemongrass grilled chicken. The taste is definitely up there, but the portion can be bigger. Considering how expensive Vietnamese food prices are these days, paying 13.50 (before tax) feels reasonable.

It's very quaint and pretty standard for the area, nothing flashy, just a simple neighbourhood restaurant. We went on a Friday around 11:30 AM and were the only table there, which made for a quiet and relaxed lunch. We ordered the bún bò Huế and the pad thai. Both were fine, but nothing particularly memorable. They did the job, but neither dish really stood out enough to make me crave a return visit specifically for them. That said, this is very much a no-fuss kind of place. Prices were on the more affordable side, around $15 per dish, which is always appreciated in Toronto. The atmosphere is casual, the service was straightforward, and the food came out without much of a wait. Overall, it probably wouldn't become my go-to spot, but as a vegetarian-friendly option in the area, it's a solid and easy choice if you're nearby and looking for something simple.

They specialize in meat platters where you can create DIY fresh rolls. The platters come with lettuce, mints, vermicelli, rice paper and house special sauce. They also have pho, rice, and vermicelli dishes as well. Washrooms are located downstairs which are not accessible. They only accept cash (with a 10% cash discount) or debit. I previously have had Anh Dao for take out before - their pork sausages (nem nuong) are delicious and perfect when you wrap them with vermicelli and fresh herbs. Even when I got take out, the restaurant gives you plenty of fresh ingredients to create your own fresh rolls. I recently went to Anh Dao for lunch to dine in at the restaurant on a Friday around 12:30pm. The place was pretty quiet as it seemed like I was their first customer that day. During my time there, there was another party of 2 that also came in to eat lunch. I opted for the house special soup pho ($19.95). Service was friendly and my food came at a reasonable time after I ordered. The house special pho included slice rare beef, beef brisket, beef balls, and tripe. The soup was slightly sweet with a nuttier flavour. The noodles were unfortunately not the fresh kind but there were ample beef ingredients in the bowl of pho for the price you are paying. I love how in addition to siracha and hoisin sauce, there is also ground up chili sauce as well as a pickled sliced garlic and jalapeno pepper mixture at the table. Moreover, you get bean spouts, a red chili pepper, fresh herbs, and lime that you can add to your pho broth. Overall, a tasty bowl of pho where the quality of the beef was good. Anh Dao is a tasty option for Vietnamese food in the College and Spadina area. Definitely do try their meat platters as they are quite delicious!
