Family run place with the kindest staff! Food is amazing and the presentation is top notch! The restaurant is located in a huge plaza. So parking is definitely not a problem. They offer two versions of Thai ice tea and they are both awesome. For the main course I had bun bo hue and omg... I think it should be my go-to post workout mean cuz of how much protein was into it

An awesome Vietnamese spot. It seems family run and the service is warm, fast, and efficient. The place is space is well designed and clean. The food is also very good with some unique pho options such as smoked brisket (I have had this several times and it is sometimes amazing and sometimes a bit tough), bone marrow (rich, but I am not sure if I personally like bone marrow in pho which is already quite rich), and of course the house pho which has a bit of everything. The pho is consistently very good with tasty broth. The spring rolls are also good and the Vietnamese cold coffee is incredible! Worth a visit(s) for sure.

I came here on a Saturday evening and it was so busy! We waited around 15 min for a table for two. The interior and menu sounded promising and we were excited to try this place out. We started with the crispy netted spring rolls and they were so good! It was so crispy and the filling inside was perfect. It hit the spot. The smoked brisket pho was also decent. The meat was smokey and the broth was nice. The soft shell crab was a little too oily but the salted egg crumbs added a nice touch. It was heavy though, I was only able to eat half of it. The one thing that we were disappointed with was the bun rieu, the soup and noodle was fine, but the meat on the top was full on out of the fridge cold. I might give this place another try if we are in the area given the other items were good but will see...

While driving around the East end, I had an immense craving for pho. I looked up best pho spots in Scarborough and decided to check out Di An, as they were highly rated and had lots of good reviews. When we got to the restaurant, there was a waitlist, as it was pretty full. We were able to get a table in less than 10 minutes though! We were seated comfortably in the left corner by the windows. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. I loved seeing the interior and pretty lights. I also took notice of the uniforms staff were wearing, and how some of the girls were wearing traditional Vietnamese dresses! There were so many things on the menu that I wanted to try. I ended up ordering a bowl of phở dặc biệt, a staple dish that I order every time I go to a pho restaurant. My mom ordered a bowl of bún bò huế. Both dishes were extremely flavourful and filling. I also saw that they were known for their bone marrow pho a dish I will try the next time I'm here! Overall, lovely spot that did not disappoint! They also offer 5% discount if you're paying with cash.

Vietnamese restaurant has spacious interior with abundant seating (mostly for small groups). Complimentary tea, and the overall atmosphere is casual and comfortable. I ordered pho dat biet, and the broth was rich with flavour. Each bowl arrives steaming hot, boasting generous portions including garnish. In addition to pho, the restaurant also offers other dishes including rice, vermicelli, and other specials. Cleanliness, prompt service, and the ease of parking are other strong points, rounding out an enjoyable dining experience.

I have been hunting/craving for Bun Rieu Cua these days. I am addicted to this delicate and dynamic noodle soup bowl. And this place got on my radar with a lot of positive reviews about the luxurious crab broth and crispy-fried whole soft-shell crab accompanies with it! We ordered: P04 Pho Tai Nam (rare rib eye beef, brisket ) A04 Cha Re ( crispy netted rolls with pork, shrimp, eggs and grass noodles) S04 Bun Rieu cua with soft shell crab My order, S04 - beautiful presentation. A large stem of basil leafs, pork ribs with bones, blood cake pieces, Crab cakes, fish cakes, fried tofu, and crispy onion pieces. The crispy whole soft-shell crab came to the table separately. After enjoying a few pieces of crispy crab, I dumped the remaining into the Bun Rieu Cua noodle bowl to add this super extra Umami to it! The soup was good - I felt the Crab/pork flavor but I wanted more balance with Tomato's sourness. Pork used was rib part, came with bones. Nice! But...I encountered a few small, hard and sharp-edged bone fragments, and it interfered chewing. The addition of the whole soft shell crab was really, really great, adding extra flavor and textures to the whole. Many people recommended A04, Cha Re. Loved this. The wrapper had a totally different texture from regular spring rolls. The ingredients inside had also a perfect harmony of crunchy - tender contrast. Highly recommended! My hubby's P04 was also good. Brisket was super tender and plenty. He ordered rare beef on the side, which was great as the soup came very hot enough to enjoy the noodle with shabu-shabu-ed super soft rare beef. Beautiful venue, spacious and service was quick and attentive. :)

This authentic Vietnamese Restaurant with a modern twist has been open for less than a year, and is busy for a reason! The ambiance is beautiful, bright, yet not too dim, and spacious with plenty of seating.  The food is definitely on point, and the servers are friendly and polite!  John, in particular, is outstanding!  He's gracious, a good listener, and genuinely cares about making your visit a memorable one! Let's get to the food because you know it's going to be good when the owner and staff are Vietnamese!  The dishes are aromatic, made with fresh ingredients, and prepared by experienced chefs!  Our go-to favorites are: A01 - Crispy deep-fried spring rolls: these are generously compacted, not greasy, and don't fall apart when you take a bite.  A02 - Summer rolls: plump shrimp, pork, with plenty of veggies!  A06- Di An Golden Wings: these are a must-order!  My partner always eyes the last one, and I give in - and let him eat it - LOL!  They're seriously addictive! P01 - House Special Pho: our go-to order - it's everything you want in a bowl, with clear, aromatic broth that isn't overly spiced from star anise and cloves, and isn't greasy!  They also blanch the bean sprouts, so need to request it. H03 - Smoked Beef Brisket Pho: I ordered this once for a change, and couldn't believe how juicy the beef brisket was! Dripping with juice, super tender with a smoky flavor! V01 - Grilled Pork + Spring Rolls + Vermicelli: when summer hits, I prefer cold noodles!  The pork is grilled to perfection! Notes/Tips: * They also bring utensils in a glass of hot water (it's an Asian thing, so you can be sure of clean utensils)!  * Their complimentary tea is fragrant and unique.  The first time I sipped it, I noticed right away that it had notes of Thai tea.  I asked our server, who was surprised at my taste buds (lol) and confirmed it was Jasmine blended with Thai tea leaves!  I think it would be a great idea if they served this tea cold, as an option, especially during the summertime! * We've been here many times, and we love the rewards card.  We received one on our first visit, and you get a stamp each time, with a free appetizer on the 5th visit! *Plenty of parking in this plaza, but weekends can be hectic.  * They take all forms of payment, including credit cards.

Tried it for the first time on the way back from camping and enjoyed everything. Our server was attentive and the place was super cute. We went for Sunday lunch and were seated quickly. The pho was tasty with a light broth. As a spice lover who loves to douse her pho with sriracha, I was impressed that they offered their own chili paste and pickled garlic and pepper. They sent well with all the dishes I didn't end up touching the sriracha bottle. I also really liked the soft shell crab which had roe and battered with salted egg yolk. The Vietnamese coffee was both strong and sweet and made for a good wake me up. The vermicelli salad had well seasoned meat and balanced with the veggies. Only complaint was the peanut crumble wasn't very fresh. Overall, tasty place with nice people and cute decor.

Crab roll and pork with dry noodles

There seems to be a rise of Viet restaurants offering an expanded menu, but no complaints from me! Di An is spacious and the yellow walls keeps it bright and cheerful. We had the bone marrow pho, crab roll and pork noodles, pancake wraps and pork salad bowl with spring rolls. Everything was delicious and came with plenty of fresh herbs and veggies to combine into every bite. A good test of a Viet place is if you get very thirsty afterwards due to salt in the broths , and surprisingly I wasn't needing glasses of water afterwards! Yeah!

Beautiful high ceilings and decorations. Came in for quick lunch food was quick and delicious. Corner store in a busy plaza lots of free parking. Ordered 2 dishes bone marrow came out hot and the excellent portion size. Vietnamese coffee was also strong. Shrimp Spring rolls quite fresh though not my favorite. Platter with rice paper , lettuce mint perilla Thai basil, spring roll, other roll with seaweed looking wrap and lemon grass wrapped with meat, grill meat and noodles and fish sauce with peanuts and pickled veg. Very fun to eat very good portions ***The till says cash or debit I think cash you get slight discount. Definitely come back to try other items delish!

Pho is good but if you ever want to try something new Di An is the perfect place to! First time trying BÚN RIÊU CUA WI SOFT SHELL CRAB and it was amazing. The soup is so full of crab flavour, noodles are bouncy, filled with other meat plus the soft shell crab on the side is the perfect pairing. The chicken wings also perfectly fried, so crispy and juicy. BÁNH HÓI ĐẶC BIỆT- SPECIAL FINE VERMICELLI PLATTER was also really good, pork, beef wrapped in betel leaf and sugarcane shrimp were all perfectly grilled and so tasty. Just wish they gave rice paper to wrap this as it was hard to just wrap it with they vermicelli as Some places provide it to wrap this usually. Other than that everything was delicious.

What a treat and surprise Di An was. The team of server were ypung and professional and so dilligent! Place was clean and bustling and food and service was GREAT. Seemed like a fresh approach to true comfort food and flavours. With all the food options in this area, this option stands out. Worth a visit!

I previously have had Anh Dao for take out before - their pork sausages (nem nuong) are delicious and perfect when you wrap them with vermicelli and fresh herbs. Even when I got take out, the restaurant gives you plenty of fresh ingredients to create your own fresh rolls. I recently went to Anh Dao for lunch to dine in at the restaurant on a Friday around 12:30pm. The place was pretty quiet as it seemed like I was their first customer that day. During my time there, there was another party of 2 that also came in to eat lunch. I opted for the house special soup pho ($19.95). Service was friendly and my food came at a reasonable time after I ordered. The house special pho included slice rare beef, beef brisket, beef balls, and tripe. The soup was slightly sweet with a nuttier flavour. The noodles were unfortunately not the fresh kind but there were ample beef ingredients in the bowl of pho for the price you are paying. I love how in addition to siracha and hoisin sauce, there is also ground up chili sauce as well as a pickled sliced garlic and jalapeno pepper mixture at the table. Moreover, you get bean spouts, a red chili pepper, fresh herbs, and lime that you can add to your pho broth. Overall, a tasty bowl of pho where the quality of the beef was good. Anh Dao is a tasty option for Vietnamese food in the College and Spadina area. Definitely do try their meat platters as they are quite delicious!
