Visited around 4:30pm on Suday. It was pretty busy and restaurant itself was prettty small. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Ordered off memu special, Viet Beef Carpacio( Bò Tâi Chanh ($18.95) and it was fantastic. Was tangy, sweet, vibrant and crunchy! Also ordered Dungenous crab & pork tapioca noodle soup( Bành canh cua) Loved rich crab broth, pork and nice presentation of huge crab. Their seafodod & porj banh can cua which is off menu special is $20.95. And this weekly special with half dungenous crab was only $5 more. Only thing was crab itself fell short of expectations in freshness. Loved tapioca noodles though. Overall had a great dinner and will return to try beef short rib pho next.

Vietnoms is a friendly neighborhood spot in the Freshco plaza at Bathurst and Steeles. The entrance looks like just a takeout counter, but there is a hallway leading to a sit-down area inside! If you come in expecting a regular pho place, you'll be pleasantly surprised! They have two menus - their regular menu and then an "off-menu" consisting of special and new items. I would recommend trying their off menu! I came here with my six-year-old for a quick dinner on a weekend. We were seated right away, but the dining area was quite packed and loud. We ordered: Grilled sausage - decent appetizer with good flavour. Skin could be crispier though. Beef-rib pho - regular pho with one long beef rib added. Good twist on a classic but one size only. Avocado fresh rolls - these are Vietnamese style spring rolls. I mainly got this for the veggie content but still not a fan of this style of roll. But if you want something refreshing this is a good bet. Vietnamese coffee - comes in a takeout cup. The service was speedy and attentive. Overall, I wouldn't rank this as my go-to pho place or anything, but good place to try if you want some different Vietnamese fare than your standard stuff. 3.5 stars.

Vietnoms is a bit different than your typical Vietnamese restaurant in the GTA. There are more street food like dishes on the menu. Beef carpaccio, Bahn Minh to name a few and they have a lot of different drinks to choose from with Pandan, Taro, Coconut flavors. There are about 6-7 tables so they fill up quick. Ventilation isn't too best so your jackets may soak up something of wok hay from the kitchen. If you are up for some less boring Vietnam dishes, this is the right place to go

We've been meaning to check out their larger location for a while since we really liked their original location when we went 5+ years ago! At first we weren't sure if there was seating, but they lead you to the back where it opens up! Not a huge space but it fit probably 40ish people? Nice and cozy! Love love love that there's an "off menu" beyond the usual Vietnamese fare. We didn't even bother looking at their "regular" stuff as we wanted options that you don't normally see. We had a hard time narrowing down what we wanted but thankfully we agreed upon an app and two mains. We had seen a lot of people ordering the beef carpaccio so that was an easy one.. (even though the baby clams sounded yums!) and the hubs decided on the seafood & pork tapioca noodles while I chose the dry Phnom Penh noodles. Holy smokes... they don't mess around. The portions are HUGE but so delicious!! Just a warning, as delicious and flavourful as the tapioca noodles are it had quite a strong fish flavour to it. My husband did not mind one bit and crushed it but I don't think I could've eaten a lot of it. I looooved my noodles though, the two noodle option was great! There was a lot of "toppings" - pork, seafood, and the soup even came with seafood balls. *chefs kiss* We definitely will be back to try other options... Tony was at the front and we had a nice chat about other spots he's been to eat. Great guy... oh and cash is 5% discount! Check it out!!

We use to live by the Vietnoms to go (the smaller counter part in North York), and never realized they had a full size restaurant further away until we saw on social media. It looked so yummy, and I already knew I loved the specials, so we had to go! Wow.. It did not disappoint at all. I had the stir fry hanoi style pho which was absolutely a show stopper. We also ordered a regular pho and their version of a bun rieu. Everything tastes so good. It's simple ingredients but long hours of slow cooking all poured into one delicious dish. Heavenly! Oh and be sure to wrap up the night with a matcha. They're really sweet because of the condensed milk, but somehow it hits the spot for dessert. I got pandan and now I make pandan matcha at home regularly. It's amazing. I wish I lived closer by cause I would definitely want to go back more often and try out their new specials.

Absolutely enjoyed my time here! Their pho was so delicious and portions were worth the prize!! I got their grilled chicken bahn mi as well which was great and the bread was fresh & soft. Their coconut smoothie was the highlight it was refreshing and just what I needed! Service was good they were attentive and welcoming. Space is limited so it might get busy during peak hours. Lots of parking since its in a plaza.

On our way back from a road trip to St Jacobs, Elora, and Fergus, I decided to drive the back roads rather than the highway. With all the construction and evening rush hour traffic, my GPS said it would take the same amount of time (if no accidents). It turned out to be a nice relaxing drive, with no traffic jams or obstructions along the way. As we got closer to Toronto, we started thinking about dinner. We ended up stopping at Vietnoms, along our route in Thornhill. They have a small and cozy dining room, as well as outdoor seating but it was raining a bit. Our meal consisted of a Mango Salad, Fish Sauce Chicken Wings, Shaking Beef, Bun Bo Hue, and a Pho that I neglected to get the name of. The portions were generous and full of flavour. Every bite, every slurp was delicious. My personal favourites were the wings and the mango salad but they were all good and we took home leftovers. If you're in the area, check them out.

Always pleasant visiting here for authentic Viet food. We visited on Friday around 4pm, and it was quieter than usual (normally this place is quite busy). Service was quick and staff were friendly too :) We ordered Vietnamese Beef Carpaccio and Sizzling Beef, Egg and Meatball (with baguette). Both were delicious and recommended if you're looking for something special other than pho. Cash discount available.

Good overall. We ordered the bun with pork and spring roll, the beef carpaccio and pork chop rice. The food was good and tasty. however I would say the condiments lacked taste- I used the hoisin sauce and hot sauce but it didn't have much flavour or taste.

I've seen all the rave reviews for this place And I really wanted to give it a 5 star or at least a 4 star rating But I have settled on a 3 star rating, only because the 2 male employees (1 looking like the owner) were phenomenal and gave excellent service. However The food I ordered didn't live up to the hype. We ordered 1. The sizzling meat plate with baguette 2. Banh Mi Dip (beef banh mi with a soup dip) 3. Small fried spring rolls Now, maybe I came in with overly high expectations. I've seen some reviews raving about these menu items But I was very disappointed in the dishes. The sizzling meat plate was actually not sizzling and was Luke warm. (Although flavours were not bad). The banh mi sandwich was kinda soggy even without dipping yet. And The fried spring rolls tasted like they were bought and frozen and not handmade. (I could be wrong but if I am, then that's even worse) All in all I won't be back, sorry But If you do go, maybe you will have a better experience with the food 3 stars is the best I can give, given it is a local spot and deserves all the support from Yelpers. Sorry again, just not my cup of tea, (literally)

An innovative Vietnamese restaurant, with the classic menu staples and new interesting fusion options. The front is set up as a takeout space, however, the back has around 10 tables for dining. It gets busy during peak hours, so we had to wait around 20 minutes for a table on a Friday night. We shared the Banh Mi dip and I had the Bun Rieu. The Banh Mi dip was a fun take on two classic items. The dip was very flavourful and worked really well to bring an additional aspect to the sandwich. The pork base broth of the Bun Rieu with tomato, tamarind and shrimp paste was very flavourful in a different way. I liked that it was served dry at the table, and then they pour a large kettle of soup on top of everything. A great place to try new flavours!

Amazing food and great variety. I love this place! I went here for my birthday with my partner and we feasted on a lot of dishes together. We heard some great things about this place (their social media presence online is very strong) and it definitely did not disappoint. We ordered: (1) Dipping bahn mi - this was very tasty and unique. The pho broth that it came with was just the right richness to compliment the simple flavours of the bahn mi (2) Beef carpaccio - excellent! This was a highlight for me. The tartness of the fish sauce and the flavours worked so well with the beef. And it was super fun to eat this on the shrimp cracker chips (3) Fish sauce chicken wings - these were very good but not super standoutish. I would definitely order these again though (4) The northern style pho - this was just mid tbh.. maybe I'm not used to this style of pho. I wish I ordered their house special instead (5) Viet iced coffee - a classic! Very good here I'm a fan of this place and it left a great first impression. I'm definitely looking forward to come back to try their other dishes and their other fun drinks in their café menu. Heads-up! - this place has been super popular lately and there is not that much seating inside. Try your best to come early so you could secure a table or else you'll be waiting in the long waitlist.

TLDR: Vietnamese restaurant with two locations (one is primarily takeout only). Only seats roughly 26 people in the dining room which is likely why they don't take reservations but the time for turning over tables seems relatively short on weeknights. Their menu has a lot to offer including drinks you can customize with different cold foams paired with their drinks. -[VIETNAMESE COFFEE W/PANDAN COLD FOAM] $7 *Love that their coffee isn't too sweet even with the pandan cold foam topping it *Interested to return to try this drink but with their ube cold foam next time -[DEEP FRIED CHICKEN WINGS - 8pcs] $14 *Your choice of sauce: tamarind, fish sauce, Vietnoms spicy - we got taramind which was a sour flavor with a slight hint of sweetness *I'm not the biggest fan of sour as a profile but the one I had was good. I can see how other people would like this flavor as it is light and refreshing -[VIETNAMESE BEEF CARPACCIO] $18 *No idea what the slaw is made out of but it is a 10/10 of a salad if it can be ordered on its own tbh - tasted like julienned purple cabbage/carrots/onions, red chillis, peanuts, marinade that was slightly sweet/sour *The beef was extremely tender and flavorful - went really well with the shrimp chips it was served alongside -[CRAB & PORK TAPIOCA NOODLE SOUP] $20 *The noodles were as thick as udon but had a bouncier texture to them that I loved *The protein included seemed to be imitation crab meat, Vietnamese meatballs, Vietnamese ham, pork bones and maybe more *This is definitely my favorite noodle soup dish because the soup was very comforting and was a decent size too -[SIZZLING BEEF, EGG, AND MEATBALL W/BAGUETTE] $17 *I have been CRAVING this dish for so long now because a different restaurant near me got rid of it from their menu recently so when I saw it here, I knew I HAD to get it *I swear there's also what tasted/looked like pâté on the plate too although it isn't mentioned (super tasty) *The components of this dish all went so well together :D The tomato sauce everything was sizzling in was creamy and the baguette allowed me to scoop everything into my mouth TIP: 5% discount if you pay with cash but they do take credit/debit too! * Boss/staff are super nice and will do everything within their power to have you seated comfortably at a table ASAP but do remember that they have a very small section for seating (counted 26 seats in the dining section)

Tips: - This place takes debit and cash only…read more - The hot tea is scorching hot. A couple of Wednesdays ago, after work, I had an early dinner at this Pho Anh Vu on Highway 7 in Vaughan, between Keele and Jane streets. I have passed by this eatery a number of times since it opened. It was time to check it out. This location used to be Veg Italiano. There used to be a pho place a few doors down. It is now a Turkish eatery. This small plaza does have some turnover. However, the Turkish place and this eatery have been here for at least a couple of years. I hope they remain. I got here at around 3:30 pm. I had no problem finding a parking spot. I backed into a vacant one and walked in. I was immediately greeted by a male staffer. I got to sit wherever I wanted. I chose a booth by the window. I got menus to peruse. There were two other tables with customers. It was nice. Hot tea came to me with two cups. The hot tea was exceptionally piping hot. I used both cups to pour tea into them and let them cool. I was ready to order. It took a long time to get a server to come over. The woman at the counter noticed that I was ready and flagged the male server to take my order. I got these items: - Soda lemonade - Grilled chicken on vermicelli with spring rolls My soda lemonade came first. It was fizzy, cold, and refreshing. I loved it so much. I would get it again in a heartbeat. It also helped me down my food as I waited for my hot tea to cool down. When my tea was finally at a temperature that wouldn't scorch my tongue, it was fragrant and yummy. I loved the grilled chicken. It was flavourful and grilled to perfection. The vermicelli was generous and yummy. The spring rolls were stuffed and crispy. This dish came with dipping sauce that I ended up pouring on everything. I feel that I needed more of it. I paid at the counter with a debit card. I tapped and was good. This eatery got busy after 4 pm. My guess is that everyone came to watch the Canada-Switzerland FIFA game. It got tense in the place. Eventually, Canada lost this game. I used the washroom before I left. It was beautiful and clean. It's a decent location that serves good food. The tea was too hot. Service started off slow, but was a lot better once my order was place. I'd love to return to try more items off the menu. (280)

Service was relatively fast despite it being very busy. Team was friendly and knowledgeable. However, the second time i was there, my bun bo hue toke way longer to arrive, the table was halfway done there meals when my bowl finally arrived. A little bit of communication would have been nice, just got the "it's coming" the two times I asked about where it was, no timeline or anything. Spring rolls were kind of bland, no real flavour - however the crunchiness hits the spot. Bun bo hue when it arrives is truly amazing! The perfect amount of spice - makes you sweat a bit without killing you - you can still taste everything you're eating! I do prefer Toronto's Pho Anh Vu over the Vancouver location, somehow the Bun Bo Hue doesn't hit the same over here.

Ever since I discovered the spicy Curry Brisket Pho ($20.95), it has always been my go-to dish here all year-round. We always order Pho Nam (XL $21.50) as well and both come loaded with a heaping portion of brisket slices in the piping hot noodle soup. From time-to-time, we also add the Banh Xeo savoury egg pancake which arrives on a huge plate even larger than the noodle bowls. Presented with a heap of greens & herbs, the crispy golden crepe is light and filled with bits of shrimp, pork, onions & bean sprouts.
