    Avocado toast
    Batoul Z.

The coffee and service were very good. It's huge on the inside. The avocado toast could have easily been more elevated and I was disappointed in the discrepancy of how much avocado you get. The bread is toasted and buttered which is good. The croissant tastes identical to the Costco one which is not a bad thing

As a longtime bread winners customer, I was so excited that there would be one opening up in Watter's Creek. The good: I decided to try a new dish, Leo's favorite scramble. It did not disappoint, the hollandaise over the eggs mixed with the potatoes was such a treat. My sister in law ordered the banana bread French toast which was phenomenal. The bad: the service wasn't very good. It took a long time to get our service and order our food. This is common given it's a brand new location, so if you check it out be patient. Regardless, the food was consistent as is with its other locations so it's worth the try if you're in the area!

Giant cinnamon roll - nice and gooey inside.

I've been twice now and was underwhelmed both times. The service has been great. I'll give it that - host/hostess very friendly, waitstaff very attentive, bartender very good. The food was just okay. Not bad but nothing special. I probably wouldn't order anything we got again (with the exception of the giant cinnamon roll we shared...that was great). One turnoff was the silverware which was thin and flat and reminded me of a school cafeteria. I'm not sure I'll go back. Maybe for a coffee and a pastry on the patio.

Fabulous breakfast at Breadwinners in Watters Creek today! We had Kristi as our server and she was AMAZING! Food was top notch!!! Service was outstanding! It was chilly in there because of all the windows so dress warm! Happy to see this addition in Allen! Can't wait to go back!

Courtney was my server and she was excellent. Answered all of my questions and on top of that referred me to a great lunch. 10/10 would go back again. The restaurant itself was very nice and organized. To top it off the food was amazing! Go see Courtney!

I live down the street and have come here twice. Service is great, everyone has been friendly and welcoming. I ordered the classic breakfast, no complaints. The grits are yum but I'd compare them to more of a polenta... very savory. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and waffles. He said it was okay/good, I think there was a bit too much going on for him. The cake and key lime pie are divine. We had muffins that were on the dry side and the coffee was decent, definitely one of the best places for breakfast on this side of town.

Amazing breakfast food, ambience is so nice, and the staff are very accommodating. And very helpful.

First off the Chicken Fried Chicken was delicious prepared very well good flavor and very crispy. The gravy had a lot of flavor as well no salt or pepper needed. I order three eggs over medium the yolk could have been a bit more runny. I didn't care for the has because it did not have any potatoes in it. Service was good but did not knock my socks off. The restaurant is decorated very nice and had a good vibe. I ordered a second piece of sourdough toast which tasted great hence the reason for a second piece. The real home made jam made the toast. When the bill came I was charged $4.50 for a single piece of toast. This was a ridiculous amount for a single piece of toast it was more than my iced tea. Really $2.00 for a piece of bread toasted seems like a reasonable price. I just finished breakfast at another breakfast spot up on University. I really can't compare apples to apples except for the addition pice of toast. $1.99 for two slices of toast. Over all meal was priced fair. I just don't think I will be back here due to the prices.

I have visited this location about four times and have previously had a positive experience. I like the seating layout, and as someone dining alone, I usually sit at the bar. The food has been consistent, and the service has usually been very good. Today, as usual, I was seated at the counter. After waiting without being acknowledged, I went to the hostess stand and explained that I had been waiting. She immediately took my order, and I returned to the bar. Shortly after that, another couple arrived and was seated. A waitress immediately brought water to them, this appeared to be the same waitress who had walked past me several times without acknowledging me. I was surprised and went back to the hostess stand to explain what had occurred. The hostess told me my order would be ready soon and asked whether I wanted to take it with me. I did not want to take it with me. I had planned to eat there before an appointment, but because of the delay, I no longer had time to eat. My question is simple: why wasn't I waited on? I would appreciate an explanation and acknowledgment from management about why I was ignored for approximately 10-15 minutes while other guests received service.

The cornbread was very moist and delicious with a little kick from the jalapeño. The burger was also very tender. My kids really enjoyed the Milwaukee pretzels because of how soft it was. The menu continues to evolve, which is good. Although this last visit both my husband and I noticed the menu is becoming very similar to Cheesecake Factory. By that I mean, they are adding more pages, more loose menu pages with options and their menu items are going into realms that seem very off brand (raw ahi tuna plates, shwarma salad, bao buns, etc). Lazy Dog has always been associated with a diverse beer selection, a down home (almost) southern like food menu. A more elevated and sophisticated Cracker Barrell if you will. This detour from the 'norm' gave us both pause - could the food actually be good? While my hubby and kids stuck to their regular options (crispy deviled eggs, buffalo chicken bites, kids menu) I chose to try the Chili Crunch Ahi Tuna - sashimi grade seared rare tuna, furikake-seasoned rice, edamame, avocado, marinated cucumbers, pickled ginger, spicy garlic crunch, citrus soy dipping sauce and it was DELICIOUS!!! I enjoyed every bite of my meal and would absolutely order it again. I definitely think Lazy Dog is making a run for being competition to Cheesecake Factory when it comes to their menu. Their desserts however have a LOOOOONG way to go. The Campfire Cookies were awful!! Stale, cooked firm, every bite had so many white chips it was overwhelming, there was barely any chocolate, the drizzle soaked into the stale cookies and was tasteless. I have a hard time saying no to any cookie, but could easily say no to these every time. I will actually look forward to trying Lazy Dog again now that they have other healthier options to choose from.
