First time trying out Bojangles and it exceeded my expectations. Compared to other fried chicken places their tenders were flavorful and super crispy. The family meal came with 3 sides, 4 sauces and 1/2 gallon of lemonade. The Mac and cheese was really good and so was the coleslaw. I would not get the fries again. They weren't super crispy but they were well seasoned. The biscuits were super soft. The lemonade was tart and had actual pulp in it which was surprising for a fast food place. I did have to wait over 30 min for my food during a lunch rush. There is also no plates if you get the family meal so it's a little hard to eat everything. I'm super glad for my Bojangles fan friends to have one in the area now! Like others have said there are some fan favorite menu items not available, but hopefully as time goes on they will add them to the menu if enough people let them know they want those items. I went July 4th morning and the wait wasn't bad, about par for a busy drive thru time. I had only been to Bojangles once before and it was a pass through on the way to or from Florida. So for my first time at the new location we opted to try breakfast. The Bo-tato rounds are thick and really good. Though our regular size came with just 4 so we each only got to try one. We got chicken & steak biscuits. The chicken itself was delicious. There was one biscuit with a more flakey texture and the others were a bit dryer. So i think we were the tail end of either an older batch or a dryer batch. So just in case I recommend some honey for it personally. They have sauces but I wasn't offered any and didn't know to ask, but luckily we took our stuff Togo so we had stuff here. The steak biscuit was good, and my husband is glad to have another breakfast sandwich option in the area! We'll be swinging by again for lunch or dinner once the school year gets back into the swing of things. I need this place to have higher stars! It's still brand new so the lines were long, but they got through the rush fast and efficiently. The kids outside were so sweet and helpful. It's been hot but they didn't seem upset. Even the owner was outside making sure everything was going smoothly. They genuinely were trying to help and make sure we had a great experience. The food.... The FOOD. I was willing to try the bone in since that's what they're known for but, they only have boneless and tenders. Perfect, I love tenders! Being from NC and a former Bojangle's manager for many years, I was excited to find out that there was a Bojangle's in TEXAS! We were very disappointed to find out that chicken pieces weren't sold here, only chicken tenders. That is not the real Bojangle's experience and also sad to see the limited selection of sides, i.e. cajun pintos, green beans, etc. A nice touch would even have been to have Cheerwine as sold in the Carolinas, to give the genuine Bojangle's experience that my family and I miss and always run to whenever we are in a place that has authentic Bojangle's. read more

Bojangles in Texas is like Whataburger in New York and deciding to serve beef sliders. Drive across DFW to visit Bojangles, having been many times in the eastern part of the country. To find out that they don't serve bone in chicken was a bit of a shock. I mean, it's not the end of the world, but dang... y'all missed the mark here in a major way. You can have chicken strips or a chicken sandwich--I didn't need to drive all this way for this! Chicken biscuits are only served during certain hours too... that's just crazy. There were tons of workers in the back, but it took like over 10 minutes to get my order. You sell one or two items... it shouldn't be that difficult. Once the food came out, it was pretty decent. So I had seen this place reviewed by a couple of people on Youtube. I pulled in about 8:30 a.m. on a weekday expecting a busy restaurant given their biscuit breakfast specialties. I was the only customer in the place. I ordered the steak and biscuit. They gave me potatoes that I didn't order but whatever. The biscuit was cold, hard, flavorless and crumbly in a bad way. The fried "steak" was just some breading around an unseasoned patty that may have been beef. The potatoes were not seasoned and were just a waste of carbs. Whoever owns or manages this location has either bought into a worthless franchise or has total contempt for their customers. I wouldn't serve this slop to a starving dog. read more

Bojangles takes the top spot as far as fast food chicken after my recent experiences! The best chicken biscuits I've ever had, although this visit, I tried their lunch for the first time, and it didn't disappoint! The chicken tenders came bigger than I expected, which is a plus, fries were well seasoned, biscuit was nice and buttery, & the bo-berry biscuits were really good. Tenders are really crispy and taste great. Had Mac as our side, not bad for fast food mac. Chicken sandwich was trash, nothing special would rather just have the strips. I did go on the second day it open and it was a madhouse!! But to say it was a bad 2 hrs in line I won't complain!!! they had it under control all the workers they were outside directing traffic. If you have high blood pressure do not come here. The fries are saltier than the Dead Sea. I guess i can't complain about them not seasoning their food but those fries are a danger to everyone's health. The drink was less than average, i got an Arnold Palmer and it tasted like medicine and there was so much grainy pulp , i might as well have swallowed sand. Not good at all. The only good things were the Bo Berry Biscuits and the Chicken Sandwich. The biscuit was light and fluffy and melded well with the icing, and the chicken sandwich had great crunch as well as the chicken tasting good with a hint of a kick to it. The chicken portions are huge! They are juicy and full of flavor. The macaroni was good. The biscuit looked the like the size of two biscuits together, sooo buttery and good-not dry! The peach cobbler was a huge disappointment, the smell and the taste were disgusting, I don't know how to describe it, but it just tasted fake. Bojangles HAD great customer service. I'm writing this review as I've been waiting 30 minutes on my order, along with 4 other cars waiting on orders and 6 people on the inside waiting on their order. Update: I eventually had to go IN the restaurant. Only half of my order was brought out to the car, so as I waited ANOTHER 10 minutes, I decided to go in the store myself to get the rest of my order. I waited ANOTHER 10 minutes before I received the rest of my order inside the restaurant. I counted 7 people on the inside waiting on their orders as well. The is BEYOND bad customer service. The service has changed tremendously since the grand opening. Anytime I go through the drive-thru now, I have to pull over/park and wait on my food. Only come here if you have time to kill. We've been here a couple times, and each time the service has been incredibly bad. I waited 35 minutes the first time for my order. This time was 30 minutes. My wife went to check on our order and they couldn't find it. They finally filled our order, sort of, it was missing several things and required multiple trips to the counter to get everything. As we were eating, they then called my name with the order they couldn't find 10 minutes earlier. The staff was completely ambivalent, completely disorganized and rattled. Nobody seemed to know what was going on. It's extremely poorly managed. The only reason I gave it two stars is the food. The chicken strips are fantastic. Dipping sauces have great flavor. I'm glad that this side of town is finally getting some cool stuff. This area is a hidden gem so I'm happy to see that Bo' chose Euless as its first TX location, especially in this little convenient section. I did a few years in the Southeast and had experienced Bojangles before but I forgot what it was like. My husband and toddler ventured out to experience the 90 minute wait in the drive-thru and came back with a family meal of tenders and sides. They both enjoyed it, but for me, the chicken was too spicy! If you're sensitive to spicy foods, you may not like this. I did enjoy the sides of rice and mac and cheese though. My baby enjoyed pieces of the biscuit so it really was a whole family meal. Even though the chicken was too spicy I'm happy to say that the food is well seasoned. The store was moving very efficiently today. They had all hands on deck. From cashiers to cooks to runners for food, to someone working the dining area. Area. Inside you could see the two young ladies preparing biscuits through the glass window. Went through the line very quickly. I would probably say there were maybe 15 people in front of me in line. But it took less than 5 minutes to get to the front of the line. Food came out within 5 minutes. Had a pretty decent size. Order. Ordered the 12 piece tender family meal that came with 12 tenders, three sauces, to fixings which are their sides, and a half a gallon of iced tea, plus four biscuits. That they had options for included ranch, jalapeno ranch, barbecue, honey mustard, and peach honey pepper. Pepper. I got two bo-berry biscuits, which are just blueberry biscuits. I also got a chicken biscuit for later, cuz I have some honey butter at home that I need to get rid of and what better way than to put it on a chicken biscuit. We also got two chicken sandwiches, mine was a deluxe that included lettuce and tomato in addition to the pickles and mayo. We also try the mac and cheese common addition to french fries. Other side items that they offered included dirty rice, and coleslaw. The great thing was that they had breakfast from 5:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. I saw people coming out with biscuits and gravy and hash browns during lunch time at 1:00 p.m. it was amazing. So hard to make that 10:30 time before they stop serving breakfast at other restaurants. On to the food. The quality was great. Like I said earlier, it was hot and fresh. It was a real chicken breast in both of the sandwiches. The shape of the breast told it all. It was not your typical round Patty that fit perfectly into the bun. It was twisted, it was curved, it was folded over. It was juicy. It was crispy due to the matter. It was flavorful. As you can see after you took your first bite. You can see those spices right up under the crispy batter. Bread was soft. Fresh ingredients. The macaroni and cheese was topped with melted cheese to enhance the flavor. French fries were seasoned well, but could have been a little bit more. Crispy. Biscuits were fresh out of the oven covered with icing, that I could have done without. Great customer service. On to breakfast for the next visit. Just took a taste of the peach honey pepper sauce. I see how Bojangles was trying to come out with something new. Chicken tenders were pretty good, not really a Cajun style flavor but, it was juicy and it wasn't to crispy or under crispy, there was actually more chicken than batter, unlike most places that are mostly batter and little chicken, kinda tasted like KFC tenders but a little better, the fries were awful, they were dried out and way to salty, the dirty rice wasn't bad, the biscuits were ok, not use to a semi-salted biscuit, the peach cobbler was so sweet, it made my teeth hurt. This was our 1st experience with Bojangles. There were plenty of napkins and sporks as well as enough sauce for the tenders. Next time we are just going to get chicken and not the sides. In the area for business, so a few of us decided to have Bojangles for breakfast. I tried the Steak Biscuit - it was delicious, soft, and moist. The Bo-tato Rounds were crunchy on the outside and mouthwatering. I washed breakfast down with some lemonade and I could taste the lemon juice used to make it authentic.
