I immediately started getting stomach cramps and eventually threw up. Later I started running a fever, chills, a horrible headache and finally diarrhea. It's now Saturday and although my fever has broke Im still dehydrated because I can't even keep water down, still have the headache and stomach pain. I Googled my symptoms to confirm food poisoning but became more alarmed when I researched the specific bacteria associated with shellfish poisoning. I definitely made a report with the health dept because this is dangerous to the public. Of course I will NEVER go back but if you choose to, be warned.

I ordered the 2 pieces fish special with fries and hushpuppies. This meal was a special posted on the window. The fish was cooked perfectly with added crunchies. I love the cruchies the best even though they are bad for me. I call the extra fried batter they put under the fish cruchies. I was lucky on my visit at lunchtime and had fresh hot fish. I think they have some of the best hushpuppies. Fish is supposed to be good for you but being fried with all the batter it probably is not. I will still eat here on occasion because I like them.

It was an all female crew. Two employees were on break in the dinning room. The manager was sweeping an already clean restaurant. However, when I looked at the dust pan there's was a lot of mess. So glad she was sweeping. The lady crew seemed to all get along because they were chatty. I ordered a corn on the Cob. It was like 4.00? It was ok. Not the best corn I've had. Mountain Dew was ice cold and sweet. Captain D's offers snack combos, senior discounts and a variety of menu items. I will definitely be back to try a meal. Can't wait to bring my shipmates here! Saw nothing but good things so figured I would try it next time I got a chance. I think they stay open from 6-9. I ordered the dime piece special. Six wings and one side, I got the Zydeco cajun pasta, and wanted to try the fries so I ordered some of those. It was about a ten minute wait, I got my stuff and headed to the house. Just a TLDR, everything was pretty damn good. I agree that the chicken didn't have what I would call a cajun seasoning to it, but it was seasoned perfect and it was fried perfect. Great crunch, great flavor. I think they threw an extra wing in there and I still ate every one. I was gonna save a couple for lunch the next day but I couldn't help it. Great fried chicken, and the sizes are pretty big. The pasta did have a cajun twist to it, plenty of crawfish, and although I coulda used a little more spiciness, it was really good. I ate about half of it and the rest for lunch the next day and it tasted even better. The fries had a good seasoning to them, but I wish they would've been cooked a little more. They were a little to soft for me, but I still ate what I could handle. The servings for the pasta and fries were what I consider pretty good portions. Last thing in the combo was a can soda. Everything was $20, a great deal on this stuff. They have different specials. The Zydeco pasta was the special when I went, and I know to get whatever is on special. I'll be going back to get some of that great chicken and whatever else is on special. I kept check on when they are open on Facebook. They are good about keeping current on hours and locations.
