Bobby Q - This is the apple pie ala mode - Barbeque Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

YUM !!!! Great food, large portions, fair prices. EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE ! the waitress was so very friendly and helpful on our first time in. We ordered a full slab of ribs & brisket. We ate what we could there and then took home so much food. My husband and I had it for breakfast & dinner three more days ! That's insane ! The food was so good and re-heated very well. read more

Bobby Qs quality is very good but be prepared it's very pricey. The drinks especially were more than I thought they would be. But we enjoyed the food. We told the server we were needing slower service as we were discussing plans and it was super slow, but the server came by every 5 minutes to see if we were ready to order. There was literally 1 other table on the patio and we were being rushed all night. Really put a damper on the whole night. Also, they used to give a free bag of warm fresh donuts at the end of the meal, and we got two cold stale donuts. I get that it's free but I honestly would rather have not gotten them if they aren't going to put the effort in. read more

Great food and service. And the ambience is nice. A great low key evening for Dinks and dinner.

Place is getting over the top ridiculously expensive & all the while "all" the portion sizes are getting smaller & smaller, but the price of meals do "NOT" match the size of the meal. I feel like I do not want to get ripped of any longer & they charge for e "EVERY" little thing u order that should already come with the meal already! They have gotten so darn cheap that after u are done with your tiny little ultra-expensive meal that does "NOT" even fill you up they now only give u only "two tiny winny itsy bitzy" what the call donuts that u would have to put magnifying glasses on top see. I will "NOT" be dining out at BOBBY Q's again. You would expect to "NOT" go away hungry after being totally "GOUGED"! SO disappointing! Never again! :(:( :( :( read more

Best BBQ in town! Great, prompt service. Fun atmosphere. Love the fresh donuts for dessert.

Everything was delicious including the little donuts they gave us ! Thank you Bobby Q's

Great food and customer service. Close to our home and room for big parties of people.

IT'S NOT THAT GOOD. They either give us over cooked or burnt pieces. I've tried going back on different days and times but it didn't matter

Yummy!!! Came here with my dad because he is supposed to set up a meeting here. I got a beef brisket sandwich with a baked potato! It was so good! The cornbread was just amazing and our waiter with tattoos was super friendly! I would love to come back here again! read more

Bobby Q - Sliced BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich - Barbeque Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

While the ambiance and service at this location were great, the pork slider lunch special was a major disappointment. It came with barely two ounces of meat on a bun that looked like a cheap, low-quality grocery store roll. It was definitely not worth the price, and I would not go back. read more

So, showed up at 3:55 pm on 5/11. Sat on the patio. We were there for happy hour my friend had showed up at 3:40. Our server was initially very attentive and got him his wine and me my beer. This is where the service fell apart. The server never came back This is May in Phoenix. If the server was overloaded with other tables we could understand. This was not the case. There were 3 other patrons in the restaurant. All the servers and other employees were at the hostess stand and there were 4 of them. A bartender could tell visually that our drinks at that point were almost empty. However, we were not her customers Fair enough! However, at 4:15 pm I would expect our server to have come back to check on us. Also, not begrudging employees working double shifts. But, 2 other employees eating wings in the bar. All things forgiven if I had gotten decent service. I was going to eat dinner. But, given the service climate. I decided to cut my losses and pay for my beverages and leave . I would have commented to the Manager on duty if one has been visible. I have been to other locations of BobbyQ's and had a great experience. It's just a shame the employee's and management at this location don't care. Even though this location is only 3.5 miles from my house. I doubt I will be back. It might be a while, but will go to the 27th ave location. Good luck with this location You might want to fix your service challenges or you might go the way of Zen Burger. People will only put up with so much even if the food is exceptional. Don't rest on your Laurel's. read more

Has to be the best BBQ in Phoenix. Service and facility are very nice. The ambiance is friendly and welcoming

I ate quicker than I could take pictures. We enjoyed the chips and queso and cornbread appetizers. Order a few cocktails (coconut lime mojito) and the BBQ chicken sandwich. The location has indoor and outdoor seating options and great for small or very large parties. Such a nice atmosphere read more

Went for Father's Day and got Anthony B as a server. He was amazing. Ask for him next time you go in and you won't be disappointed. After we left we realized that my son had forgotten his fannypack with his diabetic supplies and wallet inside. I rushed back to the restaurant more than a little panicked but Anthony had set it aside for us at the hostess stand! Thank-you Anthony B! read more

The food was excellent just a bit pricey...Don't go on a budget. The donuts at the end were a nice touch.

Excellent experience at Bobby's! BBQ isn't our go-to cuisine so we needed guidance, and our server Sydney was happy to provide it. We ordered the 2-meat platter (braised beef and bbq chicken) with sides of pecan slaw and mashed potatoes. Also got the perfect burger. Every single element was mouthwatering. The burger was perfectly made, and the meats on the platter were moist and savory. The space is very large and gives off old-western pub vibes to complement the great food. Highly recommended! read more

Never disappointed. Been many many times and always where we take friends and family who visit from out of state.

Awesome!!!! The service, food, variety and ambiance was amazing here. If you are in the area please eat here!!

While this was my first time dining here it won't be my last. I was not quite ready for how expansive this place is inside. It's really big and also great for large groups. The food was delicious. I had the pork ribs and the rib tips. They were cooked very nicely but I did find the sauce a bit too sweet for my liking. For sides I had slaw and the garlic broccoli. I felt the broccoli was a bit undercooked but it was still good. The service was good. Fast and attentive which is just how I prefer it. read more

Its ok, nothing was over top, the service was good, the manager did walk by asking how we were doing and all, its ok

The Brisket taco with the mac n cheese side was FANTASTIC!!!! Kelcie was a Great waitress, and the place is just beautiful inside!

great place love the food great environment and atmosphere the foods good people polite

The food is good and my hubby loves it here I personally prefer the drinks but I really have no complaints with the food.

They messed up a great thing! We haven't had Bobby Q for a while so we decided to have it for Sunday dinner. We purchased the Whole Hog Heaven for $83.99 which came to a total of $92.89. This is unacceptable with what you get! They have really went downhill in everything. Call it greed or what have you but we had to put in another order at a different restaurant to feed 4 people! These portions aren't it!!!! You should be ashamed of yourselves. And only 4 pieces of cornbread? Very disappointed! The taste wasn't there either. Wish we could get our money back! read more

Throw your diet completely out of the window and gorge yourself in all that Bobby Q has to offer. This barbecue restaurant has exceeded expectations on all fronts. This place was packed but there was still enough seating and servers that we got a table immediately for a party of five. We went over the menu and decided to get the Whole Hog Heaven for the five of us. It comes with 2 types of ribs, 2 types of meats, and 3 sides. Look at the attached picture, this is like a BBQ Thanksgiving feast! The meat was marinaded well and the BBQ sauce was good but not overdone. The loaded mash potatoes came with cheese, chives, and bacon which was so good. The Mac and cheese was so creamy and thick. Did I also mention there is complimentary and unlimited cornbread. The cornbread is very fresh, warm, crispy, and crumbly. We also ordered the Q Rolls which are similar to eggrolls but use a puff pastry wrap with a beef filling. Oh and I almost forgot, the end of the meal we received freshly baked mini donuts! This was a nice surprising way to end the meal. They were super fresh, crispy, and tasted like churros. With all this food, we were also pleasantly surprised that everything came out extremely quickly and perfectly made. Service was phenomenal and consistent throughout the night. I would whole heartedly recommend coming here to eat. Everything from start to finish was amazing. You definitely will leave full and satisfied. read more

Omg! If I could give 10 stars I would. The food was absolutely to die for and the service was incredible. A beautiful lady named Cheyenne waited on us and even with other people she was serving, she was so attentive. She made sure our drinks were always filled, she inquired about the food if it was good, made recommendations for entrees AND drinks. We drove from Tucson, braved a tire blowout on the freeway and it was STILL well worth the trip. I HIGHLY recommend Bobby q's for the wonderful people and the best BBQ that was worth driving from Tucson for. Shout out to our girl, Cheyenne for providing excellent service. Girl, your boss needs to give you a raise. read more

My favorite barbecue spot in all of Arizona. You can't go wrong with the St. Louis ribs. The Services reliably good. The ambience is the best barbecue ambience you'll ever find. Nothing in the country slaps the way Bobby Q's does. Usually you go to barbecue place and they screw some part of the experience up by giving you plastic silverware or paper plates. Whoever runs this place clearly knows what a good restaurant experiences along with amazing barbecue. Cannot speak more highly of everything they do, including those homemade fresh donuts at the end! read more

Food : 1 through 10 it was a 8 good seasoning , good flavor , good smoke . Service: 1 through 10 it was a 10 spectacular performance, they were on it . Ambiance: 1 through 10 it was a SOLID 9 CLEAN, elegant, comfortable what more can you ask for ? read more

First time visiting Bobby Q after hearing great reviews from friends! Ambience was fun! Felt very southern and casual. Our server gave us top notch service with great recommendations. Their signature Q rolls were outstanding. Seriously, I could just eat two orders of them and call it a day. The steak I ordered during happy hour was just okay. Wouldn't get it again-not very tasty and kind of flabby. The sides of roasted corn and Mac and cheese were delicious though! I would definitely come back for those Q rolls and maybe to try another entree. read more

Bobby Q - Signature Q rolls starter - Barbeque Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Came back to try Bobby Q again. I still think the Q Rolls are by far the best item on the menu. Our server tonight was busy and not overly personable but he was efficient. Review of F&B: Q Rolls: 5 stars. Delicious. Whoever thought these up was a genius. Pulled pork sandwich: 3.5 stars. My pork had some fatty stuff in it. I could only eat half the sandwich. My husband loved his. Mac and cheese: 3 stars. Kinda tasted like it's made with Velveeta? Which is weird. Shoestring fries: 4 stars. Good flavor. Strawberry lemonade: 4 stars. Would be 5 stars if they did refills but they don't. Corn bread: 5 stars. Delicious. Wish they would bring you more of this. If you're coming here get the Q Rolls. Trust me on this! read more

Bobby Q's is one of my favorite barbeque spots to dine at. With my most recent visit I had Smoked Brisket Tacos and a House salad. The tacos were so delicious, full of flavor that was bursting in mouth! I'd say the portion size on the tacos was very good as well. The salad was very refreshing, lettuce and veggies were crunchy and fresh. read more

Service was excellent. Seriously great. Ambiance was amazing. I would rather have had bbq from a hole in the wall than here. Every piece of brisket, beef rib, pork rib, and any other bbq was dry and did not taste good. Warning sign #1 was when our food was brought with BBQ sauce overly smothered all over everything. I had the beef ribs which did not resemble beef ribs. My wife, daughter, and son, shared a platter with baby back ribs, brisket, beef ribs, and pulled pork. The brisket was dry and they tried to hide the dryness with sauce. The best thing on the platter was the baby back ribs which if you braise them are hard to mess up. For how much this place spent on ambiance, they should have spent on bbq technique. Not recommended. read more

Amazing service with attentive staff. In Phoenix for spring training games and I was extremely satisfied with the quality and the high level of service Bobby Q. This is a restaurant that can serve over 200 guests based on the size and high quality of the employees they manage to provide five star service to everyone. The brisket was amazing and the meal started out with some extraordinary corn bread.... If you looking to have a delicious barbecue experience head over to Bobby Q!!! read more

Every employee greats you with a smile. . The food is always great. You have to try their pecan coleslaw.

This was only my second time here. I don't remember much about my first time but this time was really good! We started with the Q Rolls, which are like egg rolls with brisket inside. They were delicious best thing I've eaten in a while!! My wife and I both got pulled pork sandwiches, her side was Mac and cheese and mine was shoestring fries. I thought the sandwich was pretty good. The toasted bun put it over the top. My wife didn't to enjoy her sandwich as much. She ended up eating less than half of it and her Mac and cheese tasted like artificial cheese, almost plastic tasting. Service was top notch throughout the entire meal. read more

Everything was perfect. I wasn't sure what to order but took their recommendations and everything turned out great! One of the best if not the best ribs I've had. The pulled pork was great too and both sides were excellent. Some of the best coleslaw I've had. The bbq is easily better than anything you can get in California. Lastly the staff are were awesome, attentive and extremely polite! read more
