Bobby Q has been on my to-do list for quite some time, and now there's a location closer than north Phoenix to the East Valley! I. love. BBQ. Period. So when this new location comes onto my radar and I have an equal amount of interest from friends, it's on for dinner. If you want to set a reservation, you can do via OpenTable or call them. I mixed up dates on OpenTable so I had to call them, but the girl on the phone was quite pleasant & secured the correct date all while asking what our seating preference was. So we were set. Arrival time comes and *boom* you're hit with a smokey-smell walking up from the parking lot. ::insert drool-y mouth:: We were sat immediately and it wasn't too busy on this weeknight, so we probably would have fared well without a reservation. Our server was great - he kept our drinks full and gave us some time to look at the menu and for some dining stragglers. When we asked him for suggestions, he told us that you could do no wrong with anything on the menu. Lord was he correct! Cornbread = I wanted more... there wasn't enough for all of us ravenous diners in our group [how about unlimited bread?!] My meal was the pulled pork & two side dishes combo, of which I picked mac n cheese and veggies [#GottaStayHealthyIsh]. Loved every bite of it with their BBQ sauce, and I actually took a doggy bag home despite all efforts to join the Clean Plate Club. I was surprised with the doggy bag of donuts as he passed out checks. I managed to eat one and fell in love [because carbs = love], so much that one of my friends just gave me his bag too. Cannot wait to come back and try more BBQ! read more

Let me start by what was good. Atmosphere was spot on. Service was excellent. Corn bread was possibly the best I have ever had. The donuts at the end was a nice touch. Now on to the meal. I got the 2 meat plate. The pulled pork and brisket. Brisket was moist and good flavor not a lot of smoke but very fatty. Pulled pork was also moist but extremely salty finish. Regular BBQ sauce was good. Spicy sauce was not at all spicy. My daughter had the Mac and cheese it was very rich but good. I give the service and atmosphere 5 and the food a 3. read more

pretty bad takeout situation... won't be coming back... when i place an order for pick up at a certain time, i would expect the food is ready at that time. not that you start making it at that time!! literally took 30+ mins to get a takeout order that we had set to be picked up at 7pm. rude in the pickup area as well. for the food: get the baked beans and brisket, cornbread also tasty. pulled pork above average but not mind blowing. they do have good bbq sauce. we got an order of the beef ribs also which were just okay, same with the corn (could skip both of these). had been here a few times before but really turned off by our most recent takeout experience and we'll be finding a new bbq place read more

My husband and I ate here last night and it was so disappointing. We used to go to the one in Phoenix and loved it so we were thrilled to try this one. We each ordered a sandwich (pulled pork and brisket) that were so dry the gallon of bbq sauce we poured on them barely helped. My Orange Blossom beer tasted off...almost like the line was a bit dirty or the beer was a little old. To top it off the service was horrible. We sat at the bar and could see that there was plenty of open seating around but the service was so slow you'd think the place was packed. The bartender barely acknowledged us and a girl who may have been a server had to jump behind the bar to help him out. She was much better than he was but he was already so far behind that there was no way she could have caught him up. Ultimately, we won't be heading back here anytime soon. Maybe our expectations were just too high. read more

I absolutely love BobbyQs! Their burger is one of the bests I've ever had. The spinach dip is out of this world and comes with delicious toast points. I order the beef brisket a lot too and it never disappoints. It's so hard to choose a side because the Mac n cheese and the shoestring fries are both outstanding. The also give you warm homemade donuts sprinkled with cinnamon sugar complimentary with you check. My nephew calls it the donut place and loves watching them make the donuts right there next to hostess stand. It can get pretty busy so I would recommend making a reservation especially on the weekends. read more

We had a wonderful experience at Bobby Q last night. Our server was a nice man training another male server. They both did a wonderful job. We never waited on refills or check backs. The food was so good. I had the bbq chicken salad and it was a very impressive salad! Super good i was not disappointed. My husband gad a three meat combo and the meat was cooked perfectly a ton of flavor! The ribs fell right ofd the bone! We also tried the vegetable of the day, which was a hefty portion if broccolini and it was one of my favorite parts. You cant beat the complimentary donuts they hand out at the end. We had a Celebration of Life party for over 90 people at this restaurant. Without hesitation, we can honestly say that the process from getting the quote to packing up after the party was flawless. The ambiance was perfect, the food was superb, and the service was 5 star. We worked with Matt for the quote and planning, and then we worked with Lindsey for the food and service once we arrived. Matt went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and that we had enough food. He even came in on his day off before everyone arrived to check on everything. Having unlimited non alcoholic drinks of variety was a big plus as so many attendees had different requests. Lindsey and her serving staff worked like a well-oiled machine. They were constantly checking on drinks and removing dirty dishes from tables throughout the entire ceremony. We looked around Mesa for a venue and then priced out catering, and we're happily surprised at the pricing from Bobby Qs for both. Having a bar where people could purchase their alcohol was a benefit that we had not expected. I would highly, highly recommend this location for parties or meetings. We were able to set up a screen and projector as well as a speaker and microphone for use during the party. This location can accommodate up to 350 people. If there was an option to give them 10 stars, we would have gladly done it. read more

If you are trying to take a large reservation to this company: DON'T. The hostesses are rude AF. I called trying to reserve for a large group for a work travel dinner and asked a few questions and she put me on hold to ask the manager for answers. 18 minutes later and I was still on hold, I hung up and called again. She immediately put me back on hold for 4 more minutes and then picked up. She was very rude when I had reminded her why I was calling and if they would be able to answer my questions. I told her that I would need to cancel the reservation since they were not able to adjust to splitting the check more than 4 ways. This business is missing out on an easily $2,000+ check from our group. read more

I don't really understand all these 5 star reviews. I definitely won't be coming back again. The over cooked $50 Ribeye steak I ordered was thin and not cooked to the preference I wanted of medium rare. I only took one bite of the beans, which would probably infer how I felt about them. The pulled pork sandwich could've been better, considering it is hard to mess up pulled pork. We waited about 30 minutes for our food just for it to be not worth the wait. The only good part of this meal was the corn bread. read more

Brisket was awesome- some of the best ever had. Q-rolls were alright, but were a large quantity. Sausage was smoky and pretty lean - I would recommend asking for the bbq sauce on the side (a tad sweet). Sides were very good, esp Mac and cheese and the potato salad. Cole slaw is not vinegary or too much mayonnaise either. Cornbread was soft and cooked right, donuts at the end were da bomb! Bartender even made my kid a special off the menu milkshake! Specialties

Bobby Q offers a culmination of barbeque favorites. Along with extensive barbecue research mixed with culinary expertise, the secret behind Bobby Q's barbeque lies within the slow cooking process over Tennessee hickory wood paired with the perfect blend of spices found in the special dry rub for the meat, as executed by barbeque master, Executive Chef Mark Hittle. This results in succulent hand-pulled pork, smoky sausage links, fork-tender brisket, and ribs that fall right off the bone. The starters will whet your appetite and the desserts will satiate your sweet-tooth cravings, but the barbecue is the show-stopper. So even though I did not enjoy the Kava, it is not my jam. I would try it again lol I know that sounds crazy even after the strange tingling in my throat went away after everything I've said because I saw other people coming in and they had huge juicy type of Kava drinks and I was thinking well you know, maybe I'll come back and try the juicy, drink next time instead of focusing on this particular experience And the reason I say that is because the bartender was so great and informative and it is a fantastic vibe in there and it was busy enough for a weird Wednesday afternoon. Don't feel intimidated if you're not good at riddles--I stressed about this part a little bit beforehand. Don't! Just read it. She gives you a clue that basically tells you what to do, and it's super easy. TIP: Make sure you take a picture in the little riddle/entrance room because you DON'T come back through that room when you leave! We almost missed that opportunity. Once you're inside, it has a really nice, romantic speakeasy atmosphere. We loved the live jazz and really enjoyed the whole experience. It would also be so much fun to dress up a little in Prohibition-era style for the night. For drinks, I had the Neapolitan and my husband had a Manhattan. Yes, the drinks are a little strong--but isn't that how they're supposed to be in a Prohibition speakeasy? Overall, we really enjoyed Alchemy 48. It's romantic, a little different, and the hidden entrance and riddle make it more of an experience than simply going out for drinks. Definitely a fun addition to a date night! The drink menu was good but I really wasn't wowed. They did offer three mocktails which wasn't really impressive and the cocktails did include a variety of liquors and flavor profiles but again, wasn't as extensive or interesting as some other speakeasies around town. The food menu was very disappointing - a lot of dairy and bread - pretzels with cheese, flatbread, queso with chips, and "rabbit food" - hummus with bread and vegetables. We asked to have all vegetables instead of bread and they did accommodate with a generous helping of full-size rainbow carrots and cherry tomatoes. We actually ran out of hummus before we could finish the vegetables. ** | Complete Disappointment - Awful Service and Dirty Tables** I rarely take the time to write negative reviews, but our recent experience here was so incredibly frustrating that I felt compelled to share. We came in hoping for a good meal, but from the moment we were seated until the moment we left, it was a disaster from start to finish. First and foremost, the level of cleanliness in the dining room was completely unacceptable. When we were sat, the table was a total mess. It was incredibly sticky to the touch, visibly damaged, and clearly hadn't been wiped down because it was still covered in crumbs and debris from the previous guests. It's basic restaurant standard to properly sanitize a table between seatings, but that clearly didn't happen here. The service only made a bad situation worse. Our server was completely checked out, highly inattentive, and acted like taking our order was a massive inconvenience. We spent most of our night trying to wave someone down just to get basic refills and updates. To add insult to injury, the complete lack of urgency throughout the entire meal was baffling. We watched other tables around us--who arrived well after we did--get greeted, served, and cleared while we sat staring at a dirty table waiting an eternity just for our drinks to arrive. When the food finally did come out, nobody community bothered to check if we needed anything else, leaving us without silverware or napkins to even clean up the mess that was already left on the table. When we finally asked to speak to management about the lack of service and the dirty condition of our table, the manager on duty was absolutely no help whatsoever. Instead of apologizing, taking responsibility, or trying to make things right, they were completely dismissive and acted like our complaints were a burden. It is incredibly frustrating to deal with leadership that simply does not care about customer satisfaction. What bothers me the most is the total lack of accountability from the entire team. A restaurant can have an off night, but when the server is dismissive and the management is actively hostile to constructive feedback, it shows a deep-rooted issue with how this establishment is run. If the people in charge don't care about basic hygiene or customer courtesy, it trickles down to everyone else, and it absolutely showed during our visit. This wasn't just a sub-par dining experience; it was a masterclass in how to alienate customers. Between the terrible service, the unhelpful management, and the dirty environment, it was an all-around horrible experience. We will definitely not be returning, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you want decent service and a clean place to eat. read more

We had a great experience this week at Bobby Q! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and quickly shown to our table. Along the way, we caught a glimpse of mini donuts being made, and let's just say they had our attention. More on those later\! Carrie was our server, and she was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. Things got off to a great start with the complimentary cornbread. It was warm, moist, and the perfect way to kick off a barbecue feast. I ordered the brisket sandwich with mac and cheese. The brisket had a wonderful smoky flavor and was cooked well. It was just a little drier than I personally prefer, but I'd happily order it again because the flavor was excellent. The mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and a great pairing. My husband started with the loaded potato soup, which he thoroughly enjoyed. For his entrée, he ordered the Tomatillo Brisket Mac & Cheese. Their homemade mac and cheese was topped with smoked brisket, tomatillo sauce, chives, and sour cream. It was creamy, comforting, and the tomatillo added a fresh, slightly tangy twist that kept the dish from feeling too heavy. II was an appetizer but more than enough to be eaten for the meal. Our daughter ordered the pulled chicken with potato salad. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and the potato salad was a delicious classic side that complemented it perfectly. Now, about those mini donuts...they were absolutely worth saving room for! Fresh, warm, and coated in cinnamon sugar, they were the perfect sweet ending to an already wonderful meal. Carrie brought each II us a small bag and they were also complimentary. Between the friendly service, delicious food, and those unforgettable donuts, Bobby Q delivered a barbecue experience we'll definitely be back for. read more

I had high expectations for Bobby Q's in Mesa, especially since I wanted to treat my parents, who were visiting from out of town, to a nice meal. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I had hoped for and left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. One of the biggest issues was the reservation process, which seemed completely pointless. We made a 5:45 PM reservation, expecting to be seated promptly. Instead, we were left waiting until 6:40 PM--nearly an hour later. If reservations do not guarantee a table at the scheduled time, what is the point of making one? Walk-ins were being seated at a similar pace, making it clear that reservations are not prioritized. When we were finally seated, our party of five was placed at a table meant for four, and we were simply told to "pull up a chair." This lack of proper accommodation was frustrating, especially given that the restaurant had advance notice of our party size. It felt unprofessional and unprepared. The food, unfortunately, did not redeem the experience. The Caesar salad tasted as if it was made with straight mayonnaise, rather than a proper dressing. The rib tips were 50% fat, making them chewy, greasy, and nearly inedible. For the amount spent, I expected fresh, high-quality barbecue, not what felt like leftover trimmings and store-bought sides. I wanted this to be a special meal for my parents, but instead, it was a letdown. Tonight was simply not good at all and a complete waste. While the ambiance was nice, it does not make up for the poor service, lack of organization, and subpar food quality. I will not be coming back to chance it again. Hopefully, others have a better experience, but based on tonight, it was a big disappointment. read more

Title: A Fantastic Dining Experience at Bobby Q in Mesa Recently, my wife, brother, sister-in-law, and I had the pleasure of dining at Bobby Q in Mesa, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. Let me start this review by saying that I NEVER take the time to write reviews. I even re-downloaded the Yelp app just to write this review. I live across the freeway from this place and ever since it went up, I can often smell it when I go outside. I love barbeque with a passion but hadn't tried this place until tonight. This is, hands down, the GREATEST barbeque I have literally ever tasted. I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries for just under $13, and it even came with some cornbread. I placed the order to go, drove across the street after placing the order, and it was already ready to pick up! Now for the food. The fries? Literally the BEST fries I've ever had. These thin, season salted fries were absolutely incredible, and came in a respectably sized portion. There were 2 things of cornbread included that I wasn't expecting when I picked up the order, so that was a bonus- fluffy and warm. Now for the sandwich. This sandwich was decently sized, smothered in house barbeque sauce, and came with 2 extra, rather large sides of hot and mild sauce. My god.. this sauce was insanely good. The meat was very tender and not fatty at all, I added more of the hot barbeque sauce to it and literally couldn't stop eating it. I used to swear by Tom's BBQ on Country Club, but they have just been dethroned in my book. I will absolutely be ordering from Bobby Q's many more times in the future. Well done you guys, well done. read more

This is our first time here. We didn't get the greatest first impression. The hostess said hello and asked how many. It was 3 adults and my 2 year old son. We were not offered a high chair during the whole we were there. He sat on my lap for part of the time a little inconvenient when trying to eat. Our server made good suggestions which was nice for our first time. However we saw a lot of staff walk back and forth and we sat along the ilse so you couldn't have missed us. Our food was delivered and we didn't have silverware or napkins. The cornbread had good flavor though. I told the server at the beginning of the meal it was my birthday celebration. So she offered a dessert for after the meal. We didn't get any refills until toward the end of the meal when I asked for it. There were so many plates on our table that were empty that I had to ask to be cleared. The meal itself wasnt bad, it had good flavor but the sides could've been bigger. After dinner my dessert was delivered which was nice, thank you. I got the chocolate cake but we had no silverware again. It had ice cream in the cake which melted. It was a nice touch but we didn't get to really enjoy it. Overall it couldve been better. read more

I recently visited Bobby Q BBQ restaurant and I must say it was an amazing experience! The food, atmosphere, and service were all outstanding. Let's start with the ribs. The meat was so tender and juicy that it fell right off the bone, and the BBQ sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and smoky. If you're a meat lover like me, you won't be disappointed. Wow!!! This place is hands down the best BBQ restaurant I have been to and I have been to a lot! Went here with my husband and 2 sons and boy was the food and service amazing!!! My husband and I shared the Hog Heaven. We chose the beef ribs, St. Louis ribs, pulled chicken, and beef brisket for our meats and the roasted corn, shoestring fries and mac and cheese for our sides. It was ALL DELICIOUS! Everything was so perfectly smoked and tender. The sides were equally as great! My oldest son ordered the burger and he loved it. My youngest son ordered the jumbo shrimp and he love it as well. I would recommend making reservations (they take reservations of any party size) because this place gets busy. My husband and I were in last night for dinner and were blown away. First off the place has a great atmosphere and the remodeling done to the restaurant that was there before paid off. There a lot of good seating options, but we choose to sit at the bar. The bartender Drew really made the night for us. He was quick with unique drink suggestions that weren't on their cocktail menu (which had plenty of good options too), he was very friendly without ever being too much and checked back at the right times. His service is why we will hands down come back. Our food came out fast and everything was delicious. I don't normally go for chicken at a BBQ joint but the smoasted chicken was amazing. My husband had the brisket, which was so good we had to trade some food. The fresh doughnuts at the end of the meal were the perfect cherry on top. read more

I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews and pictures, but unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. I ordered a 1/2 pound of brisket and 1/2 pound of pulled pork. The pulled pork had a delightful smoky flavor and remained moist, without overpowering the palate. However, I was disappointed with the brisket. It lacked any smoke flavor and had no bark, resembling more of a pot roast than traditional barbecue. The meat easily fell apart, whereas I expected it to have a nice crust with visible spices. It felt like the restaurant only used the smoker for show, rather than producing genuine barbecue. The server was friendly, but failed to refill our drinks throughout the meal. Perhaps it was just an off day, but based on this experience, I don't see myself returning. I hold a higher standard for what constitutes true barbecue. read more

We recently visited Bobby-Q in Mesa to celebrate a special occasion for our youngest daughter. Having been there before and not totally blown away, we decided to give it another shot. Unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. Our server struggled with basic service, like keeping drinks refilled, and when the food finally arrived after quite a wait, our daughter's order was completely wrong. By the time they corrected it, the rest of us had already finished our meals. Though the staff and manager apologized and offered a free dessert, it wasn't about the money--it was about the experience we were hoping to have. After two disappointing visits, it's clear that there's a consistent issue with service and attention to detail. We won't be returning. read more

I'm a great granny and when my adorable 6 y/o GGD stayed a couple of days with me, I was determined we would not be eating at McDs. We pulled into Bobby Q and we were not disappointed. Our server was terrific. I mentioned I'd never been there before so when I waffled over potato salad and pecan cole slaw she graciously brought me a bit of both. A rather big bit, I must say, and both sides were delicious. Cutie Pie loved the toothpick fries and her ribs. We both had enough leftover to take home. This is a horrible place and if you are from Globe, Miami or any where like this just know that all the small time workers from there were let go during this horrible crisis. You will not support a person that thanks the employees that started from the beginning that helped him like shit. Still ranks among one of the best BBQ places that we've ever visited. First time to this Mesa location and loved that reservations can now be made on Yelp. 5/5 service on a busy Saturday night and even though we were seated about 1.5 hours before closing time, the food was still delicious and not bottom of the barrel, slim pickings you get at some BBQ places near closing time. Recommend: -Brisket rolls -3 meat combo so you can try a mix of meats. On this visit, we got the baby back ribs, sausage, and brisket. The ribs were the best that I've ever had! My mom had baby backs (I admit i "borrowed" a bone and it was delicious). She had the potato salad and roasted corn with it. She said it was the best corn she had ever had and she is almost 80 years old! Hubby had pulled pork and gave it a glowing review. Overall great food and excellent service. Bobby Qs is the only place near me that I will eat BBQ. I have said it before that I'm not a BBQ person, but they have the best smoked ribs. Everything is smoked in house, so the smell is Divine when walking by. The spicy BBQ and Carolina BBQ are alternate choices to the original BBQ flavor. I recommend trying all, as they are all tasty. The Mac and cheese was once voted best in state, which I'm not sure if they have won any awards as of late, but I remember the original bobby Qs had better tasting Mac and cheese. Overall, I think it's one of the better and classier BBQ joints in Mesa. They have a great drink selection and appealing, dark bar area as well. read more

Had the BEST experience here and I absolutely have to shout out our server, Melanie! From the moment we sat down, she was fun, attentive, and made the whole night feel special. The barbecue was INSANE (seriously... smoked for 18 hours and you can taste every second of it). Everything came out perfect, flavorful, and worth every bite. And the drinks? So cute, creative, and honestly just as good as they looked. Amazing food, amazing vibes, and next-level service thanks to Melanie. The breakfast sandwich had lots of flavor and the eggs with the candied bacon were great, they had a bit of sauce on them but paired well! The bread on it was ok. The burrata my friend said was very good and flavorful and she loved how fresh it tasted! The new Americana was good too and a nice size. Altogether our food came out at a good time & it was a nice spot to visit in the heart of downtown Chandler.

Really disappointed with my experience. I ordered and paid for two items but was only given one,…read moreand my order was made with fries instead of the tots I requested. I went all the way back to have it corrected, expecting them to remake the order. Instead, they took the food I had already left the restaurant with and brought it back, then put tots into the same box with the original food and handed it back to me. That made me extremely uncomfortable from a food safety standpoint. It is a violation since I took it out of the restaurant... Mistakes happen, and I completely understand that, but after having to come back because my order was incorrect and incomplete, I expected it to be handled more professionally. At the very least, I would have expected fresh food or the replacement tots in a separate container not my already served food being taken back and handled again.

Lol Protein is always on the menu for us! We shared the Lobster Spinach Queso, and the Aged Ribeye cooked to a medium rare. We like our steaks medium ish, and while the ribeye came to us cooked perfectly, it was tough. It was even hard to cut, even though it tasted okay. The fries definitely seemed like they had been warmed under a lamp for a while. Probably the best part of the meal was the queso, along with the Double Black Diamond Martinis we had for "Martini Monday." I believe rhe martinis were $7 each which is a great deal these days! It was yummy!! The restaurant was not busy at all on a Monday night. There is a bar on the right side when you enter. There is a huge dining room which would be perfect for a large party. We sat at a quiet booth for tbe evening and our server was great. He even brought us complimentary bread and butter. Overall, the food was okay. I would love to return and try the ribeye again. We really liked the drinks, and will probably return at some point. I will for sure come back for Happy Hour! I'd love to bump up this review to 5 stars, but we shall see...

Party of 4 went to Firebirds Wed. 14. for their early dinner menu…read more 3 of us ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs, 1 grilled salmon. Ribs for two of us were approx 2.5 inches long for 3, approx 6 fries and a 3/4 cup of fruit We actually got half a rib since they were cut. The last one was actually a true 1/2 rack with a large portion of fries and fruit. So, looks like the bone on the ribs were cut in half and that is what we got as the 1/2 rack. The salmon was a very very small filet (it was ordered of the regular dinner menu). We feel cheated. We will never go back. What type of place cuts their pork bones in half and calls it 1/2 rack. Bait and switch. I should have taken a picture, but we were so shocked.

Happy hour never disappoints!…read more Met up with a colleague who was in town for happy hour, and Hop Social was the perfect spot. I've been here plenty of times for happy hour, but it had been at least a year since my last visit. We were able to grab a spot at the bar immediately, which was a nice bonus. Great drinks, solid happy hour options, and our bartender was amazing--friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. Always a fun atmosphere and clearly still a great happy hour spot. I definitely won't wait another year to come back!

Luckily the happy hour prices saved the day. We were stoked for this place since it had good deals & American bar food, I am easy to please with food & hate fancy stuff. Figured this would crush it... but sadly, it did not. Appetizer: chicken strips & fries. Highlight of the meal aside from the tiny serving size (& fries kinda cold). Love they bring BBQ & ranch... was feeling optimistic. Meal: Caesar salad: generic AF, really basic, honestly bagged salad about the same. Steak bites: yikes, big fail here. Three baseball cut steaks that were bleeding, I dunno how you undercook a steak that small. Then no knife with it? lol how are we suppose to eat it, like a caveman? Just a bad cut Burger: a frozen patty with a generic bun & toppings. How can you not get good beef, form a patty then cook? 2/10 at best Sliders: a little better but small & bland as well. One was raw, one was tougher than a hockey puck. Chipotle ranch made it better Drinks & service good but the food was just not there. Unless they revamp the menu, get better ingredients, I am just not sure they're gonna make it sadly

The chimichurri was a wonderful surprise, most places sweeten it a little too much for me, not CHop, instead here it was spiced with a little bit of red chili pepper or serrano, I couldn't tell, but it was so good. I will definitely return!!

Rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the veggies was not mushy or overcooked! Food came out hot and The plates were warm to the touch. Service: There was only one hostess/waitress but she did a great job handling the whole room. She was able to sit us at 5 instead of our 5:30 reservations which was nice. She communicated the menu well and answered our questions. She also informed us that there might be a delay in our food because of the orders ahead of us! The young man that was bussing our table was attentive, took away our dirty dishes immediately and refilled our water quite often. Utensils were removed after appetizer and had to ask for a new set. Ambience: This is a smaller restaurant in a strip mall in Tempe. Very unassuming from the outside and inside isn't fancy like some places but definitely worth the small business/ family owned yummy local business! Overall I recommend this place!
