Met a friend for a lunch and we both haven't been to Bob's in forever and decided to meet up at the Huber Village Blvd location. Food - was good. Not bad at all but there has definitely been a decline in quality over the last decade. Service - our service was friendly and was like Mamaw was serving us. Only critique here is it seriously took way too long to be seated and to check out. Oh and they had to go clear off a table. I think they may have been understaffed and not bussing tables. Inside and out, it's the traditional Bob Evans layout and design. Our server on two separate occasions if we wanted their Blue Ribbon Bacon or Cinna-Biscuits to start. Not sure if she was on autopilot or if they are hard pushing the appetizers but we were like no thank you. I ordered the Blue Plate $7.99 special with Chicken fried steak, green beans, and mashed potatoes and gravy. I went with the biscuits as a side and mixed some honey and butter together for a spread for the biscuits. It was a solid choice. On the way out, I grabbed a loaf of banana nut bread that was just set out of the oven. I should have passed on it. It was overcooked on the top and had little to no flavor. It can be hit or miss, but I did enjoy our brunch we had. The server was great, the food was hot, and mine was made very well. It was a nice and quiet experience.

The food was okay, I give this location a 3 because the staff was nice. Very slow service. Food was okay, place could have been more cleaner. I have watch this establishment as a whole go down. It's sad but it is what it is. I got the biscuit sandwich platter, the biscuit was salty!!! But the gravy was pretty good.

Love the staff and atmosphere. However, quality of food continues to disappoint compared to decades ago. Portions are smaller. A side of ham is sliced thinner and is not as lien. I could not cut some of the ham with a table knife, let alone chew it. Greasy - the ammount of butter/oil used, my eggs were swimming in it on my plate. This is June in Ohio and the side of tomato slices were barely pink and tasted green. Its like the kitchen doesn't care about quality :(

Huber Blvd location. Easy handicapped parking.

Marsha and I decided to only go here to Bob Evans on Veterans Day instead of going to other places. that also offered free meal incentives to eat. That way we could have a relaxed, leisurely breakfast without the need to rush to other restaurants. It was a wonderful plan to come to the restaurant after the morning rush on Veterans Day. There were ample handicapped spots to park to help remove my walker since I was also having to wear a sling after injuring my shoulder. As we walked in, there was no delay in being seated and the whole restaurant was clean and aromatic with all the mixed delicious smells of food. Lee was friendly, courteous, very knowledgeable about the special menu, and helpful to me beyond expectations (pushing me and my chair to the table (since my arm was in a sling). We have come to Huber Ridge Bob Evans many times and the service and the food are always top-notch. Although it was a little difficult to eat with the sling on my arm, Lee, General Mgr. who was also a server today, was accommodating. Marsha and I ordered the Veterans Day special: the chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and green beans served with tasty banana nut bread -- which of course, we bought an extra loaf to take home. Lee brought our drinks and entrees very quickly. Everything was hot! My chicken-fried steak was tender, on the inside with a nice crispness on the outside, and topped with plenty of hot, flavorful gravy. Mashed potatoes were hot and slathered with delicious brown gravy, two sunny-side eggs cooked perfectly (no broken or hard yolks), and green beans that were tender and seasoned well. Did I say that our food was HOT? This was a wonderful delight to Marsha and me. There is also ample handicapped parking. I especially appreciate the wide aisles that enable me to get to my table and the staff also help to move my walker from the immediate area to not interfere with other patrons. We will be back again -- even without the incentive of the free breakfast.

Our server, Anna, was knowledgeable about the food and knew the menu well. We ordered our food and it was delivered in a decent time, not a long wait time. Our food was very tasty. As I was eating, I took a bite and found a dark hair in my food! I was disgusted and finished with my meal. John called our server over and told her what I had found in my food. She apologized and immediately checked to see if it was hers. I assured her that it wasn't hers because it was in my food! She apologized and took my plate and said she would get me a new plate. By that point I wasn't interested in eating anything else! Anna packed my food in a to go container and bag. This event allowed us to meet the couple seated at the table next to us. They were so nice and friendly. As we were checking out the manager apologized and took my meal from our bill. I think I would go to this restaurant again but not sure when. I was impressed with how well they handled my experience in this restaurant.

First time for Brunch at High Bank and was delighted at the variety!!…read more Great quality ingredients, priced appropriately. We loved the peach burrata, so fresh and the arugula was tossed in a rich olive oil with grainy salt. We only wished we had more bread because it was so good! Large seating area, so even though it was noon on a Saturday we were able to be seated. Also got the High Bank House Salad without tomatoes and swapped out the blue cheese for pecorino. They were very accommodating of substitutions which made it easy for us to relax and enjoy. Salmon bowl was well seasoned and the flavors complimented eachother well. Very well cooked salmon, not overdone and a good cut of meat. Tasted as expected.

Disappointed on the speakeasy entrance since it wasn't as "secretive" Dark decor but had a great time. Our server was friendly. I got the creme de la creme and my friend got an old fashioned. We also split the pimento cheese dip. It had a kick to it. Went upstairs for dinner. He got the salmon bowl which looked amazing and I got the spicy chicken sandwich. The side of fries were amazing due to the sauce. Got myself another drink which was the popsicle stand which tasted like a 50/50 bar Had a pair of friendly servers with one in training. Ended the night with a butter cake. Large serving but too much compote for my liking. Overall great experience for both! Tip: best to find street parking as the lot behind the restaurant fills up fast.

Within 20 minutes we received our text and were seated. The ambiance was fun and relaxing to the seating to the music, all a good vibe. Our waiter, Preston, was amazing. From start to finish he brought the energy and recommended a few things! White Sangria was amazing. Make sure to get the biscuits and you'll need more because they are . We shared the street corn nachos and you'll have to try the freshest jalapeños on them, by far the best nachos ever! I kept with the theme and did the Al pastor tacos but with grilled chicken plus queso and chips on the side! Stuffed and amazed at how quick yet fresh and delicious everything was. Every single person kept saying how great their meal was. Danielle, the manager even stopped by to make sure everyone was taken care of! After an amazing meal like that we had to try the desserts, the butter cake and banana were both great but definitely think if you only get one, the butter cake is where it's at. I will absolutely make sure to plan a visit here on my next trip.

As always, asked for recommendations from our server. Shout out to Jett because everything he recommended I loved! Favorite part of the meal was the short rib and carrot hummus and the cheddar scallion biscuits. I liked it so much I actually thought of ordering some to go. Menu has so many options to choose from, it caters to many types of palettes. My bevy, the Blackberry Cooler, was refreshing. My friend got the non alcoholic version and said it was too tart. Only disappointment of the night was they ran out of the brown butter cake. The banana caramel cake was still a good substitution. Plenty of parking but do recommend to make a reservation to avoid long wait times. Cant wait to come back and enjoy a happy hour.

The atmosphere is unique, charming, relaxing, and welcoming. Katherine, the executive manager takes great care of you as a guest. She sets the pace, working with her staff to insure a great experience. She is visable and mingling with her guests. Then there is Nick, our server today, that greats you very kindly and welcomes you with a warm smile. He answers all your questions and made a couple of recommendations as this was our first time here. His recommendations were well recieved and turned out to be what we expected, they were great. I got the meatloaf, sounds like big deal. But let me tell you, this is a great tasting dish. Well balanced flavor and seasoning. My wife had the chicken & Amish noodles over mashed potatoes and it was delicious as well. Then Nick suggested dessert, recommended the Chefs Christie's Famous Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie | A La Mode. This is unlike any cinnamon roll you have ever had. It was delicious. We split that and I think my wife got more of it than I did. Oh well. Like I said this wasn't just eating out at a nice restaurant, this was a great dining experience to tell your friends about.

Books everywhere, the menus are literally books, there's this big community table in the middle plus booths if you want your own space. But the real shocker... the girls actually tried the tea and liked it I fully expected faces and complaints but nope. We did order a grilled cheese and a burger just to be safe and both were solid. Also tried an espresso martini for the first time and yeah I get the hype now, it was really good. And our server was so sweet, super patient, explained the teas, made suggestions without being pushy.
