I like to give nail salons a few tries before giving a review. I give them a 2 star - positive stars for cleanliness, kind and helpful staff, and great atmosphere. My complaints are: -they don't honor appointment times, both times I made an appt I still had to wait over 45 minutes. They accept too many walk-ins, and it interferes with appts. -BOTH times I got my nails done, 1 gel polish time, 1 dip powder time I had a nail edge start coming off within a few days. -the gel didn't last a week -the dip powder was too thick and uneven shaped even when I asked to thin it and match shape. -I had 8 dip nails fall off or lift on the edges within less than 10 days, 2 in the first week. I always have pretty amazing experiences here but today I went and asked for monochromatic pearl nails and came out with exactly that. Jack did such an amazing job on them and really took his time to make them look how I wanted. Not only was the service perfect but that environment could not be more welcoming. Ladies...Run Spent 3.5 hours getting my nails done and still left with something I didn't like :/ I'm never picky but this was a nightmare. I showed the first lady doing my nails a reference photo of square nails with a pink French tip. Unfortunately she didn't understand what I was asking for as she continued to do something different by either dipping my whole nails in pink or giving me coffin shape, she would also file my nails down so much to where I could feel the heat of the file almost hitting my skin. I politely tried asking her to change the nails which caused her to yank my arm and huff at me. A little while later my sisters started to laugh because they saw the nails and what she was doing everytime I asked politely to change it. Eventually the owner walked by and snapped at the nail tech, to which she looked at me and said "sorry I can't do this" and left. Another lady eventually took over. I showed the the same photo and once again it didn't end up right. It looked somewhat better but the polish washed off 2 days later :/ paid $70 dollars for 3 hours and nails that I didn't like :( read more

I gave them a few different go arounds, even brought two of my daughters in for sets. This last time was exactly THAT.... the last time. The most insulting part was them CLEARLY making fun of me. I brought it up and of course they denied, but then laughed again. I have been searching for a good nail place for a year. Now this. The one that did my nails didn't even completely finish... Disappointed. I'm new to Texas and we are settling. I've been to this salon 2 times. The first time was great. The second time I called on Friday morning and asked for a 1pm appointment. They took my name and said there was an available appointment at that time. THEY DO NOT CARE OR HONOR APPOINTMENTS. I waited so long for a fill/pedi I was only able to get a pedicure and continued to wait for a fill and I had to leave based on other commitments. I made an appointment on purpose. When I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment no one asked my name, no individual was scheduled for my mani or pedi and I was just put in a cue with everyone else. I have been coming to Beverly Years for over a year now. I have been to many, many nail salons in my lifetime. This one, is by far, the absolute best! Every single person works here is so accommodating and helpful. My favorite technician is Dao. Is an absolute gem. Always wanting to make sure you get what you want and are happy with. She spends over an hour on my SNS nails, doing an incredibly meticulous job. In addition, the salon is gorgeous and the sweet staff always make sure you have water, wine, or a frozen margarita in hand. This place is magic!!!! read more

Don't really write reviews but this was necessary. Went in to get my nails done and showed the lady the reference pic. (The orange nails). Showed her this pic and she said okay, she decided to use powder to dip my nails so she could get the color more bright since orange is a hard color to get when using gel. Let me just say that the dipping was so uneven, the line on my nail looked so squiggly and some were thicker than others. I told her I didn't like it and if she could remove it. She then proceeded to tell me that she should've told me at the beginning that the powder for the certain color I wanted was hard to get neat lines. She suggested white since it would be more cleaner, and I said that was fine. Now my problem is how does the nail shape that I showed you look anything to what she did. If my husband who is a man noticed that they looked 'chunky' and 'thick' before I said anything then it's a problem. I am planning on returning to have them re-do my nails or get a refund. read more

Horrible pedicures! Not worth my money or time. I was here several times with my wife to get pedicures and every time was a disappointment. We gave them 3 chances since it's the closest spot next to our house. Sadly, all 3 times they kept messing up. Last week I was there the lady who did my pedicure kept scratching me with her long nails and digging them to my skin. She was talking to her co workers in their language which made me very uncomfortable. When I told her that she is scratching me, she kept smiling at me and not do anything about it as if she didn't understand me. I didn't want to be disrespectful and get up in the middle of my pedicure. So I kept waiting for her to finish instead of enjoying it. We won't ever be going back to this spot again. Customer service is horrible too in this place with some real bad attitude. read more

I rarely write reviews, but I have been getting my nails and pedicures done at Beverly Nails for several months now. This salon consistently does not disappoint. I have sensitive, thin nails, and I I get little anxious that the file down of the SNS wIll be very uncomfortable or painful (because it often is). Tommy has never done this- he is awesome. Jack is amazing as well. My nails always look fantastic! You can't go wrong with either of these guys. Today, I had an amazing pedicure as well- the massage was incredible. This is not the first bad manicure I have had from here but the first time I am leaving a review. It's very hit or miss. I normally get gel or dip but I never get a good manicure when I get those services so I decided to get a regular manicure. The service was completely rushed through. I had color left on my skin and had to ask for my hang nails to be trimmed more. My cuticles were a complete mess. Needless to say it looks like it did this myself. I expressed my concerns with the quality of my manicure and was told that there was nothing they could do. I paid, left and will never be coming back. read more

Not COVID careful. I've been to this salon 3 times now. I was happy with the services the first two times, but the last time I felt very uncomfortable about their COVID practices. I didn't think about it at first because I had been there a couple of times since COVID and this time when I got there I was just thinking about what color I was going to get. Here was my experience: 1. No one asked me to wash or sanitize my hands when I came in and I didn't remember until I was already seated and flipping through the colors (the ones other customers looked at right after me). This is especially unsafe for the staff who would be touching my hands but also for other customers in the shop. If they didn't remind me, do they remind anyone? I commented when I realized it but Tina had already started removing old color and didn't seem concerned. 2. They seated me at the one station that didn't have a plastic shield. There were at least 5 or six empty stations available that had shields. Again, I didn't think about it until she had started. I realized I felt exposed but didn't realize why until I looked around at the other stations with shields and noticed there wasn't one between me and Tina. 3. She wasn't wearing her mask over her nose. It didn't fit right. I (very politely) asked her to make sure her mask was pulled up a couple of times during the 45 minutes I was face to face with her but it kept slipping down. At one point, she stepped away to cough and get a throat lozenge/cough drop. She did move over 6 feet away to take off her mask to do it. I asked her if she was ok and she said yes, just a tickle in her throat. Probably true, I thought, but what if it's COVID with no other symptoms? Or, since I hadn't washed my hands before she started working on them, what if I (unknowingly) had it and then she used her hands to put the lozenge in her mouth and got it from me? I feel like we're in the home stretch with this whole COVID thing now that the vaccine is rolling out, but there's a huge spike in cases right now. It's the worst it's ever been, so its not the time for a business to stop being careful. At my office we still stop people at the door to check temps and ask screening questions then direct them straight to the sink to wash or give hand sanitizer before conducting any business. Although Beverly nail salon techs did a great job with my nails every time I've come, I probably won't be back. The owners/managers should care more about their clients' (and staff's) health than rushing them into the chairs. read more

This place is HORRIBLE the first time I went there my nails were so thick and when i spoke up about it the man would just make excuses saying that's how they look,,, um no. Today i decided to give it another chance and the man doing my nails this time overlayed my whole cuticle with acrylic and the application was so bad so uneven and thick i asked him if you could redo it and he was so aggressive and so rude. I cant speak on their ability to do dip nails- seems like thats what they do "best"? I got a gel mani and woah...its bad. When the woman was filing my nails she wasnt even looking at them! She was more concerned with what her colleges were talking about and getting a word in. The work its self is shotty. Uneven color, bubbled, color not on the whole nail on all nails and color all over my fingers. I dont think she was certified to do nails... Very nice inside. I enjoyed their pedicure. However, their set up for manicures I find strange. You sit in a large conference style U shape table in a chair that doesn't fit underneath, so you have to sit an awkward distance from the table and lean over to get your nails done. Super strange. No one came check on me or to tell me how much longer offer me a drink or anything. I looked at the the lady and she tells me oh just 3 more minutes. Guy did GREAT on my pedicure, but they were really scattered and not organized at all. They had me make an appt, but when I got there they just treated us as a walk-in. We were helped right away, but they had no idea that we wanted manicures as well and we told them multiple times which means we didn't get to pick out our colors for our nails. I showed a picture to the manicurist of exactly what I wanted and he assured me he could do it. Nothing fancy, just some nails with glitter and some nails with a straight glittery line down the middle.. I let him know I wanted something bright, but both times I suggested a bright color for my nails, he told me no, that a softer color would be best. Once he was "finished" I was left with a single thin crooked line down my ring fingers only, and that's it. When I asked him about the rest of my fingers, he said he thought that's all I wanted, even though I showed him the picture that shows each finger with a design/covered in glitter, several times. On top of that, he was on his cell phone the entire time. He was talking on his cell and watching videos... the entire time. The first time I went to him, I told him I wanted an oval shape and ended up with square nails.. I'm not sure if he just doesn't care about what the customer wants or has in mind or what, but this isn't it. This is now the third time I have made an appointment and when I arrive they can't see me for another hour because they decided to take walk-ins instead of their appointments trying to squeeze everyone in which I get however your appointment should come first. Arrived 15 minutes early for a scheduled appointment. I let them know that I was there for my appointment and would be picking out my powder and gel colors. I don't think they paid attention to what I was saying because they were busy. I watched as they quickly started services on walk-ins. Again, I checked in at the front desk a second time and was finally escorted to a pedicure chair where they ran water. I put my feet in as instructed. I waited till the water ran cold and still my services did not get started. After being there for 45 minutes, I finally got up and left. If they were so busy that they made the decision to give my appointment to a walk-in or were just severely behind schedule, they should have had the decency to call and tell me.
