Teen facials can also reduce the risk of scarring from acne. A professional Esthetician can safely extract blemishes without causing inflammation or scarring. As we all know, the skin of teenagers tends to have different problems than mature skin. Some experience acne breakouts, while some may even have eczema. Thing One's appointment was set for 4:40 PM. However, Angelique spent 2 hours of Thing One's face (wow). Not only did Angelique get his extractions done but also waxed his brows and provided tips for clean and healthy skin. Further this facial included a thorough skin analysis, and skin exfoliation using ultrasonic exfoliation to loosen surface dry cells. Steam was also included to soften the pores, which allowed for the manual extractions done safely so as not to harm the integrity of the skin. A customized mask appropriate for Thing One's skin type was applied as a last step. When the facial was complete, Thing One's face was glowing and pristine. The care shown in this appointment was above and beyond. I do intend to bring Thing One back at four month intervals for regular maintenance. #bewellcentraltexas

I saw Angelique typically every month for a year, and decided to go somewhere else for personal reasons. Pros: 1. Angelique is very experienced and knowledgable about skincare and what is good for the skin. She works with care and precision. 2. Product line, Glymed, is, in my humble opinion, a good line, has helped me a lot. I purchased the products from Angelique and sometimes on my own, depenending when I would next see her. 3. Hours and availability are good, including late afternoons and weekends. Sometimes Angelique would come in, to accommodate my somewhat erratic work schedule. 4. Facials were very relaxing, and sometimes I did waxing and eyebrow tinting which was also excellent. Cons: Not many, just a couple of things I learned along the way. 1. Sometimes the facials took 2-2.5 hours. I wondered why they were so long, but I didn't think to question it. In NY, where I'm from, they were either 1 or 1.5 hours. 2. It was confusing because several times Angelique "threw in" services, such as waxing. One day, however, she said "I'm going to wax your nose". It was painful, and I assumed it was "thrown in" because other times waxing was. I was surprised, however, at the end when I was charged about $19 extra. Had I known, I NEVER WOULD HAVE AGREED TO THIS. 3. There is a "boundary issue" whereby sometimes I was there so long, and then told "I'm throwing in this or that". Let's be CLEAR WITH PEOPLE. I don't want to hear about your love life, etc while I'm having a facial. Let's talk light, and maybe ask about the client you are servicing. In addition, prices weren't cheap, espefinally things were "added on", and now the prices have sky rocketed to prices ($185.00) for a facial which is as much as a medical spa (which it is not).
