This salon is clean and well run. They offer beverages during your visit. The staff are friendly and kind. Eddie is my favorite. He does an excellent job with builder gel and is extremely detailed. I tried the Lush pedicure and it was great as a special treat, but a little out of my range for my regular service. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others. A basic gel manicure and pedicure took THREE HOURS, which is completely unacceptable. There was no urgency, no efficiency, and no respect for my time. Even worse -- my gel manicure started chipping within TWO DAYS. That defeats the entire purpose of getting gel, especially when I was preparing for a vacation and needed something that would last. When I contacted the salon, their response was incredibly disappointing. My options were to come back in (which I don't have time for) or receive a discount for a future visit -- as if I would trust them again after this. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed the polish... which was chosen by the nail tech, not me. That says everything about their level of accountability. Between the excessive service time, poor quality, and dismissive customer service, this was a complete waste of time and money -- I won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. read more

We wanted to go get pedicures for our 4yo daughter for the first time. She had the best experience! My wife and I had a good experience. We purchased the same package however my wife's leg massage experience was the opposite of mine. She had the most relaxing massage and mine was more of a rapid rub down. But the rest was great! Do double check what package you pick bc they tried to up charge us for gels when I specifically said No to gels! They made it right by charging what I requested even though the technician did gels that we did not ask for(especially when I specifically said NO GEL) Greeting was great, walk ins was great, drinks were great.... This was my first time to L'ami Nail Lounge in Georgetown and the service and experience was simply amazing and the outcome was outstanding! First, the interior decor of the nail salon is super elegant and exquisite: modern, pristine and tasteful. The space is very clean and the staff was very friendly and accommodating as I walked in an hour before they closed without an appointment and they gladly welcomed me in, promptly seated me & offered me a complementary beverage of choice, which was a nice unexpected touch. Shortly after my arrival I was greeted by a very sweet and accommodating nail technician named Hannah, who did an amazing job on my nails, in fact my nails turned out better than I could have envisioned! I typically ask for very, very short, coffin-shapes nails, with gel French tip nails and gem embellishments on my fingers, which can be a challenge to master and Hannah nailed my vision better than expected! (no pun intended) I am so happy with the outcome. It's been two weeks since I got my nails done & The gem embellishments Hannah securely glued to my acrylic nail set are still all secured in place! Hannah did a meticulous job ensuring each gem was glued securely and took her time on each nail. Hannah was gracious enough to stay well after closing time to complete my nails, she didn't rush and was pleasant and accommodating the whole time. When you make an appointment there should be a tech available even if you don't know the tech's name because it's your first time to this salon. Also the technician shouldn't be so worried about their commissions. I will NEVER go back. They must have enough clients that they don't need new ones. read more

I loved my services at L'ami! It's a new salon near my home. When I first walked in, I felt transported to Beverly Hills! They went to great lengths to create a beautiful, relaxing environment, and hit a bullseye! I had the Expression pedi & eyebrow waxing. Eric did a wonderful job! And his leg massage was top notch! Everything. Came in with the issue on my nails and they didn't seem to care did not do anything to make it right. Looked at me like I was I don't know. It's like she looked right past me. I asked for another appointment. She said they were busy and couldn't take me that day so she said in a couple of days they'll have one open. They take walk-ins, but I think because I brought up this issue they want to do business with me. Really pisses me off because my very first time there was the best experience and the best nails I've ever had. The second time was the worst Nail experience I've ever had. They didn't even last two weeks. The total for my Bill petty in the nails is $185. I see the replies from the owner are saying thank you for bringing this to our attention and we really appreciate that you let us know. However, the owner doesn't do anything about it. Stay away from these people. Had high hopes as they are very close to me. It seems like the reviews are either fantastic or really bad so it looks like there picking and choosing who they wanna work with based on if they like you or not. Not a good business model. I was told there were no more openings for a few days however, a friend of mine called and made an appointment for me for the next day. So don't tell me that they weren't lying. read more

I've been going to L'ami Nail Lounge since they opened. I have enjoyed their nail techs, however, today was the first time they charged me $20.00 for shaping my nails that already had the same shape, $20.00 for gel, which I know is extra, but I walked out after me and my 3 yr old granddaughter had our pedi/mani for close to $250.00. Please be cautious of all their addon fees. Unfortunately, I'll be looking elsewhere. When they say on the higher spectrum, not worth the money, unfortunately. read more

The staff is unfriendly. We were greeted very rudely. I had my best friend here who had flown in the night before. I wanted to treat her to a fun relaxing experience to start our vacation. If you ask for changes it's a very big ordeal. I requested to have my nails and pedicure done at the same time. They weren't busy at all. Lots of staff sitting in chairs. They agreed and started the process. I then told them I wanted a manicure and not gel manicure to give my nails a brake. She brought the manager over and proceeded to clean up all her tools and told me she could not do the manicure at the same time. It was very off putting. L'ami is by far the best nail salon I've been to, and I've been to several nail places across California and even a handful in Nevada. If you're going for a pedicure, make sure you give the Golden Silk Pedicure a shot. Don't let the $85 price steer you away--it is worth every penny and then some. L'ami also by far has the largest color and style collection I've EVER seen. You may want to get there an extra ten minutes early just to make sure you have time to pick a color, especially if you have decision paralysis. read more

To enjoy our anniversary day date, My husband and I went looking for a salon to get pedicures.They said it was no trouble at all to be a walk in couple and offered a variety of beverages to enjoy while we got our services. The atmosphere was clean, quiet, and friendly. very ZEN. The techs were funny asking my cowboy husband if he wanted his polish to match mine. When my husband suggested I get my nails done too- that wasn't a problem. A very sweet lady did them in record timing. My nails lasted 4 weeks! That nail set was the perfect length, width, & thickness. The polish job was impecable. I have been back 2x now & this is my new go to salon. I wanted to love this place due to its location, but that is not at all how I feel after one terrible experience. I called ahead and set an appointment for mani/pedi. Yet I still waited approx. 30 minutes to -strike 1. Next I pick a color for a pedi and my tech tells me the color is "too LIGHT for me?" She brought other selections that she felt would complement my skin tone better. Okay...but then she makes sure to show me the timer a few times so I see I get my full massage. It was a little awkward. Next the tech grabbed my foot and placed black flip flops on and put my shoes in a bag as we walked to the nail area for my mani. The pedi took 1.5 hours...strike 2. As I'm waiting, another tech stands behind me and leans down to say "I can't let you leave with those shoes on my feet. They don't BELONG to you..." I ask him what that means as the tech placed these flip flops on my feet - I've never been there before, so I assumed these were the flip flops this salon used??? He repeats that "they belong to another CUSTOMER!" No apology- just an assumption made that I have something that doesn't belong to me. I quickly took them off and took my shoes out of the bag that my tech put them in. I saw the employees behind the counter discussing the matter so I felt immediately uncomfortable and humiliated. I asked to cancel my mani and to pay for my services. They proceed to charge full price for the mani and never offered an APOLOGY until I finally expressed my displeasure. They still charged full price but since there was now a longer line behind me they quickly stuffed a card in an envelope and rushed me out. I appreciate your "10 % OFF" a future service, but I'm pretty sure I won't be back to use it. Please get your salon in order and value your customers time better. A genuine apology goes further than a 10% off coupon. read more
