I regret having to write this review, as I generally prefer to leave positive feedback and I have been a polite, loyal, and generous customer here. Unfortunately, my recent experiences at Beverly Nail Salon have left me feeling singled out and treated differently in a way that is deeply troubling. Over multiple visits, I noticed a consistent difference in how I was treated compared to other customers. Basic courtesies that were routinely extended to others--such as a greeting upon entering, the ability to make an appointment, and the offer of a complimentary beverage--were not extended to me. I observed these same courtesies being offered to other customers during the same visits. I am respectful, pleasant, low-maintenance, and I tip very well. I do not cause disruption, nor have I ever been anything but appreciative of the service providers themselves. When I respectfully raised my concern and expressed that I simply wanted to be treated the same as other customers, the situation unfortunately escalated rather than improved. I was later declined the ability to make an appointment altogether, something I had always been allowed to do prior to speaking up. It pains me to even consider the reason for this difference in treatment, but based on my observations, the only noticeable distinction between myself and those who were consistently treated with kindness and respect was race. This is not an accusation I make lightly, and I have never felt the need to raise race as a factor in service before. However, after repeated experiences and respectful attempts to address the issue directly, I can no longer ignore the pattern. I shared with management that I would be speaking publicly about my experience, not out of spite, but in hopes that it would encourage reflection and improvement. I truly hope the owner and management take this feedback seriously and work toward ensuring all customers are treated equitably and professionally. I will be taking my business--and my tipping--elsewhere. No customer should feel uncomfortable or unwelcome for simply asking to be treated the same as others. read more

Told my friend and I as walk-ins for pedicures it would be a 15-20 minute wait, which was fine. After waiting longer than this we watched several other walk-ins be taken back to pedicure chairs. We finally spoke up and were taken back to two chairs that were clearly not ready for use. After waiting again yet another 10 minutes we decided to leave and got nice service at Lavish Nails. read more

I went to Beverly Nails today because my nails were in sad shape and I really wanted a nail salon fairly close to my new house. The place is really quite pretty inside with new furniture and nice floral arrangements. They offered me a beverage of my choice. I had just had an argument with my gps in my car so I chose wine and I sat to have my nails done. Phoebe did a most awesome job on my nails and the wax I requested. The place was quite busy and everyone seemed happy. I know I have found my new nail salon. read more

Second time coming as part of my search for a new nail salon closer to where I now live. First time was fine though it was very loud in the back room. But this second time, I saw the good, the bad, and the rudeness! I didn't mind the long service time for a pedicure as I was waiting out the 5pm traffic. I did have an issue with 3 nicks on my left foot and 2 sore spots on the other. To top it off, I went to the restroom afterwards only to find the rude blonde front desk person waiting for me right outside the door! I've been coming to this salon for almost a year now, and while I've always been happy with my nail sets, there is one major issue that makes the experience unpleasant. The front desk lady (blonde hair) is consistently rude, aggressive, and disrespectful, creating a hostile environment the moment you walk in. I wanted to give it time to improve, but unfortunately, it has only gotten worse. Initially, I thought maybe the owner or management wasn't aware since they might not be in the salon every day, but after reading other reviews, it's clear this is a known issue. Customer service, kindness, and empathy are just as important as quality nails, and this area desperately needs attention and training. I've given this place several chances since it's the closest to my house, but unfortunately the service has consistently been mediocre at best. The pedicures are overpriced, and the massages are always disappointing. Today was the final straw. I paid extra for the higher-end package, hoping for a better experience, but instead received about fifteen minutes of someone lightly rubbing lotion on my skin with zero pressure. It didn't feel like a massage at all. I work full-time and was looking for real relief, but left more frustrated than when I arrived. On top of that, the callus removal lasted maybe five seconds and accomplished nothing--again, because no pressure was applied. While the pedicure itself looks fine, that's not why I come here. I'm paying for the experience, and every visit has been subpar. I also can't help but feel that less effort is put into my services because I appear younger. On multiple occasions, staff have assumed I'm a teenager, which is unprofessional and frustrating. If you're looking for quality service and a relaxing experience, I recommend spending your money elsewhere. read more

I've been coming here since they opened. I've only had a handful of bad experiences so I shook it off and kept coming. I went yesterday and had the absolute worst yet. I got a dip black nail manicure where my manicurist not only cut my finger and was bleeding but also did such a sloppy job there was black dip ALL OVER my fingers. Half my nails were barely covered with the polish. I asked her to clean it up and cover the portions not covered to which she did an even sloppier job. Another nail tech noticed I was a bit frustrated and tried to fix it but after seeing how bad of a job the prior tech did she immediately tried to get me to pay and leave and did not fix any of it!!!!!!!!!! Not to mention I also paid the 15 more for shellac toe polish for my pedicure and when I got home I saw it was completed messed up. i went there to get a dip refill they over charged me and come to find out they charged my friend over 90 dollars for fake nails that were very short their prices are not consistent and i haven't even had my nails on for a week and a half and my nail underneath is lifting and the clear top coat is coming off which caused a piece of the nail to completely pop off i also had my pinky nail crack in half and i am having to put nail glue in the crack just so it won't pull my hair HORRIBLE DO NOT GO HERE read more

There's always great service and so far everything's been worth the price! I called on my way there and asked if they would have time do to a full set and that I would be there in about 10min. When I arrived, I told the lady that greeted me that I had just called about getting a full set. She had me sit down at the table and shortly after the tech came over asked me what shape of nails I wanted and the color etc. She started pushing back my cuticles and filing my nails, but then the tech called the manager over, they had a side convo and the manager looks at me and says, "okay I will have to find someone else to do your nails" I was very confused at this point. I ended up sitting there for about 20minutes with no further communication from the manager and no new tech doing my nails, so I got up and left. I'm super disappointed with the lack of communication and overall experience tonight at Beverly Nail Salon. I don't recommend. People call it the place for ultimate relaxation. Yes my pedi was good, but it was not worth the price tag. My dip nails were the worst in quality I've ever received. The dip itself started chipping on my nail 3 days post mani. My nail didn't chip - the actual color. I don't know if it's the quality or not enough layers. I also didn't have the time to come back and get a solution to what I consider an issue. When I carve out mani pedi time, I normally don't have another open time slot in my calendar for a good little while. I'm SO upset about my experience at Beverly. I have been coming to this salon off and on for quite some time (I don't always have my nails done) and have usually had decent experiences. I went in today to get a dip set with my daughter. The nail tech I had (Thuy) was very rushed and was not very careful. She cut/burned me with her drill three times because she was too focused on what other people were doing in the pedicure room. I originally wanted solid pink dip with an accent nail in white glitter. I saw the tech's nails which were pink & white and they looked pretty so I decided to do traditional pink & white dip powder instead. She told me she would paint the white on "because it's better like that" with gel paint. I told her I did NOT want the tips painted because they chip off and look bad after a week, and I do a lot of typing at work. I explicitly told her I wanted POWDER not gel paint. She ignored me and did not do the tips in powder. I questioned her and she said "no, I told you I would paint it." Then I told her that I said I didn't want it painted and she slapped my hand and said "no! I told you I would paint, it's better that way." I pointed out to her FOUR TIMES that my nails were uneven, lumpy and too pointed. I even point blank asked her if she could file them to be more even and rounded. After the 4th time I gave up asking her to fix them because she just made them worse each time she tried to fix them. Then she painted the tips with white gel and they look pretty TERRIBLE. The tips are all different widths and the paint is lumpy in some areas and thin in others. One nail has a white streak going through it where she wiped the white paint off but didn't clean the nail properly. I have paint on my fingers where she smeared paint and didn't clean it off. My nails are also all different lengths, none of them are even and she didn't check them during the process. The dip powder is super chunky and they feel & look clunky. I complained when I checked out and they told me they could take it off and do it again (the French tip), but I didn't have time to do that (not to mention they close at 5 and it was 5 when I finished!). Their solution? They didn't charge me the $10 French tip design fee. For what it's worth Kymy did my daughter's nails and they are absolutely perfect. She's done my nails before and they were fantastic, but after the way the front desk person handled the situation and the nail tech acted about my nails, I'm not going back. I'll find another salon that will at the very least LISTEN and give me what I ask for. Absolute waste of time and money. read more

I went to Beverly Nails today, because my usual nail salon was closed.. Upon arrival everyone was so nice and the place is beautiful. Definitely a 5 star for looks. I was really excited to get my nails filled and enjoy the gorgeous ambiance. Unfortunately, things did not go as expected. My nail tech deeply cut by nail and nail bed and cuticle with the drill. And did not even bother to clean it off and immediately put nail glue on the wound. He immediately said out, "IM SO SORRY. I'm so sorry." I didn't know what he was referring to until I saw my nail. It was gushing blood and full of nail shavings and glue. I got up to wash it, and it continued to bleed. He never cleaned his tools, nor did he have on gloves. Now that I'm writing this... IM REALIZING HOW UNSANITARY THIS WAS. I'm not sure what the right move was... should I have left? Should I have screamed. I don't know. I think i went into shock. I just sat there and continued the service. As we continued the pain got worse, but i was too deep in the service i wasn't sure what to do. I definitely should have just left. Kicking myself now. Fast forward to me checking out and the attendant gasped at how bad my finger looked. She immediately started wincing and said "I'm so sorry" "this was your first time here" "um, I'll give you a discount" she proceeded to give me 20% off of $60 ..... $60 for a FILLLLLLL! I WAS SHOCKED... AGAIN.... it's an additional $5 for the shape you choose. What actual FLIP.... So sad this was my experience today. read more

We recently made an appointment for mani/pedis but it will most likely be our last. I gave 2 stars because I did not wait and received a decent polishing. However, we were not pleased with the service overall. I got seated for MY manicure right away. My husband had to wait - through my whole manicure. We were supposed to be done together. Yet we watched several people seated after us. Secondly, we both sat the whole visit with no offer for a beverage. Lastly, my manicure was done in record time- $40 for a 15 minute gel manicure? We canceled our pedis and went to another local salon. We made appointments to ensure we got the attention we'd pay for. In the end, we felt like an inconvenience. This was my first trip here, I requested gel pedicure and I was so excited to see my technician was a familiar face, Rachel was my technician when she worked another Spa. I instantly knew I was in for an amazing pedicure. The leg massage had me so relaxed I was almost asleep. Her attention to detail is like no other. Tommy was my manicure technician and this young man was serious about his work, he was gentle and knew how to properly use the drill during removal of my previous polish. Best nail salon ever!!!! The shop is tastefully, even beautifully decorated, as can be seen in the photographs. They are always busy, but never too busy to be uncaring of the customer needs. The women who work there are very good, especially at "dipping" and coloring the nails. The pedicures are professional and I always look and feel great when I leave. You are offered comfortable seating and a soft drink or wine to enjoy while your mani/pedi is being applied. The entire area is very clean and the staff consistently makes sure Covid protocols are followed. Restrooms are spacious and clean also. I've given this place so many chances and could write a novel but; Pros, beautiful atmosphere, 2-3 really talented people who shape your nails beautifully without cutting you and without making the dip so chunky it's looks like I painted clear glue all over my nails. I seem to always get cut. I am super sweet to them and always tip well, even if I'm not pleased with the service because it is what it is but one lady really crossed the line last time I was there. Apparently I've been branded picky because I want what I ask for. They are very inconsistent with shaping and technique. I am usually great at communicating; this one is a little too long, this one a little too short, this one has a weird bump on the side but it gets old because how can the nail technician not see that the blatantly crooked nail? I think it's just a bit of burn out as the people here work very hard. What was completely unacceptable was the lady that was supposed to do my nails made a scene bumping the girl that came after me ahead of me because I left for 10 seconds to wash my hands. She then proceeded to say to Helen, who ended up doing my nails, "lucky you", "aren't you lucky", "it's you're lucky day". It was obvious that she was thankful she didn't have to do my nails which I graciously shrugged off as that lady having a mini melt down. She must've said it 15 times, to a point where I just had to stare at her & kill her with kindness until she stopped because I was not about to make an uncomfortable situation worse. I would've left if my nails weren't in such terrible shape but I was totally desperate. I told her I wanted my nails trimmed and she cut them down to nubs. At that point it was too late to say anything, so I just made the best of a very uncomfortable situation. I considered asking the owner for my money back but the owner is cheap, disrespectful & never takes responsibility for her behavior, her business and her staff. I genuinely love many of the ladies here, but caring for them as individuals versus needing them to provide a quality service, are 2 different things. I have driven all over greater Austin so I can safely say most places are much worse. I've found my favorite nail tech way out by Lake Travis so I can officially say I'm done with this place. It's also important to note that owner was not there that day and that's good because she makes me feel very uncomfortable. She barks orders, doesn't respect her staff or clients which creates a toxic work environment that's has the opposite effect of the spa vibes I seek. It appears she has a massive ego and she could stand to work on herself. The staff needs to be trained to shape better, to have better technique because either my nails look thick and gross or they are so thin they break days later. I've been going here since they opened & am so tired on wasting hundreds if not thousands of dollars on subpar service over the years. Good luck. read more

I definitely recommend this spot for pedicures! They're pedi prices are really great in my opinion (classic pedi is around $35, I feel like that's awesome)! They have a huge menu of different services they offer for pedis as well, and it's always a relaxing experience! They don't have a ton of chairs for manicures, but they always seem to have room for pedicures! They also offer a variety of drinks (alc and non alc), and the staff is always so nice and accommodating. This place can get really crowded so try to go on a weekday, or earlier in the day on a weekend! But they're just THAT good! read more

Absolutely terrible. I went here yesterday i originally wanted a French tip so I asked the price and they said it was $85 which was crazy to me. I ended up getting just a wine red and the lady was in a hurry rushing every step she didn't cut my cuticle, she left my nails thick , she left my right hand super crooked and didn't ask me how long I wanted them she just cut them to whatever length she wanted, she cut my skin and the cut has been stinging all day. I called in the morning to let them know and they said I could come in so they could do a soak off and a redo for no cost. Once I arrived here the lady who did my nails came at me aggressively saying it's my fault because she told me chrome was $15 more which I didn't understand what the point in that was because I didn't get chrome , and that she cut them short because I would've had to pay $3 more if I wanted them longer which I wouldn't of had minded paying but she never asked me how long or let me know the price. when I told her about how she cut me she responded with " accidents happen " she said she was going to get the manger , I don't know who the manger is but another lady came up to me and said if I want they will do a soak off , and then a full set for 15% off.
