This was my very first wax! She did such a great job and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend to others to see her!

Love it here! She does such great work and is so patient and kind. She really makes this process as pleasant as it could possibly be.

Johanna was very patient and kind. She was very informative about her products and the wax she uses. I have fair skin and have had bad results with waxing in the past at another facility. Johanna reassured me that she would be gentle and that products have changed and improved since then. She also gave me tips on what I could do if problems were to arise, although she did not anticipate any. I immediately felt comfortable and at ease with Johanna. I was not embarrassed or shy. (Having a Brazilian can be uncomfortable at times.) But Johanna and I talked the entire time. It was like we were old friends just catching up over a coochie wax. I was prepared for this procedure to take 30 min to an hour. But I was in and out in 15 minutes. SWEAR! I am SO pleased with the results - and so is he ;) ;) (I'd show pictures, but that's not really appropriate for Yelp.) Anyway, I WILL definitely be back, not only for my downstairs kitty cat grooming, but for my brows, my underarms, and might even try having the legs done. Shaving is such a hassle! read more

Sweet Waxology - Brazilian Flag because I can't show you my Brazilian wax ;) - Waxing Near Me - Round Rock, Texas

This was my first time getting waxed in quite a long time, and it was great! Johanna was so sweet and kind, which was great for being nervous about a Brazilian! I was a little jumpy, but thats more me than her. She was gentle, thorough, and made absolutely sure that I was happy with my results. Works quickly, but doesn't sacrifice the quality of her work in the process. Very clean and sanitary, used a new spatula for every strip of wax she used. She also opts to forgo using muslin strips, which this hippie tree-hugger loves. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Johanna! read more

Amazing service! I was at the Salons at University Oaks getting my hair colored and trimmed. I thought it would be super convenient if I could get a wax done the same day. I pulled up the website for Sweet Waxology and BOOM made an appointment! I felt like it was my lucky day! Convenient and easy way to schedule appointments. When I arrived to the suite, I was so happy to get an appointment I let Johanna know. Her suite is so posh! I definitely felt like I was in a boutique. She explained the process and I was ready to try getting my eyebrows tinted. Why not since I've been so curious about the process! My eyebrows were so bushy! Thanks to the pandemic I was overdue on getting threaded I decided to get waxed. I wanted to go to a professional place to get it done. I'm so glad I did. She made my eyebrows look wonderful and the wax process was easy. My eyebrows are tinted and look natural. I am looking forward to returning! She was super sweet and did a great job. read more

Great experience. I will be back. Very professional and private. My eyebrows look beautiful.

I scheduled an appointment for eyebrow shaping/wax for my young daughter about 2 weeks in advance via the website and they had plenty of times available the Saturday after Thanksgiving. I called a few days after I scheduled the appointment and left a message asking if they had an appointment available sooner (the Saturday before), but if not, we could just leave it as is. I never heard back, but I'm assuming it's because she didn't have anything available. I noticed that there was no option to cancel or reschedule on the website or from the email confirmation, which was disappointing. The day before the appointment I received a text confirmation and it gave an option to cancel. I was also worried about being able to find the suite once I got to the building, but on the last confirmation email, it gave instructions on where to turn when you walk in, so that was helpful. It was my daughter's first time to get waxed and the waxologist was really nice and made us comfortable. I told her I just wanted her brows cleaned up and not much taken off, and thankfully she was conservative with the wax. My daughter really likes her new eyebrows. My only complaint is the inability to reschedule or cancel easily. Since I had to give my credit card to reserve the appt, it's concerning that I might not receive a call back if I ever need to cancel or reschedule, and then might get charged for it. But I will return to her in the future and hopefully won't need to reschedule. read more

Omgoodness, today was my first time ever getting a Brazilian wax. I was so nervous. I can't believe how awesome it went and how comfortable Johanna made me feel. I think I laughed through most of it. I had been dreading doing this for years because of being sensitive snd just scared of the pain. It isn't nearly as bad as I played it out in my head. I would like to think Johanna had a lot to do with that. She made it so comfortable and talked me through the whole process. I'm so pleased with the results. I will definitely be returning. read more

She takes time to get to know her clients and genuinely cares, she always asks me how I'm doing and if there's anything new going on in my life and she makes you so comfortable it's like talking to an old friend. I recommend her to all of my friends. Thank you for all that you do and thank you for making me feel like a goddess every time I leave your salon, I feel like I stand up taller and have impenetrable confidence. I wanted to have a few visits before leaving a review and can honestly say the first visit was incredible and I can say the same for every visit since then. Johanna is a true professional. I've had other eyebrow wax experiences that were either painful, left burns or were incomplete. Johanna's have always been perfect. Her technique and products make for almost no pain. I use her for eyebrow wax and tinting and it makes a huge difference. She is just the nicest person with an adorable personality. Now if my brows could only look like hers.........! p.s. I didn't realize I was on my husband's Yelp account when I wrote my review. He will be surprised to know he likes eyebrow waxing-LOL read more

Johanna is amazing! Not only does she have a great personality, but she's extremely talented in what she does. I've not once in my life have gotten my eyebrows shaped the way I wanted. Looking at the reviews on Yelp, I was hoping Johanna will finally be the one. And yes, she is the one. I got my eyebrows shaped and tinted by her. It was my first time doing a tint, and she was completely understanding on how worried I was and gave me great suggestions. Since my eyebrows were always butchered, I didn't know how I wanted them, so I let Johanna decide. Best decision ever. I loved the way she chose to wax my eyebrows. Johanna uses a hard wax too, which is amazing! I will definitely be seeing Johanna often. (Side note: I live in Belton, but that won't stop me from driving almost an hour to this lady.) read more

Johanna is absolutely amazing. I usually don't leave reviews, but she made my first experience with waxing so comfortable and easy. Going in, I was a nervous wreck which I'm sure she could tell. She talked me down and distracted me so well during the process that it only felt like a couple of minutes. It's so hard to find a good esthetician, especially one who genuinely cares about her clients and makes them feel comfortable. Seeing that the results from my wax 3 weeks in are still beautiful, I will definitely be returning! read more

Genuinely the best underarm waxing I've ever had. Johanna insured that she got every hair and asked me to check both while on the table and once I stood up and could check in the mirror. I've been getting Brazilians for over 7 years so I know when i come in contact with a good waxer. Johanna is very skilled! I have my go to salon but I wanted to lay off strip waxing for a while and go back to hard wax. I spent over a month reading every review on Google & yelp on many salons and spas. Sweet waxology had the most positive reviews and there was a link to Groupon. The reviews there were all positive as well, so i decided to give it a try. Booking was easy and her salon is very clean. She is really sweet and knows her work. My wax came out great! She suggested a product for ingrowns and I am beyond glad she did! It's been 2 weeks of using it and I have definitely seen an improvement in my skin! She's awesome! Need a quick, fairly painless Braz? Book with her! read more

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous! Johanna is incredible, the facility is extremely clean and the process is very sanitary. Recently moved nearby and was on the lookout for a new wax place. Found Johanna at sweet Waxology because of her amazing reviews! She quickly puts you at ease, she's fast and makes it pretty painless! Not to mention she's super easy to talk to the entire time! Typically, I only write reviews if it was bad but I think with the type of service this is, it's especially important. What really appealed to me is that she is the only one providing the services. With these type of services, consistency is key. It makes the experience a little more personable too as she has a brand to protect rather than going to a place where there is high turnover. I would totally recommend and I will be back when it's time. read more

Hands down the best eyebrow shaping and tint I've ever had! Johanna did an amazing job!
