I have never had a Brazilian and decided to check this place out after seeing so many good reviews on Yelp. And to be honest, Myndee is the absolute best. She first checked for the hair length to make sure it's appropriate for the session. She also comforted me and walked me through each step in the process. Had my eyelashes lifted and tinted for the first time. Amazing results! I recently tried getting extensions but found out my eyes are too sensitive to the glue. So I was told by a cousin to try getting a lift since it's your actual lashes only and last longer than extensions. Found Myndee by searching on Yelp and was not disappointed. I have been coming to Myndee (the owner) for almost a year now and I have no intentions of going anywhere else. I came across her by chance to be honest. I ended up meeting her by chance when it was a different Spa. I had never gotten my "area" waxed before, let alone a Brazilian. My friend had me booked somewhere else but we ended up not making it on time cause it was so far from where I lived. I googled for another location and hoped I could find a place that would take a walk in. Most places I had looked up and called in for require you to make an appointment. So long story short, I told her what I needed to get done (the urgency to get it done was due to the fact that at this point I was chickening out to even get it done at all...), she told me it was fine and that I could walk in and I would be accommodated. I got there fairly fast since this place was only ten or fifteen minutes away depending on traffic from my house. Its located inside Phoenix Salon Suites, which is basically a bunch of suites that offer different services. I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles. That's when I met Myndee. I was asked to fill out a form about allergies and whatever else was needed. Once all that was taken care of I told Myndee that it was my first time, and that I was pretty nervous. Which she stated was normal I mean, it is my "area" after all. She proceeded and took me into a room, the ambience was great. There was music, clean linen, and to top it off, I was allowed to vape. That helped calm me more and kept my mind off what was going to happen. She then gave me a cleansing cloth and numbing gel and took me to bathroom to prepare, which I did. After five or so minutes, it was time...Myndee could tell I was nervous, not to mention embarrassed, she assured me about how that was a common thing, and that eventually it would hurt less. She helped put me more at ease by telling me about her first time and other people's experiences. When she knew I was ready, she started. And low and behold, it was not anywhere near as bad as I thought it would be. She was very thorough, she made sure I was ready before every single time she would wax a section off. And when she was finished, it looked amazing! I have to admit, it boosted my confidence. I continued to see Myndee every time for waxing or sugaring, so when she opened up Dare To Be Bare, I was excited! Its a great feeling to know I have someone who has worked with me for quite some time now and knows me pretty well to know what is good for me and what I need. Her work space is clean and sanitized. Always smells great in her room, she is always considerate enough to ask what kind of music you feel like listening to. Even though she has music, its way more fun to talk to her. She offers you beverages and has a variety of products too. Booking an appointment is always easy, you can call in or just book one online. Some people ask how much I spend, usually to be "Completely Bare" its like around $55, plus I add a big tip (Myndee is so awesome she deserves it)! So like I said, I met Myndee by chance and was so lucky I did. Myndee is amazing. She is very sweet and professional. She is also very considerate, she reminds me about my appointments, that's a huge deal to me since I'm so busy sometimes. I went to Myndee for a Brazilian sugaring session that I had purchased via Groupon. It was easy to schedule with her using her online schedule on Vagaro. When I arrived, Myndee was friendly and pleasant and was ready to see me. She invited me in, had me fill out a quick new client paperwork, and explained the Brazilian sugaring procedure to me. She helped me to feel comfortable and relaxed and was professional throughout the appointment. I have never waxed or sugared my bikini area before so I was looking for someone that was good with first timers. I was super anxious and nervous because I heard it hurts a lot. Myndee was super sweet and really helped me get through the process. She talks you through it and let's you know when she's going to pull the sugar up and away. She masters in the art of spray tanning and facials and works with the fastest sugar waxer I've ever experienced. Came here about a week or two ago and meant to write this review earlier. Anyway, set up my appointment with Myndee last minute and was able to make appointment online. She had an opening for that day and decided to give it a try! I went to her for Brazilian. I had never been sugared down there before, but had been waxed. She offers both services, it's just your preference. I decided to go with the sugar since I had never tried before and when I did have it on my eyebrows, it didn't hurt. Well she gave me some numbing cream which was nice, wish the places that I had been to before for wax had thought of this nice gesture. She explained to me the process and I'm not gonna lie, getting hair removed for a Brazilian well is not a relaxing process. For my first time and if I am to compare to waxing, sugaring was more pleasant. Not only that, but Myndee does a very thorough job. She wants you to leave feeling good and satisfied. You can tell by her service and results at the end. I will definitely be back to see her. The grow back is better than my experience with wax, the day after or shock of my goods was less shocking or traumatic for me and just trust you are in good hands with Myndee. It has been approx almost 2 weeks since seeing her and I prob have another two weeks or maybe three till I need or should be back. That's awesome! She also has a stamp card for her clients for when they come in, get a stamp and work towards discount or free service?
