No, no, and no. I recently had a manicure and pedicure here, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing. From the moment I walked in, there was a strong push to upgrade to gel. The cleanliness also raised concerns -- the foot grater was taken directly from a tray and did not appear to be properly cleaned or sanitized. Following my manicure and dip treatment, two of my fingers became visibly irritated and appeared to be infected. While my nail tech was kind, the overall sanitation practices and outcome were unacceptable. I cannot recommend this salon, and I will not be returning. read more

I called and made an appointment for 3 people, in that service included 3 pedicures and 2 acrylic sets. 20 minutes before the appointment the spa called and asked if I could come back an hour after my scheduled appointment, I could not because the two other people I was going with had things to do/go to work and would not have time to do those things and we had already left to go. If you don't have people to do the service then don't accept the appointment. We get there at 3pm when I scheduled the appointment, the two other people I booked for got their pedicures started after sitting in the water for 30 minutes, then I got my pedicure after sitting in the water over an hour. The pedicure felt super rushed and made my skin break out on my legs because they didn't give us the option for the exfoliation, I have a skin sensitivity to orange. They were rough with my friends feet and caused her foot to cut open and left a mark. We asked if we'd be done by 5pm because my friend had work and needed to go to work at 6pm, they assured us we'd be done by 5pm and would be able to go by then. By this time our pedicures were done around 5pm, we still hadn't gotten acrylics. They only had one girl doing acrylic so I told my friend who needed to go to work after this to go first, she gets her nails done and they looked beautiful. I ended up leaving at 6:40pm, so 3 hours and 40 minutes I was at this spa. Then I get to get my nails done, and we discussed that I had my engagement shoot the next day and that's what these nails are for. She cut me on my ring and middle finger, that would be in the pictures. The shape is fine but the nails are lumpy all around and bulky, and I have cuts on my fingers. I'm disappointed because I had come here previously for a pedicure with my fiancé and we were treated great, but that was not the case this time. read more

I got a pedicure and manicure along with my mom. The lady who did my moms pedi , gave her feet a good massage. The lady who did mine was just pretending to massage while really not doing any press at all. I love this new nail place that I just discovered! I will be back here for sure! Parking is tough during the holidays but after the holidays it gets easier to find! I walked in to see how affordable it was and without hesitation she told me a great price! This is not a place that likes to nickel and dime you and they are extremely sweet! My nail lady asked if I wanted a pedicure and I told her no because I have not shaved and she replied with "I don't care!" So I got one lol Hey! I've been going here for over 5 years for both nails and eye brow waxing. The staff are so kind and always do a great job. The salon is clean and they offer you a beverage which is super nice. Great selection of colors and they have saved many a broken nail for me. I want to be sure to note that (as with all spa services) you can't blame the technician if you don't like something they do and you say nothing about it. The techs here love when you communicate with them bc they genuinely want you to leave happy. They are a small operation and do get overwhelmed sometimes with walk ins so I always recommend making a reservation. read more

Have had nails for over 10 years and this was the worst experience during a nail visit I've ever had. Hannah was rude and very rough!! She cut my skin with the drill and it bled and said nothing. She then kept telling me to relax my hands. ( See pic of cut) The reason I was tense is bc she was so rough with the filing and drill. It burned the whole time. I also noticed a split in the nail, and went to show her and she yelled no, no. I also wasn't asked if I wanted new set( usually they do new set every time) she just said no need but the price was the same as if I got a new set. At the end she said you got what you want, design wise yes but experience was awful. This is the first time I almost didn't tip. Will never go back. She needs to work on her demeanor and not be so rough and hurt the client. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE: I was visiting Austin for a day and decided to treat myself. I called first to confirm if an appointment was needed or not and the lady told me to just come in. I was only the second customer there at that time and requested a mani and pedi. I showed the nail tech what I wanted as far as my nails goes. The Nail tech (possibly Owner) stated she could do the design.. A Simple Oval shaped French tip nails with Color. I had to continuously remind her how I felt about the way the nails were shaped on my hands and she kept saying to wait until the end.. I should've denied her services when I started to feel like she was rushing and not being thorough with her work. I am paying for services and I would expect them to be worthy of the price. But NO! I AM beyond FRUSTRATED with the work and quality that was put into this. There's dips in my nails, my nails are too bulky for my handsize, and the design isn't neat. I kept telling the Nail Tech that you can see the acrylic nail and it looked tacky and she did nothing to fix it, except proceed to work on the next customer that was waiting. read more

Had a manicure and pedicure on Saturday at I spa East Sheen. Within 24 hours 4 of my finger nails had chipped . Having paid £43 for this service I went back to I spa to complain. There was no time to re do the nails as I waslast minute Xmas shopping and asked for a refund. The assistant was rude and unprofessional and started to laugh which was extremely intimidating. Her excuse was that as I had not used the Shellac nail polish then this was likely to happen!!! To add insult to injury she then gave me £12 back for an £18 manicure stating that zI had only paid £43 instead of £49 for the manicure and pedicure. This should have meant a reduction of £3 on each service and I should have been refunded £15 for the manicure. The shop was full of customers and I had been made to feel really embarrassed so for the sake of £3 I left the shop There are several other nail salons in the area which I would use in future!! read more

I would not recommend this place. I had a shellac mani pedi and instead of finishing hard and strong, it is gummy and started peeling a day after application. The foot bath did not look clean and the plastic wrapper didn't stay put. The lady poked the bottom of the wrapper to start the drain while my feet were submerged, totally negating the protection of the wrapper. I am used to the nail techs talking to you and not around you. It was all I could to get through the session. They were not full, I was the only one in the whole place at lunch on a Friday. If you walk down about 800ft, there is a nail place that is packed! ( I should have just waited at the other place) I do not recommend this shop at all. read more

Yesterday I had my nails done at a different place. I showed them a photo of how Id like my nails to look and the lady went on to pick the corresponding colors. I asked for gel, she did SNS. Im not a fan of sns. The colors looked like an antique carpet. I was so appalled that I walked out crying. So started my search for a different shop. Im from California so I am use to Gel builder. Texas seams to not have nor use anything but SNS. So I had to go Acrylic with Gel colors vs this SNS stuff. I am in no way saying that sns is bad at all, I personally just do not care for it. Im use to gel builder with gel polish and thats what I like. My nail lady was Holly. She took her time and she did a natural nail with the acrylic. Which simply means that the acrylic is done much thinner than usual. Im what you would call the high maintenance customer. I don't go for just one color and sometimes I add design to the multiple color theme I have picked. She didn't rush my nails. She didn't rush the polish she almost studied it. Examined them if you will. Made sure each one matched the other perfectly. This is something I highly appreciate. I chose almond shape. I usually get coffin. I chose to try a new shape because no one can ever get the coffin shape proper. She did one nail in that shape and prior to doing the rest of them she asked if I liked it. In which I did. She still after shaping made sure each nail was the same length and the same shape. Words can not express how grateful I am for this woman and her drive for perfection! I have found my new nail spot and will continue to visit only her. I look forward to my next visit in two weeks! read more

I have been to MANY salons around town, gotten services for 20+ years. I am also a licensed massage therapist. This is my favorite place. Hannah is an eyelash artist. She's crazy fast, careful with the application, they last for 3+ weeks, and at such a fair price compared to other places around Austin! I am very picky with my pedicures - that said, always 10/10 here. They remove all of the dead skin - bust out the cheese grater every time! An insane selection of gel colors. The massage is awesome. Scrubs, dips, etc. - great selection of services. The manicures and nail extensions/dips are just as good as the pedicures. Perfect application, attention to detail, and artistry! An insane amount of colors to choose from. The customer service is always good here, always feel cared for. I have brought my kids here as well and they were happy with their experiences. If I could give them a negative review I would. They barely spoke to me. I went in for a pedi/gel manicure. The girl who began my pedicure cut me multiple times and was hurting me so bad. She made me bleed on multiple occasions and rushed the whole process. The other girl began doing my nails the same time I was getting my toes done. She also was rushing the whole process and did not even allow me to complete dry time. And they are cut and filed horribly. I cannot believe I paid them $70. Super disappointed. I was referred to this nail salon, I decided to try them out even though I'm very loyal to Fancy Nails. My boyfriend and I went in and both had a pedicure and manicure, I also had SNS applied. It hasn't even been a week and my nails are all cracked, they put the SNS over my cuticle and it essentially made them all lift on the edges. I DO NOT recommend visiting this salon for either a manicure or pedicure. My nails on my toes also are all bubbled, and look totally terrible. I spent over $100 for my boyfriend and I and within a few hours I had already gone back for issues with my nails not being right. I won't be going here again and plan on stopping by to show them all of the issues. Lesson learned, if it ain't broke don't fix it. I will be continuing to go to Fancy Nails. Also, I've already had to use my nail file to get rid of the sharp edges where the SNS was over my cuticle. read more

Everyone here is extremely friendly and welcoming. For some reason, when you type iSpa into Google, it takes you to another salon in the same shopping center, Spa Pro.
