The staff were incredibly friendly and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. My nail tech paid so much attention to detail--he really took his time shaping my nails perfectly and made sure the polish was flawless. I showed her a design I wanted, and he absolutely nailed it (even better than the picture!). Everything felt hygienic and professional, which is super important to me. Prices are fair and comparable to other nail salons, perhaps slightly cheaper because it came out to 95 with a hot wax pedicure and dip nails. Service was great and quick. Very disappointed with the quality of nails and health. First off my nail tech nail was bleeding while she was doing my nails. Very unsanitary and not safe practice. The tools they used came from an open bag. Disgusting. ( her blood was getting on the cotton swab and getting on my nails) The entire manicure was horrid. I paid $140 for this crap? I would avoid this place as they are extremely pricey, do an awful job in prep work and have no customer service. They tried charging me $90 for French tips! That's so insane to me for a REFILL. $90 for an acrylic refill and French tip design on my natural nails. I came in with my nails already shaped and long and they charged me $10 extra for that. They didn't even put extensions on except for one nail. The pedicure was basic and simple so I don't know why it was $15 more than their cheapest one. The manicure was sloppy and rushed. Tracy was my manicurist who tried to charge me $90. She had no prep work and nicked my fingers making them bleed and burn. No clean up work to clean off the acrylic dust or underneath the nail and no hand massage. I ended up paying $45 for an acrylic refill, $5 for my length, $5 for shape, $8 basic French tip, $8 for a nail repair (one of my nails needed an extension). $45 for a basic pedicure (happy feet) with an additional $18 for gel polish and another $8 for French tips. I paid around $140 for acrylics refill and gel pedicure. read more

make sure you ask them very clearly how much everything cost my daughter just went up there and was charged $231 for a French tip, pedicure and manicure. When I called, they said she picked the top of the line everything. That was their excuse. My daughter has been there before and she thought she was just doing what she always does. Plus her nails are average looking not even great. It just takes one time to feel like you've been taken advantage of to not go back again. And my daughter tipped very high despite this $38 tip. Terrible customer service and poor quality. I chose a color from their gel polish basket. There was no indication that the gel was different from the rest, however after they put on the first coat, they said they were charging me extra because "it looks like chrome". It's not chrome, there was no chrome powder involved and no extra effort required beyond standard gel. I told them it was ridiculous to add on fees mid-session because the polish was shiny. They were so caught up in the $10 that the customer service went out the window. I was cut multiple times, and scratched during the foot massage. They ended up not charging the extra $10, but I left upset with poorly done nails and stinging nail beds. The attempt to add extra fees was irritating, but I was mainly upset in the quality and customer service given I was already paying about $180 before tax. read more

I saw the reviews and photos and had high hopes. I asked for a pedicure and dip nails. I was told 15 minutes but waited about 30 minutes with no attention. When someone did come back up front I asked how much longer and still waited about 5 more minutes. When I did get back to the pedicure chair apparently they pre fill the pedicure bowls so I had to ask to have mine emptied and refilled because it was cold. I got a deluxe pedicure that was lacking the massage so I had to ask my nail tech to massage instead of rub. The "hot stones" were sitting out for a good length of time so once it was time to use them they were not hot at all. I did like the selection of polish and price point but I had to ask for a beverage that was supposed to come with my pedicure and I left with rough heels and just an okay pedicure. I would have liked more attention paid to the process instead of how many clients they can get in and out. I felt rushed for sure. read more

I've been coming here off and on for years but it always bothered me that I never knew what price I would get when I got up to the register. I always get dip manicures and gel pedicures and it was always a different price. They throw in additional charges like crazy here. The employees never tell you when something will raise the price. They do a good job on your nails and the interior is very nice but there's just too much competition in the area. I switched over to Bliss Nail Bar on 620 because of their price transparency. The nail tech writes all the prices on a mini clipboard at the table. Getting your nails done is expensive enough without dealing with constant shady up-charging. read more

Tracy was a nightmare. 1) she made 3 of my fingers bleed but kept going and said "I have neosporin, don't worry" 2) my manicure (my own nails, no spa manicure, no massage, just nails) was $80. 3) took 2 hours bc while she was doing my nails, she was doing a hundred other things - answering the phone, greeting guests, helping other manicurists, omg! 4) design looked good, but she does the dip nails super thin, and one of them cracked today. I have been to this place about 6 to 8 times and each time the service has been inconsistent. They offer drinks to some people - but others they don't. I went for a Mani-pedi combo with an appointment on March 13th, 2021 at noon - The technician did an incredibly rushed job. Polish didn't even cover the full nail. I did mention it but it was ignored. Polish didn't even last for more than 3 days. For pedi, no dead cells were taken off - Quite horrid job. For $60+ expense - service and results are sloppy and after giving it repeated chances I won't be coming here again. Plus if you are not selecting their more expensive service they look down and rush you. No thank you. After seeing the person who gave review right below me - it was clear that the inconsistency I speak of is so true. Her massage was 30 minutes for deluxe - Mine has never and I mean all those 8 times never exceeded 10 max. Plus they did not take my temperature as sometimes they do apparently. Inconsistent in all aspects. After reading couple of more reviews - it is my observation that this place is racist or discriminatory at the least towards people who are not white. They acknowledge and give the good service to selective clients but not consistent to all. read more

I recently moved to Austin and was looking for a new nail place, so I decided to try out Paradise since it was close to where I live and had really good reviews. I made a reservation for a dip manicure and regular pedicure, I'll rate each separately. Pedicure: Really really pleased with the whole pedicure experience! They provided me a menu so there was no issue of overpaying for services I don't want, and it was very clear what I was looking for in terms of services. I decided to go with the Deluxe pedicure, which is like level 2 of services and includes the massage. My pedicurist did a fantastic job, was very thorough and detailed, and really pampered me. My feet are baby smooth and my polish is immaculate (even after I stubbed my toe and ruined it- which she fixed no problem!) 10/10 Dip manicure: Okay, so... I scheduled a dip manicure, and, well, I got the dip. Didn't get the manicure. Midway through the service, before she was about to apply the dip powder, I asked if there was going to be a manicure. The nail tech explained no, and if I wanted to get my cuticles clipped it was separate. I said yes, I want that. And then never got it. I am not sure if there was a communication issue, but I was pretty disappointed that I never received the actual manicure, for the $45 price I paid. The dip itself was done meticulously, with the highest level of attention to detail, and exactly the nail shape I asked for. I asked for a glittery gold leaf on one of my nails, and she definitely delivered. Overall really pleased with how well my nails came out. One small qualm I had was that she didn't clean up under my nails (all the dried excess of dip powder that had hardened), and I had to ask for her to clean it out. 7/10 Overall: Pretty happy with my experience at paradise, and will likely return for the pedicures. I'll probably keep looking for a different place to do my dip manicure though, since the manicure portion is really important to me when I get my nails done. read more

This was my first time going to this nail salon - huge mistake. Strike 1 - I walked in and the receptionist didn't even acknowledge the fact that I had just came in. Not a simple hi, how can we help you or anything... Strike 2 - Someone walked in maybe 2 minutes AFTER me and she instantly greets them and asks how she can help them. Strike 3 - She then got an attitude when I informed her that I had walked in prior to the other girl who she was helping and she said "WELL I DIDNT SEE YOU WALK IN, WHAT DID YOU N..." (not even an apology if she truly didn't "see me") Strike 4 - I sit down because she says it'll be about 15 minutes... but then she called the girl who came in AFTER me. I love this place! I got a giftcard for my birthday because my family thought I needed to de-stress, and their pedicure choices are excellent! I got a deep sea de-stress package with gel polish. It came with dead skin removal, a mint sea leg mask, steam towels, massage stones, and a lovely oil treatment. Only cost me 50$, thats including the gel! I do really like Tracy. She is an amazing nail tech. However, the Gel X nails I had put on keep coming off. She is kind and replaced the ones that fell off 3... and did not charge me. Unfortunately - I had to go back as yet another fell off yesterday. Tracy was not there. The owner put on a new nail. I had no idea what the color number was but I knew the packaging! She just put the whole entire basket of colors and said I had to pick and it is impossible to match. She did NOT even try to help me. Seemed bothered by me even asking. So the color does not match. Anyway- I felt like she hated having to do it/ I asked her do you like doing nails?? She said she had Been doing them for 20 years.... But feels like she doesn't care and I asked her how much I owed and she said 8.... I went to check out and she charged me 1.75 credit card fee!! I just don't think that her attitude and man we make me want to go back - as much as I like Tracy and fully recommend her.
