Wow! Where do I start?! I have been wanting to do microblading on my brows for almost a year and have put it off.. It was a rainy day in the lone star state and I was doing what any civilized human would do... Waste hours on Instagram... Stumbled across Jenna's studio here in Georgetown and checked out her before and after pics. Felt super comfortable with choosing her to basically tattoo my face.. That's a big deal! Called her and she got me right in for a free consultation. Her shop is super easy to find and close to I35 so don't freak out when you hear it's located in BFE Georgetown. It's literally a 10 min drive from Round Rock.. Make the drive. It's worth it. Her little studio is super quaint and clean. Jenna is very responsive and professional. Without her telling me her background in brows, I already knew this wasn't her first rodeo... She's been doing brows for 5 years and basically is a damn expert. She drew some brows on me in less than a minute that were absolutely stunning... Just call me JLo.. I felt super comfy at the consultation so booked my appt with her for the whole shabang! She was pretty booked but was able to work her schedule and get me in. She also has online booking so you don't actually have to talk to humans anymore than you want to... You know what I mean... At the consul, Jenna will go over all the deets for the procedure and give you a goodie bag with numbing gel and post procedure care and answer any questions you may have. She is very thorough and patient. Appt Day! Jenna was there waiting for my arrival and I did some minor paperwork.. Asked me if I wanted anything to drink, if the temp was ok, if I had a music preference... Can you say 'girl crush' ?? Did I mention she is absolutely stunning? Especially her brows?! Who wudda thunk? Right here in Gtown?! I got numbed some more, before pics, brow approval, color choice and she got to work. Appt took approx 2 hours and I peed 100 times so factor that in... ;) Pain level on a scale from 1-10... 2-3... I could tell when the numbing gel was wearing off.. Jenna constantly checked on my pain level and made sure I was comfy the whole time... She stopped after her work so I could check the mirror and approve. I left there feeling great and confident that my brows were going to look amazing after all the healing! I will post my updates along the way after my second appt and follow up with my end results. Go see Jenna if you want to stop having boring brows.... After researching her prove is super fair. I don't jump on deals when it involves my face, I will pay more for talent and experience... Jenna has both at a fair price. I am a licensed medical master esthetician. I have had my own spas and worked at several high end spas in Austin, Texas. I am very cautious when it comes to sanitation and proper procedures. Jenna is not aware of this. She gets an A+ in my book. I will refer her and continue to go back to Jenna for all my brow needs. She will give you suggestions how to improve the product that you receive. For instance she will tell me that for the first couple of days you should not wet your eyes and that you shouldn't go exercise right after you have the extensions as too much moisture might make them fall off sooner. Microblading Nightmare- where do I begin??? Could the artist just have had a bad day???? What do you think? With uneven eye brows, different shapes on each and way too dark!!! After researching Microblading I trusted this artist with her profession! However when she barely measured when she drew them on way too dark she assured me to trust her she is a artist a professional! Well after the procedure this is my Microblading! A nightmare! I couldn't take pictures and I had to hide from everyone! She charged me over $500 for Microblading/shading that I now have to pay over $2000 to correct!!! Aswell as the pain to endure & the timing or process to heal to be able to have them re done! Now after the procedure was done I even brought to her attention my concerns & worry right after the procedure! Her words was wait the 4 weeks for your touch up!!!! So here are pics posted of the Microblading she done about a month ago then another pic with my sun glasses on that you can clearly see are in even! This was on day 1 of Microblading ! As well as they are way too dark and different shapes! Oh & her only method of measurement on me was with a flat wooden stick similar to a corn dig stick ! Then the other pic is what my bloody eyebrows look like for me getting her art of Microblading removed! As for consultations she could have given me 0 or 25 of them but it doesn't matter it's what the end result was. Please do your research thoroughly even if you have to pay $1000 for Microblading it's worth it! Remember this is your face & you are worth it!
