My nails turned out alright in the end, but I noticed that during my time here that staff consistently had trouble following directions. I am not sure if that was due to a language barrier or not. I asked for a gel mani/pedi and wanted ombré nails for my manicure and French tips for my pedicure. They said my nails were too short to do a three color ombré so I was to pick out two colors to do an ombré. However, when the manicurist arrived she said she can only do one color, that ombré isn't an option for me. That's fine, I wanted my nails to turn out good and staff to be comfortable so I didn't mind doing a single color. The first red flag was when the manicurist cut the cuticle on my thumb too short and made me bleed. The manicurist also asked how I wanted my nails shaped and I replied round. She shaped them square with rounded edges. Then, when she started painting my nails, I told her I had wanted color 212 (a warm pink) and she painted them the wrong color, a bubblegum pink. Looking back, I should have pointed at the color I wanted so there were no questions about it. However, this was my first time here and I didn't expect such a bad experience with such high review ratings. Another shortcoming was my French tip pedicure, they didn't ask if I wanted a base (like a light pink) on my toenails, they just did a clear coat on my nail and painted a French tip on top of it. I showed her a picture of what I wanted with a light pink base but she didn't really give it a good look. However, the lady that did my pedicure put a lot of effort into it and was super sweet. I didn't get good vibes from the manicurist, she rushed through it and didn't talk to me at all. I feel a lot of the shortcomings I experienced were communication issues aside from my bleeding cuticle. A big plus was that they did my mani and pedi at the same time, which made my stop there quick. I was charged $100 for the experience; they had massage pedicure chairs and offered me water. I doubt I will return, still on the hunt for a solid, consistent place to get my nails done. read more

I use to come here and enjoyed there service but after today I will not return, I asked which service included parafin wax and the girl pointed to the second expensive pedicure. So I agreed, well it wasn't included because right before mail painting I said are you not doing parafin wax and she was like no, it's not part of package, I said you said it was, i literally asked for package with that. She wasn't apologetic and even had the audacity to say for $$$ more you can add it. Like what kind of service. They even did half ass job on massage and finished quickly while my friend who had the same package had a 20 min longer massage. Today they didn't offer any water or beverages. I stopped in on a whim because it is nearby to get a pedicure and to get my gel manicure taken off. I was very pleasantly surprised. I came in on a Sunday afternoon, no appointment, and i was luckily taken immediately! The salon is very nice inside and the staff is super friendly. My pedicure was amazing, i got a deluxe pedicure and they used hot stones for the massage, it was so nice and relaxing!! This is one of my fav places to stop in when I'm in the pflugerville/Hutto area. It's always clean, bright and staff are so friendly. I don't think I've ever had to wait for services and they have a large amount of different colors and products to choose from, previously they did offer drinks and they still might but I wasn't offered this trip and no one else had a beverage either. I was not put off by this at all and wasn't worried about it, only making note in case that's a reason or something someone is expecting, they may want to call and ask. Prices are comparable and I can do nails and pedicure and walk out under $100 which is always preferable for spoiling myself. read more

I went there and had my nails done yesterday by Christina and she was absolutely awesome! She listened to exactly what I wanted and my nails came out perfect I'm so happy because most places don't listen and I end up having to go home and file them myself. She was also super awesome because that night I went home and broke two of my nails making dinner. I came in the next day and she fixed both of them for free. She's super sweet and super awesome at what she does I highly recommend you go see Christina. I've also gotten a few pedicures there unfortunately I don't remember the names of the girls who did them but every time they've been super awesome as well. The salon I'd been going to in Cedar Park has shut down, so I've been trying some of the ones closer to Pfl. This is by far the best one yet. Prices seemed a bit lower than their competition, but the service was quite good. The technician was very careful around an ingrown nail that was starting, and took care of it painlessly, and more importantly, bloodlessly! The tech was so rough I have bruises all over my feet and it hurts to wear shoes the next day. My skin was cut three times and when I attempted to pull my foot away the tech clenched on with her finger nails. Update: This nail salon took the time to apologize and make this right. I went back to have everything removed and was waited on by Tiffany. She was nice, gentle (my nails were really sore). She was able to remove the gel from my toes and also shape and re-color the nails. The second experience was much better than the first. Thank you. ------------------------------------------------- I can't explain how disappointed I was in this place. When I arrived I was told the wait was pretty long and to come back at 4:30, I gave my name for both services - pedicure and SNS. I arrive at 4:30, I was lead to a seat for the pedicure. I was asked to select a color. But each time I gave a color number from the sample swatches I was told repeatedly they didn't have the color. We went through 6 colors before I stopped selecting colors. The person use a drill to completely remove the gel from my toes. The regular acetone and foil method was not used. And now that I'm home I can feel the damage on my toes from the continued drilling. A nice lady started to move the SNS from my nails. She added all the acetone and cotton was added. And her drill skills were delicate. Then she said, she forgot she had another appointment and the person doing my pedicure would apply the SNS. I asked if I could wait for her until she was done with the appointment. Mind you...I thought I had an appointment. They said we would see. Then I was told these exact words: 'she don't have time for you'. The acetone and cotton was still on and stayed on my nails for over an hour and started to re-harden, and it was painful to remove. At this point I couldn't take it anymore. I'm not rude. But they can tell I'm irritated. The person who once was doing my nails came over and asked if it was ok that the other girl does my nails. I tell her I was nervous about the drill and didn't feel comfortable, she trying to hold my hand, I pull back. I ended up asking for a natural color. When she asked me which number. I told her 'every time I select a color you tell me you don't have it'. I just wanted to leave. If I didn't have an event last night I would've just walked out. read more

Stumbled upon a local gem today, and happy to say I found a new spot! Clean, not a TV to be found (cannot love this more!), relaxing water features, and classical music softly playing in the background...spa like, indeed! Due to the COVID situation, they are currently appointment only, as to maintain social distancing inside the salon. The front door is locked so that walk-ins don't stumble in, and someone will unlock the door for you upon your arrival. They will scan your forehead with a thermal thermometer and then ask that you wash your hands prior to selecting your polish from the wall. All employees are wearing masks, and you should be, also! Plexiglass shields have been installed at the manicure bar, since you are in closer proximity when receiving those services. Very proud of this business and their efforts to keep things safe, and this is coming from someone who works in healthcare (I am a dental hygienist). Special shout out to Andy, who provided me with perhaps one of the best pedicures I have ever had! Took his time, and was quite meticulous! Salon is pretty, clean, inviting and a pleasure to be in :) I was with Kim, she's super gentle and adorable. Like the nicest person and so sweet. She did a fantastic job on my sns, I love it. My only issue is that I asked for design and she said okay but right before the starts she tells me that it's her first time using rhinestones. K, I can roll with it let's see. Came in needing a decorative stone replaced on my nails. I originally got my nails done in California and one of my decorations fell off. The technician took her time to make sure my replacement stones were going to stay in place, and did everything to ensure my happiness. She was sooo sweet, so helpful. I would of given this more stars if 4 of my nails didn't break within a week because I loved my design. My nails were done super thin, the lady who did my nails it was like her first time doing nails. But because the design I chose, they charged me $60 (the design wasn't that hard, it was just gel with different color on each nail.) They were cute for 3 days, then one nail broke. I was like ok, so I went to my normal salon because its closer, and they fixed me right up. Same day, 2 other nails broke, and next day another nail broke. I have NEVER had nails break so easy like these. I was very unhappy I spent that much for nails to last barely a week. I won't be going back there again. I ended up just taking them all off. I gave this place a second try after the first time I wasn't impressed as the gel was coming off after a week. I gave them another shot, they blew it. Won't be back. read more
