I stopped in out of sheer convenience after leaving H-E-B, needing a simple refill and foil. I brought my own materials and asked three separate times what the price would be. I was quoted $65. That should have been straightforward -- but nothing about this visit was. First, the service itself was shockingly poor. My manicurist didn't bother to trim or clean the cuticles -- something every standard refill includes -- especially when using a drill. The salon is bare-bones already, but skipping basic steps is unacceptable. Then I was told to come back the next day with my blue, yet they still intended to charge me more. Suddenly the price jumped by another $20. That was never discussed or agreed to. When I expressed (rightfully) that the experience didn't match the quoted price or standard service, one of the employees began screaming, panicking, and making unintelligible noises while threatening to call the police -- over what, I still don't know. I never refused payment; in fact, I paid and even tipped. But the behavior was bizarre, unprofessional, and completely unnecessary. There was no attempt to resolve the issue, explain the price changes, or provide adequate service. The work itself was mediocre at best -- you can get better quality for a lower price at the nicer salons literally one mall down. Avoid this place at all costs -- poor technique, inconsistent pricing, zero communication, and the worst customer service I've experienced at any nail salon. read more

It was super easy to book an appointment online for a pedicure! The store was clean and decorated nicely! The service was great. The was very thorough and did an amazing job. I chose the Deluxe which included paraffin wax which was awesome. I think I have found my new place and will be back! read more

I do not know why I decided to give this place a 2nd try. No more!! This place has a poor selection of nail polish. Their polish is old, thick & clumpy. The quality of their service is poor, unfriendly & they do not care about customer service. They use nail clippers from a jumbled mess drawer. Who knows if they were sterilized; I seriously doubt it. They did not paint the sides of my nails! Do not waste your time & money on this place! read more

I went early morning so Kim was able to do my nails as soon as I walked in. Nice and quiet, and clean! She was very nice and did my nails exactly as I wanted. I will definitely come back here. Her salon has all new leather massage chairs that will put you to sleep as you are getting one of her famous relaxing pedicures. The owner and employees are so nice--always happy to help and they do quality work. They have very loyal customers and serve them in the order they arrive. So be prepared that you may have to wait for a little bit if you go during peak times, but know that it's worth it! My last shellac manicure lasted a solid month with zero problems. I'm very happy. I've tried to like this place, I really have. It's close and convenient when I have to go to HEB, which is pretty much all the time. I've had gel nails done here, which were hit and miss. The last time I had a eyebrow wax, all I was asked was "You off today?". Today I walked in and the older lady had an attitude and instead of "how are you, I was asked the same "You off today?" question. Who cares if I'm off or don't work? It feels like an accusation, not a question. Anyway, another customer walks in and the older employee is all super nice, no questions, would you like a drink, etc. What's with the attitude? After another customer sits down, she offers her a drink. As I'm staring at her, she looks at me and asks, "Oh, you want a drink?". Uhhhh, no. Their customer service is good and the nail techs are very sweet. I was happy with my full set ($25 + $8 for length and shape) until a couple of days later my thumb nail broke off while I was putting my pants on. I was a little disappointed but I called and Kim said she'd fix it for no charge and she did. So I'm pretty happy now but I hope it doesn't happen again and I will probably keep coming here because it's so close to my house and the prices are good! Thanks again Kim! read more

There are plenty of other nail places so stay away from this one! My experience was bad from start to finish. I went in for a basic manicure for me and a 9 year old, and the tech relentlessly tried to get me to get pedicures. There was even a point when they turned on the jets and tried to wave me over to the spa chair even tho I'd said no many times. After the manicure started, she continued to try to push a pedicure on me, as well as shellac and eyebrow waxing. While she was pushing unwanted services, the work she was doing on my nails (and the nine year old) was awful. Crooked filing, sticky nail polish that left big globby mounds on my nails, and twice while she was putting a clear top coat, she picked up color from one nail and smeared it onto a nail on a different color. She's had to redo two nails. This is basic stuff. THEN my nails never dried. Never. The fans didn't dry them and I'm pretty sure the lights were not real because there was no difference in the dryness after 15 min, probably also exacerbated by how globby my polish was. I got angry and wanted to leave so I paid for the two manicures (I shouldn't have) and tipped 10 CENTS to show my dissatisfaction, and totalled it at $30.10. I'm normally a 20% minimum tipper. Within the next couple hours the polish was all scraped off from putting my hand in my purse and otherwise just going about life. Then a couple days later I see they have taken for themselves a 10 DOLLAR tip and the total is $40! It took two weeks of calling for them to resolve it. So on top of rude pushy sales tactics and general incompetence, they also steal your money. Please pick another local establishment that deserves your money and will actually give you what you pay for. read more

One of the worst nail salons I've been to, the nail tech made my finger bleed and kept going over it and then the woman that actually painted my nails had a bad attitude and gave me a dirty look on her face, they overcharged me and the table my nails were done on was really sticky, the place was pretty clean but also some of the tools had a bit of grime. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

Went to get a polish change which should be quick and simple. The polish I chose ended up being old and sticky, I should have said something then but I figured they knew what they were doing . Long story short my polish job came out bumpy and sticky. I sat under the dryer for about 15 minutes and it was still tacky. Well I didn't have time for them to do it again so I just asked that they take it off and for a refund. They said they couldn't do a refund. I said I was not leaving without my money. That is when 2 of the workers got in my face and started arguing with me. I am 5 months pregnant and cannot put myself in a stressful situation so I politely told them that I did not want to argue and they could just diffuse the situation by giving me my money back. After minutes of going back and forth and getting nowhere I decided to not continue with this toxic interaction and left the salon with no refund. The whole situation was in bad taste and very unprofessional. I left with the owners phone number so hopefully I will be talking to someone soon. read more
