First time coming to this salon and unfortunately I left feeling really disappointed and embarrassed. I already had acrylic nails and told my nail tech that I wanted to change the shape and color. I gave her the option of either removing them and doing a new set or filing down. She chose to file and fill them. I ended up paying $75 for the service and left a $13 tip, bringing my total to $90. When I left, they asked if I liked my nails and I said yes. I want to be honest about that. I felt pressured and uncomfortable saying that I was unhappy in the moment. Once I got home and had time to really look at them, I noticed several nails were crooked and uneven, some areas near my cuticles looked exposed and the shape and cat eye design were inconsistent. I went back the next day hoping they could be fixed. I explained that I did not think the set could be salvaged and asked if they could please replace the problematic nails and give me a different shape. Anytime I have ever gone back to a salon for a correction, if there was a problematic nail they would remove that nail and replace it completely. My thumb in particular was one of the nails I was concerned about, so I expected that it could simply be replaced. Instead, I was told not to worry and that she could fix them. I also explained that I did not like how uneven the cat eye looked and asked if we could just change it to a solid color. Again I was told no. I asked three separate times about redoing the problematic nails or at least changing the color because I was still unhappy. Instead, the resolution I received was having the nails filed down even more. At that point I felt like everyone was staring at me and I honestly felt ashamed so I stopped asking and just let her continue. My thumb was filed down even more during the correction and it was hurting me. I was told that the nails would grow out in about two days and look better and that I should "save my money" and come back in two weeks. And that she knew what she was talking about because she had been working in nails for 25 years. I left without getting the color change I had asked for. I sat in my car afterward for 30 minutes crying because I felt frustrated, embarrassed and afraid to keep saying I was unhappy after already asking so many times. When I got home, my thumb started bleeding and I ended up removing the acrylic nail myself. I'm plan on removing the whole set. I really wish they had simply replaced that nails when I came back and asked, especially since the purpose of me returning was to have them corrected. I understand that I said I liked them when I was originally asked and I take responsibility for not speaking up immediately. I also understand that nail techs are human and not every set will come out perfectly. That is exactly why I went back and gave the salon an opportunity to correct the problem instead of immediately leaving a negative review. What ultimately disappointed me was how the correction was handled. I tried multiple times to communicate what would make me happy and I did not feel listened to. I wasn't asking for anything extravagant. I just wanted it properly corrected and an even set that I felt comfortable wearing after spending $90. I even said I would be willing to pay extra for a color change if they could just redo the nails and I was told no again. I hate leaving a negative review, but after trying to have the set corrected and then having to remove the painful thumb nail myself when I got home, I felt like I needed to share my experience. read more

I made an appointment but still waited like 30-45 minutes before my technician started working on me. My technician seemed irritated the entire time she was doing my pedicure. It likely depends on the technician because the lady sitting beside me got way better service. The quality of my pedicure was okay; there were some bumps in the nail polish, but it was gel so you couldn't really tell unless you looked closely. I loved the service here! Even though my parents and I were the last customers in the evening and they were closing up, they still treated us with respect, kindness and amazing hospitality . We didn't feel rushed and I got all the services I wanted from Jenni & holly! The area was sanitary as well. I visited GrandLux Nails Spa 12/17/25 for Gel nails. On 12/22 one nail on my right hand began to chip and within the next few days two more nails were chipped and on 12/30 when another nail began peeling, I returned to the shop and respectfully asked them to redo the three chipped/peeling nails. Sunny, the tech who did my nails, came over and apologized for my issue and said she'd be happy to fix my nails if I could wait a short time while she finished her current customer. I said that I would wait, but another employee interrupted and said she would take care of me. She fixed my nails, but she obviously was not happy. She did not talk to me while she was working on my nails, she talked to other techs and pointed when she wanted me to do something. She never apologized. I will return to the shop at least one more time only because my daughter gave me a gift certificate. read more

I asked for marble nails and I got this. I asked again halfway through and he said this is better. I was completely rushed, I understand they were busy but didn't let me even have a minute picking a color. I wanted a gel manicure and I was in and out in 20 mins. (Picture what I got VS what I wanted) It was my first time and I don't think I'll be going back he was so rushed doing my nails I felt so much anxiety when it was suppose to be a time to relax. I called ahead and booked two Grand Lux Pedi's. When we arrived I was greeted by name. They showed us where to pick out our color and we're seated right away. The restrooms were clean and had nice decor. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and chic. Thanh and Julie were so sweet and kind. Our pedicures were amazing and very relaxing. Right when we were seated they offered us our complimentary drinks and popcorn from the menu provided, which we gladly accepted. The Grand Lux Pedi is the one you want, pamper yourself and get the works. This place is worth it; for the people, the atmosphere and all of their services. Couldn't be happier. I went here yesterday with my friend for the first time and we had a really good experience. When we first walked in they were very helpful in answering our questions because we had specific questions about the designs we wanted and if they could do it and etc. they didn't have a gold strip for the design that my friend wanted so she opted for her backup. Both of our nails turned out pretty and I personally really like Nikki who did my nails. She was cool and we had a nice conversation. She didn't make my nails thick which I don't like and she didn't give me a hard time about cutting them short. I usually wear them long but wanted to switch it up for a bit. The drinks were delicious. I had a blue Hawaiian and a mimosa which both were good. We were Alonso offered some popcorn which was a plus because I was so hungry. Our appointment was at 5:30 and we were the last two clients to leave after 7:30. Also, it was a plus that they never made us feel rushed. I will definitely go back again and make an appointment with Nikki for my nails. The pedicure was nice and relaxing. I think the ones outside of the basic are a bit pricey for what is done. As time has gone on and I've gone here more, I'm not as impressed as I was when they first opened. I have taken several of my family here for pedicures. Two people have been cut on two separate occasions. They rush through it and dont do a very good job. I came here for a full set with a friend and the next day one of the nails already popped off. She went back and they redid all of them which was nice but the following day, it popped off again. There are a few good techs there that I'll go to for my toes but if they are busy, I'm leaving. I made it clear I was trying to strengthen and grow out my natural nails (length of my solar nails) and wanted the removal to be VERY general on my real nails. I have been here many times and had good service but today I did not want to be upsold on my service and received the worst manicure I have ever received!! Kelly used the drill on my removal and burned me several times!! She did not try to shape my nails, or care how thin she drilled, or clean up the nail polish after application in any way!!
