Well now I have paper thin toe nails like zero length for anything to be fixed, Veena did acrylic on my feet and she just added and added acrylic until it looked like a literal turtle shell and then called it a day. I went back a week later for removal and the other man working there took 1 hour to be able to remove her horrible work. Blood and paper nails left. She arrived later and he argued with her in their language about the horrible job she did, and she never apologized or even offered to fix it herself. I still had to pay for the pain of the removal. Save yourself the pain and money Don't go here. Don't get serviced by Veena, this isn't fair now I can't wear sandals or even touch my nails they are thin like paper and extremely painful. read more

I hate to say, I'm not a fan. Had family in town so searched yelp for "kids pedicure" since we were taking my niece, this was the first one that came up. Top rated, 62 ratings and amazing nail photos so I have it a shot. For one, I have 3 kids so a pedicure is my escape away from the madness. A pedicure should be a relaxing, pampering experience and this was not. There were two of the employees kids/toddlers running around, knocking on doors, asking people for money, and just being unruly. They were adorable and very sweet but again, I'm paying $35 plus tip to ESCAPE my children and really don't want to have to tolerate others unless they are sitting quietly while their parents work. I would have said something but anytime I tried to ask for something the tech had zero idea what I was saying. I asked for something on the menu and she had to get someone to translate. Secondly my pedicure was not good. The massage was weak, she was massaging parts that don't need massage, like bone, and just going next to the meaty parts. After it was over I looked down to put on my shoes and the paint job was terrible. I asked for the bottle so I could fix it myself and someone else came to do it. Just got home and it still looks like my 5 year old helped me paint my toes. The interior wasn't great, it was dated not really dirty but I wouldn't say it was the cleanest and there was a wind chime that was tangled beyond repair and I couldn't stop looking at it. I'll add 2 of my favorite pedicure places are rundown hole in the walls but they both felt cleaner and better ventilated than this place. The craziest part to me was how busy it was! There were probably 5-6 pedicures happening, 4 manicures in progress and 3 people waiting. I will not go back, you couldn't pay me to return. I feel as if I need a shower and a new pedicure now. Oh annnnnd if searching for a kids chair for a pedicure they DO NOT have one. I still haven't figured out why this was the first result for me. 2 stars because it wasn't the worst experience of my life, just not a place I would ever recommend. read more

I keep forgetting about this spot. They are tucked away in a gasoline station strip mall. I was trying to get in a last minute pedicure and all of the other spots in Hutto were either closed or booked. Not here! They are not as fancy but the pricing is better and I got a really good pedicure. Nobody else was there and they also offer you drinks if you'd like. Took my grandma here for her monthly pedicure and she was blown away by the service she got for the price. I'd like to start by saying I am picky about my nails. I like smooth, not bulky, and all the same shape, nails. I made an appointment but still had to wait when I showed up. I showed the nail tech the a picture of nails they had put on their Instagram. Long Ombré acrylics with glitter. He started off with trimming my natural nails then putting the tips on. Next, he started building the acrylic and once he was down with that he noticed I was really looking at my nails. He asked if I wanted my nails thin and I said yes. He then drilled them and added glitter. The ombré was good, wasn't the best. The shape was okay. The nails had bumps and I had acrylic under my nail. Wish I got a picture of the nails from the side, bulkiness was also a problem. Not a terrible place, but not the best. read more

This is my least favorite nail shop I've been to. I showed the man a picture of what i wanted my nails to look like and the colors were so off. My nails were suppose to be pastel pink with two marble nails and they weren't even close to what i wanted them to look like. It was a waste of $60. My acrylic was also WAY too thick. I never get my nails done but knew I wanted my nails done for my wedding so I came here to try it out. I made an appointment but didn't get serviced until 45 minutes after my set appointment. The man who did my nails was super friendly and did a beautiful job! My nails looked exactly like the picture I showed him - I was thrilled! A few weeks later when it was time for a fill, the salon was closed for vacation so I went to a different salon near by and after she filed off the old color, asked me where I got my nails done before (I did not tell her the name), and gently picked the corner of my acrylic and a chunk flew right off! I was absolutely speechless that I spent $60 (+tip) to have it chip off with a simple flick. Acrylic should never come up or chip - you can get water under it and grow fungus on your nail! For that reason, I will not be back. Beautiful nail work but bad products. read more

I've been thinking about getting SNS with extensions on my real nails for like a month or two but I have been putting it off because my past experiences haven't been that great... Sometimes my nails end up being so thick that SNS just seems pointless... Others they don't get the shape right and my fingers look odd and most times, nobody gets as close to the picture I show them at all and they are always expensive so I thought about it long and hard until I finally decided to go by this place close by. I had THE.BEST.EXPERIENCE.EVER!!!! First, I just walked in and waited less than 5 minutes to get my service going. The ladies that greeted me at the door were very nice and provided me with their color samples for me to look at while waiting. Second, I was really hoping to relax and was happy to find just one other client there and the music was very soothing. Third, I showed my picture of what I wanted to one of the owners and he helped me find the colors in the samples and also mentioned "my colors are not exactly those but they will match very closely" and I was happy with that. He was so good! Paid attention to detail so much so that we had the picture out while he applied the SNS powder so he matched the picture I had. He was so good at explaining why he had to cut only one of my nails and kept my length on the 9 others, which I appreciated! He made sure that the shape was good and even cleaned up my cuticle after the top coat which I had always wondered why no one else has ever done that. He explained why he did matte colors different than other salons and I completely agree with him on that! I think it was about an hour or so for my service and the lowest price I've ever paid for such perfectionism and, most importantly, I MY NAILS!! read more

I was surprised that this place did a better job than the location I was going to in north west Austin (Laque nail salon on lake creek). I paid $30 for shellac manicure and did a great job! I bounced all over & was pretty disappointed w each place I visited. BUT, someone recommended this place & she seemed to be a picky gal, like myself. I obviously let some time in between visits before writing, but I wanted to get a full month of my first set to really see how they held up. Linda is as new to me as I am to her. I know it'll take a few visits before she learns me & my preferences, but she WANTS me to be happy. With what I'm paying, I'd expect her to want a paying customer, a walking billboard to be happy, and she does. She tells me what she recommends, how she can fix something & being a nail addict, I know BS after a few minutes...she's right on w her advice. She's got her technique down, she's thorough & she does use a better quality product. After a full month, and I clean houses on the side, the suckers held UP!! Long, strong & only 1 was beginning to lift! All the other shops is visited, nails looked like shit after 2 weeks. I've been getting my nails done for 20 years, so I know good when I see it & these girls are good. Bedside manner is different. She's a little gruffer than I think some folks are comfortable with, but that does NOT show in her work OR attitude w a customer. * They have LOTS of glitter powders to chose from, and I loved that. I pay more because of the length, which I hate, but you get what you pay for. I'm good w it. * I do wish they had more polish colors for my toes--non-browns, reds & pinks, but I think she'd be open to buying more if I said something. Pedicures are fab. I am going to Jolie Nails for years now. First when Linda owned it, then Louis and now Vanna. Through all the changes of owners their consistency and quality of work has never changed. The pedicures are wonderful, and they have a lot of options. From the basic that gets you in and out in 30 minutes to the full on spa pedicure customized with all the bells and whistles. I usually get the Deluxe and I love it. As for my nails, I am very picky. Not so much with color or design, but with the shape, that they are thin, and durable. I am relatively hard on my nails. Vanna and her husband are both doing a great job and deliver high quality work. They will try their hardest to make sure you are satisfied with your service. Recently moved here from San Diego and have tried 4 places in Pflugerville. I was not impressed with any of them they over charged for the services I got. It was nothing special nails broke and we're really over 100 dollars for a fill and pedi. This place I was referred to by a friend. I loved it. Cheaper for better service. My nails look great and I got a pedi, fill and eyebrow wax for less than the fill and pedi I got at other places. I listened to the take pride in the graduation nails they were doing for young girls. So I normally don't review anything but I feel like if I don't say something it's going to bother me. So I got there yesterday to get a pedicure because I'm constantly on my feet in heels and it seems like a perfect place because it's literally right across the street from my house. So when I get there I'm greeted I sit down show the nail tech a picture of what I would like... i'll go ahead and post that picture first and then what I got was completely different from what I asked. But you know what I try to go ahead and give her the benefit of the doubt I thought to myself maybe she's gonna bring something else out, being in the industry myself I hate it when somebody tries to tell me how to do my job so I just opted to keep quiet and let her do her thing.... big mistake. The color was wrong, which was weird because we both even talked about the color specifically that I wanted and we both agreed that that was the color that was the most similar that would still look good with my skin tone. But she wasn't even trying to pop out with any of the bedazzlement if you will. But you know what she was having trouble filling in a slight bubbling that happened when she placed the color on my right toe so she kept going over and over and over with the nail lacquer. And then she just took off didn't tell me that we were done, didn't say anything like hey we're going to go ahead let this dry just feel free to get up once you know you're ready to go. So I literally sat there for maybe 30 minutes thinking that she was going to bring out stuff to be dazzle my toes with but then she started working on another client and it was pretty clear she was not going to come back so I just grabbed my stuff got up and went to go pay.... paid cash and left a tip. I made sure to have sandals on so I can fully let the paint dry.... 2hrs later I had to go to work and wore closed toed shoes.... well the paint rippled. And that usually happens when the layer on top is dry but the ones underneath or not and keep in mind I said that's right ladies and gents 2hrs after my pedi.
