Really disappointed... they lost me as a customer; this was my home salon. They already charged a premium for basics, but for the most part they were consistent and they were close. Every single item and package went up. So now I would be paying an extra $20-$30 for a full set and pedicure. I was a regular. They priced me out. Ben did another fantastic job with my pedicure and my manicure. I rarely have manicures because I just can't keep them due to being in the cleaning and dishwashing mode quite a bit, but I decided just to do something different for Halloween so I went ahead and got my fingernails done Within a regular manicure with regular polish done in black. For my pedicure, I chose the hot stone version which was really comforting on my legs . I get gel polish on my toes as it last about four times as long as regular polish for me. I chose a sparkling orange polish the pedicure soak felt especially good as I had inadvertently gotten into a bit of fire ants the day before and had several bites on my feet. I continue to highly recommend Ben (he is a bit of a perfectionist and cannot be rushed) at Levié Venus Nail Bar. They always offer you a drink of your choice be it water or an adult beverage. They frequently have cookies or something for a snack. The location is very convenient on the southwest side of 1431 down in one of the newer strip malls. The ambience is lots of crystals and sparkly lights and the newest in massage chairs and pedicure spas. They have a separate area for manicures, which is also very comfortable. I've been to Levie Nails countless times and have brought friends and family over the years. I even get gift certificates here for my birthday because everyone knows it was my go-to spot. I always tip 20%+ and have easily spent thousands here, but after my last visit, never again. After submitting feedback about a manicure where the polish didn't cover the sides, a manager kindly called and offered to fix it for free. I appreciated that and the manager personally booked my appointment for October 1st at 2:30 PM. When I arrived, I decided to also pay for a pedicure while I was there. Everything went fine until checkout, when they tried to charge me for the manicure that was supposed to be complimentary. When I calmly explained the situation, the woman who did my nails started yelling at me in front of the entire salon, saying I hadn't told her and insisting there was nothing wrong with my nails. It was humiliating and completely unprofessional. Thankfully, another employee eventually stepped in and confirmed what I said but the damage was done. I still tipped 20%, just wanting to get out of there, but I regret it. It's unbelievable that a manager who booked my appointment didn't note the reason for it, and that a loyal customer was treated this way. Sadly, they've lost someone who used to recommend them to everyone. read more

He made sure it looked perfect. Then Jayden did the nail art design. He did a fabulous job as well. I had great service here with Mimi. She was very easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable. She provided a terrific pedicure and manicure. She immediately cleared up any mistakes she noticed during polishing (but I couldn't see!). Also, she didn't tear up my cuticles. Unfortunately, a lot of nail salons are very aggressive with cuticles, but not here. I'm thankful for that. My nails came out beautifully! Additionally, I made my appointment online and indicated the type of pedicure and manicure I wanted. So, when I was handed the list of options for both, I was concerned about getting an up sale. But nope! I let Mimi know the ones I had requested online, and she said OK. She didn't look disappointed that I didn't choose the top service. I greatly appreciated that. It is very relaxing there as well. There are standard massage chairs to sit in while receiving a pedicure, there is pop music quietly playing, and there's a TV showing short videos to watch. This Salon is gorgeous, clean with no expense spared, I have been 4 times, getting mani/pedis each time. I have had 8 different technicians, they have all been 5 star. Never an ow! have I uttered! They have all been focused on the job at hand or foot. I have been getting these services for 40 years. I know clean, professional nail shops from bad ones. I get the SNS NAILS and gel on the toes. They last a month. They have ALL the current colors you'd hope for, no matter your style. Of course they offer the free beverages, soda and wine. Everyone is friendly. If I could recommend a stand out technician I would but, I would call them with your want list and they book the best person for the job. MANY chairs available in this large gorgeous salon. This was my first and will be my last time visiting this nail salon. I was vising from out of town for an event and this salon was recommended to me, and I was very excited to visit with the intention of bringing my friend to treat her to a nice mani/pedis day for her birthday! Upon arrival, we were sat down and only once nail tech sat down with us and began our services. It was until 30 mins into the nail tech beginning service on me when I realized that they were short staff, which is understandable, but it should have been communicated as a common courtesy to customers about the expected wait time. Not everyone has time to sit all day at the nail salon waiting to be helped. If we were told about the wait time, we would have left. There is no sense of time awareness at this place and 0 to none professionalism. The same nail tech who did my manicure also did my friend's manicure. No one else assisted. I chose dip powder, and she wanted cat eye. I didn't get the color I wanted even after I told the guy which option I wanted. It wasn't until he was finished with me when I realized this isn't the color I wanted. With dip, you never know the finished look until he applied the topcoat, and it wasn't what I wanted. I couldn't ask him to fix my nails because it had already been an hour, and he just started on my friend. We were running short on time since it's already going to be two hours since we have been at the salon and our pedicure services haven't even started. We had other things to do. I wasn't happy with my nails, so I went to speak with the front desk guy who was a young guy, and he pretty much told me his recommendation is to pay attention next time. What kind of customer service/professionalism is this. I shouldn't have to sit there and monitor my nail tech to get the color I wanted correct. I might as well have done it myself. While the nail tech was doing my friend's nails, he repeatedly stopped doing her nails to comment on live streams or text whoever he was conversing with. This was extremely maddening. He did not care that we were sitting in front of him. He was solely concerned about whatever was going on, on his phone. I had to cancel our pedicures with the manager, who then proceeded to offer that I can do my pedicure right now while other women are waiting for their pedicures. I have been sitting in the same chair for an hour just waiting and my friend sat waiting for an hour as well and now when we decided to cancel our pedicure you want to offer to start my pedicure. It was preposterous. While talking to the manager, I saw the nail tech texting again while doing my friends nails and advised her that this is also why we have no more time to available. It took her saying something to him for him to pay attention to us and even then, he didn't do what we wanted with her nails. This was the worst experience ever! I didn't get to give my friend the birthday experience I anticipated, and both of our nails were disappointing. We weren't compensated for our horrible experience. We will never come back. I was a walk-in on a Sunday, 15 minutes after they opened. I was greeted by the front desk person who took me back immediately to a pedicure chair. She then proceeded to start my Luxe pedicure. I assumed I would sit in the massage chair and soak my feet till a technician was available. She started work at 11:20a and at 12:20 she was still working on my cuticles. She was incredibly slow. She also spoke very little English, so it was a challenge to ask her questions or request things. The basin water was constantly cold because of how long it took. She seemed frustrated when I requested warm water. At 12:30p a male tech took over and got to work finishing the treatment. He finally finished around 1:30p. He was very apologetic and tried to make up for the poor service. I did see a few others come in for pedicures while I was there and got done very quickly. There were others that sat for 30 minutes waiting on a tech. I would love to come back and give them another shot but after reading that they have been open for over 6 months and still having problems like these, I won't be back. read more

Staff is super sweet but they aren't very great at polishing the nails. My pedicure was over 2 hours. I also wanted acrylic on 2 nails, but they had to get a separate technician to do it whom was very rough with the drill - the acrylic was very thick. The first time I came in great service the second time I was treated absolutely horrible not only was my acrylic nail ripped off when I asked why the nail was so white, I was yelled at by the gentleman, the gentleman who was doing my nails. His wife had to come in a calm things, there was no owner nor manger. I didn't get a refund for the service, but the gentleman did not apologize until after my fiancée came in. I've tired to call and they said the owner and manger are on vacation, well it's been a month. I will never go back and I hope to god no one gets treated like this ever. Absolutely disappointed. After 2 years of only coming here - my daughter came in on Friday, with an appointment for Prom nails. Midway through noticed her nails were not even close to what she asked for (example picture was provided). They were annoyed it needed to be fixed.
