Salon is clean and the people are friendly. I went with my husband, who seldom gets a manicure/pedicure. His pedicure was fine, but while doing the manicure the girl cut his finger. He didn't want to say anything, but I noticed after leaving that it was bleeding. I wrote in the "Contact Us" message box on their website (it was after hours) explaining what happened and requested a call back. Never heard from anyone. A few days later, I called and spoke to the manager. He told me they never check that box for messages and to bring in a doctor bill and they would pay for it. This is a wonderful family owned business that takes care and pride in the nail services they provide. They also offer a 5% discount if you pay in cash due to fees. I love their transparency. I walked there the other day. My Mani Pedi was so amazing I gave away a LOT in tips and forgot I walked there. Net is I was 8 short. I LOVE them....I got a giggle that I tipped so much and ran out of cash. I went home and came back with the remainder. They said I didn't need to do that and could take care of it next time. No problem. Of course I jogged home (showered LMAO) and drove back to pay the balance. They are so nice there. My inside voice saying...Only me. Only me. They get to know each client, their needs, and most of all they customize the experience. They also have bags they use in each pedi bowl. I love that so its always clean. There are TVs, music, drinks, snacks and WIFI. I read some of the reviews who mentioned little things they didn't like with their nails and I would recommend that people have a voice. Speak up during the process and don't wait if you don't like the journey. Have a voice while getting your nails done. It's ok. just be respectful. I personally have never had to do that as they proactively ask questions as they go and I answer honestly answer. This will be my spot always until I move, die, or they close up. PERIOD. I have been coming to Lavish for a little over a year. I have seen them get better each time. They have upgraded the booking system as well as the options to pay. If you pay cash you are offered a discount. They have an ATM for your convenience. No one pressures you to get anything you don't ask for. The facility is clean and they require everyone to sanitize their hands as soon as they walk on. They do offer complimentary beverages and the staff does their due diligence to give you what you ask for. We always talk about my color and design and expectations before and the nail tech informs me of what he or she can do so that I am not disappointed. Staff Cindy, very nice but my nails look horrible. Did the dip nail and thought she was making such an extra effort with filing and working on them from different angles. Realized after, the sides of my nails were left EXPOSED. You could literally see the tops of my natural nail from the side. It doesn't look *as* bad in the picture because I had to clip the corners of my natural nails that were showing, off, before my event. WORST job I've ever had done. This place is right by my home, so I gave it a few try since it opened, about 4 years ago. However, this was definitely the last, they manage to get worse every time. When you go to a nail spa you are paying to be pampered and you sure expect to get quality service, not careless people to whom you have to be pointing out how that cuticle is still hanging or have that foot massage you paid extra for being so short and poorly done that you don't even notice it already happened. Today unfortunately, I HATED the gel color I got for my pedicure and it makes me so nervous to say something if I don't like it. I finally got the courage to call to see if we could fix it/how much and she told me that I could come in to get a darker color layered over. It was so nice and I really appreciated it as it's not their fault I didn't like it in the end. I was willing to pay, but $30 to remove and change completely was a little much for me (understandably due to labor cost), but the fact that she was able to layer it for me was really kind and I appreciated it. I have been going here for pedicures ever since they opened - great service and results. Sadly, I can't say the same the for manicure services. I have been growing my nails out for a wedding I'm standing up in. Went in today for an SNS manicure to ensure my nails will be strong and long for the wedding in two weeks. Tiffani asked if I wanted my nails "cut to the same length," to which I replied yes. SHE CUT MY NAILS DOWN TO NUBS and then tried to upsell me tips!!! Before we had even gotten started, I told her this was my first time getting SNS. I refused the tips and clarified that I wanted SNS on my natural nail, and sat in sadness as she proceeded to dip my now pathetically stumpy nails. She never even did the manicure part, leaving me with cuticles more ragged than I went in with, thanks to the SNS overflow having to be clipped off, and the tips of my nubs completely adhered to the base of my fingertips. The thickness is uneven, there is overflow and spillage all along my cuticles and fingertips, and I'm left with hardly any nails :-( The worst part is - they charged me the full price for SNS, including the false tips, even though I did not get any. By far the most disappointing experience I've had in a long time. Horrible. ***UPDATE*** One week later, and two of my SNS shells have already popped off! For $40, I would expect my nails to last longer than seven days! They've definitely lost a customer! read more

Today it was freezing cold outside and the power in the nail salon went off during my pedicure, but the staff at Lavish made it their mission to still give me the best service possible! They brought me hot towels to keep me warm and shined their phone flashlights on my feet to finish my pedicure! I was expecting to leave after that, but they assured me they could get my nails done too since I was already there! My nail tech did a FABULOUS job! I am always impressed with the service of this place, but today they just went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and make sure I had a great experience just like every other time I've been there! I would give the best review for their services, specifically for Tifanni. However the customer treatment from the person in the picture attached is the worse. This is the third time it happens to me, i think she is the owner's wife. Today I made a reservation at 11 am for my mani to be done at 6 pm. I arrived at 5:55 and i am assigned this lady, she let me in water for 25 minutes and continued like nothing cleaning chairs. I understand disinfecting is a priority-but then I asked if she is busy maybe someone else can do my nails, my fingers are already wrinkled. Then she comes with a dismissive attitude as always and talks to me like she was giving me my mani for free. The previous two times I had issues with her was one time I came for a correction of two nails that came off just after one day of having them done and she made me wait 45 minutes in the chair before she even started, then stopped, assigned the work to another tech, when we were starting the second nail she made the tech stop and took over to constantly standing to go someone else or clean stations. The other time she did my nails terrible tick and asymmetrical and she was upset and rolling eyes when I pointed out. I advise against her services just because of her attitude and be just like "you worth nothing to me" and makes you wait long time and doesn't accept If you want your nails your way. I've been avoiding getting my talons done since I've been in Texas. Moving, traveling, & being sick has pretty much done it for me. My last straw was when my nail popped off & my thumbnail chipped. I'm normally not into going to places that have no reviews but this place just opened up 3 days ago & oh so so close to where I'm temporarily staying. This place is so beautiful & calm. It's gorgeous. It does not smell like a salon. They play relaxing classical music. It's super super sanitary - my tools were satanized via autoclave & when I got my pedicure had sanitation bags in the sinks. Totally appreciate that. It also looks like the nail techs have their own coordinated tool kits that are all organized & labeled. I lol see some salons have the plastic shower caddies with all their stuff sitting out. This place, their techs have these beautiful tool kits. Nice job with the detail! NOTE: You can get a free beverage during your stay, water, soda, wine or ... MIMOSAS! That's right, mimosas. My lovely manicure & pedicure was done by Kim, who was amazing. I definitely recommend her. She's so sweet. So, I got the calluses treat pedicure (I really wish there was a more romantic way of describing that) but they straight up got the cheese grater out & went to town on my feets. Kim massages my legs so well, I almost fell asleep. She is a trooper. I also got a gel pedicure on my toes. (people should really do this, it's just more sensible in warmer climates when you wear sandals 90% of the year.) she did a great job. I am so particular about my nails. I love neutral colors with coffin shaped nails. Occasionally I do something funky with my middle nail. So this spot has color changing polish!! (Mood changing - ask for it) Generally speaking, the color changed with the heat or cold. I played it conservative just because sometimes I've noticed that the color either fades or after a while changed to the color change color. Kim did an epic job. She is so super detailed & just made my nails look so wonderful. They are thin but strong & so perfectly shaped. She took her time. I'm also a weirdo that has my nails grow along with my acrylics, so that being said, these are my real nails strengthened with acrylics so I won't rip or bite them off. Kim did such a wonderful job with the shape. I'm definitely coming back here again! Try to grab them during their opening, they have 20% off of services. read more

I stopped in for a regular manicure and left disappointed. I asked that she not take a lot of length off and well, she did. I get the language barrier but if you don't understand the customer it is best that one asks again. The paint is pretty sloppy and uneven and I have a lot of cuticles that aren't as soft as when I got to US nails down the street (by Redhorn). I could not have been more pleased with my service at Lavish Nails & Spa. I walked in at 5 pm on October 21, with no appointment and in desperate need of a pedicure. I have a medical condition that cause severe neuropathy and my feet were in terrible shape. I had a appointment the following morning (today) with a new foot doctor and would have been mortified for the doctor to see my feet in such bad shape. Nancy was my Pedicurist and she did a fantastic job! What was bone dry and cracked had been transformed to baby soft and supple.
