I had a very professional and wonderful first time visit with Maui Medspa to getting myself a laser treatment. My initial visit set up, I had over the phone and text called to inquire on the April 2026 special of BBL&Moxi for $499 which is a very good price point when I compared it to the medical services I get today from Westlake Dermatology via a board certified plastic surgeon MD. I was very apprehensive about the visit and seeking Laser services but my consultation, skin analysis and care in the hands of Nurse Olivia was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable about addressing my typical skin care issues, the products I currently use and what I wanted to treat with the laser treatments, primarily melasma and sun spots with my skin Fitzpatrick type. With going through assessment, Nurse Olivia gave me a more professional and conservative approach at not trying to do too much with my first treatment and decided we would want to do BBL in the winter and focus on Moxi to address collagen growth, reducing of pores, redness and acne scarring along with fading sun spots. The skin analysis was fun to do, and with getting things along for Moxi, topical numbing was applied to my face and after this kicked in, she very much checked in with me on the treatment and explained to the newbie that I am pre and post care behavior and what to expect in the days following. I had such a great and positive experience in her hands and care at Maui, and look forward to returning after I heal and see the final treatment after mends wraps! A few notes I am curious on are, when I asked about the pricepoint if not doing BBL and just Moxi for face and neck (since the April special was a specific price point) and if I would see a price difference, it was actually more expensive to do Moxi alone on my face and neck, and I was charged $550. Not a big deal since they had already incurred the $50 deposit but I was a little miffed at how less services rendered when removing BBL ended up costing me more. There is a monthly membership where you can benefit from Botox and microneedling and Moxi (limited to several in an annual visit) that makes this spot a very good option in appointment availability and financial benefit! The office staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and attentive in all of my questions and I did enjoy my visit. One note I've seen at medspa's I've visited is the gratuity prompt appears at checkout terminal, and since I'm always there for medical services, decline this on hefty medical procedures. There was no negative feedback in me doing so (I've had this elsewhere when receiving Botox or microneedling at medspas, which is why i started seeing MD/nurses only) Maui Medspa is wonderful in getting me to my skin care goals and keeping us safe and healthy in the greater Austin market! I've been a recurring, out-of-pocket client at this MedSpa, and the way the director, Winston Turnage, and my injector, Jocelyn Vera Jaimes, run things is completely unacceptable. Winston arbitrarily blocked me from booking filler for six months, even though I have less than three mL in my face nowhere near an excessive amount. This wasn't about safety; it was bias and personal preference. His actions felt discriminatory, as he applied restrictions based on opinion rather than medical reasoning. For someone with a medical degree and military experience, this level of incompetence and unfair treatment is shocking. I'm providing screenshots to show exactly what I asked and how it was mishandled. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, Winston chose to terminate me as a client. This shows how petty, vindictive, and thin-skinned he really is. His comments and actions carry the unmistakable feel of micro-aggressions: dismissive answers, subtle digs, and responses that completely ignored the questions I actually asked. Jocelyn Vera Jaimes presents herself as a friendly, supportive girls' girl, but in reality, she is completely performative. Once I raised legitimate questions or concerns, she vanished. Her behavior is disingenuous, fake, and exactly who she is someone more concerned with appearances than her clients. This MedSpa has over a dozen negative reviews showing a clear pattern: botched work, improperly placed injections, swelling, ignored complaints, and sloppy documentation. Clients consistently experience arbitrary restrictions, dismissive treatment, and unprofessional behavior. They prioritize money over skill, safety, and respect. Do not waste your money here. Go somewhere competent, respectful, and capable of treating clients professionally. Winston and Jocelyn have shown exactly who they are. read more

Came here about a year ago & got lip filler. I did not see any difference in the volume of my lips. After the swelling went down, my lips looked exactly the same as they did before filler! I contacted Taylor Silvio to tell her my concerns, she told me that there is nothing she can do since sometimes people don't see a difference the first time using the filler.. which is very odd and unprofessional she didn't tell me that when I was in the office getting the filler.. Complete waste of time since I took off from work just to have this video consultation with her to tell her my concerns & she just blew me off. Definitely do your research before going here the lip filler they use is not juvederm .. juvederm costs more and honestly is what I see results from. Definitely get what you pay for coming here. EDIT: As you can see by my below review I truly liked this place. HOWEVER-- my service lasted only six weeks after the nurse and website state effects should me visible for 3 months. 90 units of Dysport lasted only 6 weeks! Everyone at the office tries to blame it on "not a high enough dose" but this timeline is insane. My service was either not done correctly, done with expired product or watered down. When expressing this concert I was offered an insulting 5 unit touch up (after a 90 unit service) and after speaking to the manager he upped it to 10 units when/if I paid for the service again. After following up again I received no response except for an email stating that my membership was cancelled. The lack of pride in their work is so disappointing. If I could give this place 6 stars I would! I went in March to see Nurse Taylor for a lip fill that turned out amazing. Today I saw Nurse Morgan for Botox and it was such a fun and satisfying experience. Both nurses were so knowledgeable and made me feel entirely comfortable. They are gentle and make sure to give you anything to be comfortable-- fans, stress balls, anything you ask for! read more

I love Nurse Taylor and Nurse Morgan, they both are so friendly, experienced, informative, and great at what they do. I scheduled with Taylor after I joined my friend for an appointment. I was so impressed with the fact that she really took her time to personalize my friends procedures for her face. My friend was unsure if she wanted cheek filler and Taylor advised against it because it wasn't right for her face, which I appreciated. I've been to places where it's like they are trying to upsale you or something and it feels wrong and cheap, Maui Medspa is not one of those places. I was injected with come to find out after asking for months for my records which I still don't have I was sent "notes" one had date and was written in December 2020 (INJECTIONS WERE MARCH 2020) so he wrote after the fact which is not legal, we have gone back and forth with this for months, it was radiesse NOT A HA FILLER. I have a huge rock under my eye that wont go down and causes constant swelling under my eyes since i've had the injections now still a year later and who knows how many more YEARS!!! I was refunded the amount I paid and that does what??? this has destroyed me I want all my money back I spent on MRI AND ENT and plastic surgeon consultations! you destroyed my face! do you not care? every day i look this way!!!
