I flew from Los Angeles to Austin specifically to see Adriana at Maeva, and I can honestly say it was one of the best aesthetic decisions I've ever made. First, the space itself is absolutely stunning. Calling it a med spa almost doesn't do it justice. The design feels more like a beautifully curated gallery or museum, with thoughtful artwork and an atmosphere that is both luxurious and incredibly calming. The moment you walk in, you feel taken care of. What truly sets Maeva apart, though, is Adriana. Before we did anything, she spent a significant amount of time understanding my goals and concerns. She looked at my face from multiple angles, watched how I spoke, how my facial expressions moved, and took the time to truly understand both my anatomy and the outcome I was hoping to achieve. She is meticulous, thoughtful, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. What impressed me most was that she wasn't trying to sell me. In fact, she was very clear about what she would and would not recommend, what results were realistic, and what would best serve my face long term. That level of honesty is rare. We did a combination of filler, Dysport, and Sculptra, and I was genuinely blown away by the results. One of the concerns we addressed is something I've been insecure about since I was 12 years old. Over the years, I had been told by multiple people that there wasn't much that could be done. Adriana was the first person who confidently looked at me and said, "Of course we can improve that." The level of artistry, precision, and attention to detail she brought to the process was remarkable. Even immediately after treatment, the results exceeded my expectations. And the most exciting part is that I haven't even seen the full outcome yet, as some treatments take time to settle and develop. Adriana is truly an artist. She just happens to use faces as her canvas. More recently, I booked a skincare consultation with Salma, hoping to receive a personalized treatment plan for dry, dull skin. Instead, the esthetician barely examined my skin before returning with an armful of expensive products. I was only able to sample one of them, and there was virtually no discussion of treatment options or facial services that might address my concerns. The entire appointment felt more like a sales pitch than a professional skincare consultation. As a longtime client, I expected thoughtful recommendations and a customized plan, not pressure to buy products and a poor attitude from someone one who is supposedly a licensed esthetician. I left feeling like my time wasn't valued and that customer care has taken a back seat to retail sales. Also, when I speak to someone at the front desk, I don't think it's too much to ask that they are professional with me but that wasn't the case today with Holly. Sadly, I can no longer recommend SkinEnvy based on the poor business acumen and unprofessionalism of the current staff.

Sandy advised that she could enhance my jawline by adding more filler in my chin. Apparently, what I requested is known as the "Texas Jawline."" Texas Jaw Treatments typically use Hyaluronic Acid Fillers to reshape and strengthen your jawline. Fillers are injectable substances that are absorbed by the skin to instantly add volume and create a lifting effect. Some products also trigger the production of collagen, which is the main constituent of skin, bones, and ligaments. To achieve my desired look, Sandy recommended using Restylane lyft and Restylane define. When injected into the hands, Restylane Lyft reduces the appearance of sagging skin, making the tendons and bones of the hand less visible. The injection of hyaluronic acid also triggers the production of collagen, which naturally provides more structure to the skin for longer. Similar to other products listed in the previous review of services rendered here, results of this filer have been shown to last up to 1 year with Restylane Lyft in the cheeks; up to 6 months in facial wrinkles and folds, like nasolabial folds; and up to 6 months in the hands. Sandy is extremely meticulous when it comes to providing fillers and explaining what benefits may arise from using various fillers. When scheduling, I specifically asked whether you had an injector experienced with mature skin and droopy eyelids, as technique matters significantly. I was assured that you did. During my consultation, I explained that I typically receive 40 units and prefer a natural look. I also mentioned my droopy eyelids and that my previous injector adjusts placement to provide a subtle lift. I was advised to increase to 56 units, and after some discussion, I said fine (they made me pay the highest price per unit that I ever paid for that additional units) Within a week, my eyelids dropped significantly more than before. It appears too much product was placed in my forehead, resulting in pronounced lid heaviness. I am currently unable to comfortably apply mascara, and the outcome is very concerning. I contacted the front desk and was told a manager would call me. Instead, I received a text asking me to schedule another appointment. I requested a phone call but have not received any response. I am extremely disappointed -- both in the outcome and in the lack of consideration for their customers. Never again!
