I adore this shop. Give them a chance and ask for Diamond. I stumbled upon this place by accident. I was desperate to get my nails done and it was 6 pm on a Friday. My old salon pretty much told me to get bent (harsh, but fair). I called Emerald Nail Salon. Diamond answered and told me to come on in. She and her husband are adorable, efficient. friendly and great at what they do. I am extremely picky and not easily impressed. Honestly I was blown away by the excellent customer service and skill I experienced. My nails are still going strong, not a chip, not a crack...nothing. After a month and a half. I went back the yestetday and got this gorgeous color and my eyelashes done. Diamond is efficient, skilled and personable. She truly cares about making sure you're happy and has no problem fixing things to your specifications. They have tons of colors in both dip and gel, options for stickers and gems/jewels (more so than I've seen at other shops in Cedar Park). I've found my manicurist! Finally!!! After spending tons of money trying LOTS of places in Cedar Park. Don't waste your time or money. Call Emerald Nail and ask for Diamond. Except this morning. I want a pedicure today lol. I decided to give this place a chance while I was waiting for my car to get clean. I have to say that everyone there is so nice and it was clean and I'm not writing this review because of the people there. I am running the review based on the service that I got. I paid for the gel manicure which usually lasts about 2 weeks. Mine lasted four days before it started chipping. I'm just disappointed that the gel mana cure lasted less than a week. read more

I stopped in this afternoon since I didn't feel like driving to my usual place and Emerald Nails is super close to my house.. The nail spa is located inside of the H20 car wash which was slightly confusing to me at first. I think this is a great idea to get pampered while your car gets pampered. They even offer just a massage chair service if you don't want to get your nails done. I decided to get the milk and honey pedicure which is the most expensive pedicure on their menu. My feet go through hell every day with my hardcore workouts. It is the least I can do to keep them happy. The overall pedicure was good. Not the greatest but not the worst. Hence the three stars. I think my nails either needed another coat or maybe a darker color. The selection of nail colors was smaller than other salons. I assume it was smaller based upon the size of the location. Overall I would come back here again for no frills pedicure or when I need my car wash. Also note, the check in off of 5% off is no longer valid. It has been of years apparently. Came in for a pedicure and to get my nails done. I was a walk-in and they were able to take me immediately. Jaycee and Ben did an amazing job! Jaycee did my pedicure while Ben did my nails. The salon is very clean and welcoming. They took such care, and their work was meticulous. I'll definitely be going back! Super close to my house so bummed it was less than expected. They are so very friendly here which was pleasant but unfortunately the nail job was pretty bad. My pedicure was pretty good but my nails, excess product on my fingers and under my finger nails, warped coloring on the nail, & no good shaping or manicure. It is nice they put the oil on it to feel fancy but I wonder if they do that to hide the mistakes. All in all I wouldn't go back, I will say they were really nice but unfortunately the end result was not good. I went to get them fixed and the nail guy was shocked by the color warping. Not a great experience for "SNS" with tip. Pretty sure I got acrylic and they are so thick my nails are screaming under. The shape is totally off and does not fit my nail beds. I was really excited to try this nail salon because of the excellent reviews. It was a little difficult to find because it was inside a car wash. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but this was a horrible experience. I told her I wanted the dipping powder which is what I had before several times with ombré. She told me she was going to use ombré and then used two different color powders. I kept it waiting for her even it out but it continued to look worse and none of my nails matched. She kept hitting my cuticles and cut one of them and held the drill too long on my nail so it felt likE it was burning. They look nothing like ombré and just like a bad French manicure with a huge white tip. I was super disappointed and once again realized you can't just go by good Yelp reviews. read more

One star for the service being attentive, but my nails literally chipped the next morning. I had to ask to even out streaky shellac during application. They assured me the streaking was normal (it is not for anyone who can apply gel properly) and that they just needed to add more coats...they applied like five coats on my nails, I attempted to give them benefit of the doubt and respond politely but this alarmed me as I knew the amount of layers applied on my nails to become smooth-ish would make the polish chip right away. I WAS RIGHT. I should have just asked them to remove the gel and kept my money. I wanted to really like this place, as everyone was friendly but I'm very disappointed and feel it was a waste of time and money, application took more than an hour for unsatisfactory results. I just went to Emerald Nails for the first time today and am so happy to have found this place. It is small and cozy so you don't feel like one person is constantly trying to help multiple customers at once. It is very clean and the ladies were super friendly. Diamond applied my first set of SNS dip nails with tips and they came out beautifully. She was very detailed and made sure I was happy all along the process. This is my first and last visit to this nail salon. The wait wasn't bad, I'll give it that. But the man who did my nails did not do that great of a job. I got gel acrylics and he used white dip powder. My nails feel bumpy and uneven on top. All but two of my nails are crooked and uneven, there is gap between my false nails and skin when my natural nails show. All in all, my nails look very sloppy and messy. WOW! Ok I have been searching for the perfect nail salon since I recently moved to Austin. Everyone here is incredibly nice and caring. They truly take care of you. They take their time on you but it's never too much time. Not only does the owner remember you, but she makes an effort to form a true connection with you and holds great conversation. She knows her regulars and greets them by name. She even remembers details from their last visit and what they talked about. Just knowing that this is the kind of service you get here, made me comfortable and want to come back. She has been doing nails for almost 17 years and can do any design you show her, so that's a big plus! Not to mention the pricing is extremely reasonable and they don't charge for nail removal which is awesome. Don't be fooled by the fact that they operate out of the H2O car wash, that's even an extra convenience. I can get my nails done while I get my car washed. How great is that? I haven't had a full set on in almost 6 months because the previous salon I visited grinded my nails down too much and they were so brittle, I had to try to grow them out.
