For services, I love the Gel X manicures, which are the only nail service that has ever held up for me for a solid month every time I get them done -- no breaking or chipping. I love the paint options that look slightly translucent, depending on the number of coats applied. Pedicures are good, but I wouldn't put them above other area salons. They also offer a nice selection of drinks. The TV is always playing a random show like "serving coffee orders in real time" or "watch them make a bunch of crazy donuts." I looked up on Yelp to find a new nail salon. It took me here. I requested Jay, which was the best decision yet. I needed to get my nails done for my brother's wedding and they needed to look perfect. Jay did just THAT. I asked for classy French nails with a thinner white lining. Jay was extremely detailed, checked in with me, and made sure I got what I asked for. I will not be going with anyone else. Jay is my man. Parking: lots of it! Pricing: it was a steep $115 for a gel pedi + a dip powder mani + tip. The pedicure was subpar. I had someone else that was not Jay, so next time, it'll be him. Go! They are a newer salon. I got a mani/pedi here and the service was seriously top notch! I think they are one of the few places that has the viral trendy Korean jelly nails that I've been dreaming of having. It's honestly the most beautiful nails I've ever had! The massage chairs are so nice and dig into those much needed spots while the workers do your pedicure. They even have complimentary drinks that they offer you (I didn't even have to ask unlike some other places I've gone). They have wine (red/white), margs, lemon drop martinis, and mimosas! These people are scammers. I came in about an hour before close. Upon entering the salon I showed the nail tech what I wanted on my nails and asked for a fill in my acrylics. Even though the salon wasn't open very much longer and my design was pretty detailed the tech still accepted my service and quoted me $75 for the set. The first red flag was that she started trying to take off the acrylic I already had on which was only a week and a half old I told I didn't want/need that. She seemed frustrated and got some other tech to take over. The lady who took over was rough and careless working on my fill. When I showed her the design she bumped the price up to $85. This bothered me but I continued with the service. As she kept going she became rougher and sloppier. The nails have no actual shape and are uneven. She left my nails super thick so asked her to make them a little thinner which is how I prefer them. She got frustrated and took her nail drill and used it so hard on my nails that it actually hurt really bad. I asked why she was treating me that way and she started to complain about how if I had come in earlier in the morning they would take more time to make the nails nice. Her speaking to me that way and the state of my nails were the last straw so I went up to the counter and told the man everything that was going on and how uncomfortable I felt. He told me all I could do was either go home as is and come back tomorrow to continue with someone else or let her finish. My nails were in so much pain I couldn't bear to sit back in her chair so I had to cut my losses and go home. The man at the desk had no compassion or understanding. I was offered no discount at first or even an apology. At first they confidently expected me to pay the full refill price $45 and come back out of my way to get it fixed and pay for the design as well. Full price! I have never heard anything more ridiculous in my life. I went home with crooked, unfinished, sore nails. All around this salon needs to brush up on their customer service. Proceeded with caution if Jennie is your nail tech. To your response (which is clearly written by AI, that's cute): Everything I stated is factual. I arrived at the salon at 6:38pm and you close at 7:30. Both of Your techs could have easily decided to turn away the service if it was too late or too complicated for them to handle. You are a disgraceful business for trying to tell me I'm looking for a hand out but thank you for showing everyone how poorly you are handling the situation. The pictures don't lie. I have been coming here for the past 8 months or so and have a good experience every time. The front desk person is always polite and sweet. Each technician I've tried does a great job with my nails. I get a gel set with long natural nails, a specific shape and they all take the time to get it right. I'm leaving a review because tonight I had a person I hadn't had before and she was SO GOOD. I think these are the most beautiful set of nails I've ever had. She was super meticulous and took her time doing things the way she wanted the results to be. I came in with a half broken long nail and a short nail against all my other long nails and she did a combination of builder gel and a tip to get me to a gorgeous set. She didn't rush through any of it and shaped my cuticles perfectly. I told her I what color I wanted without saying much and she brought out something I hadn't seen before and couldn't even describe, and it was exactly what I was dreaming of. Ugh this color is to die for!! I think Ivy's way is the difference between a very competent nail tech and a master. I felt very cared for and not oversold. She wasn't fake or distracted. I stopped going to the last place I was going to consistently even though they did a pretty set, because I always felt rushed through and like she had other things to do. The nails on my right hand except my pinky are leaning to the left, but didn't notice until I got home and won't be noticeable to anyone but me - again, likely not a problem unless you're nitpicking. My first visit was pretty good as well, but I noticed after leaving that the chrome was not evenly applied, so that was disappointing since it was $15 extra - it was all I could see after I noticed it, and it undid the impeccable job she did on the SNS beneath. Pedicures have been decent both times, but that gel is EXPENSIVE for a single pedicure. Overall, they do a pretty good job - much better than the other salons I've been to in the area. read more

However both times I've gone, I've gotten nicked by the nail drill, and sometimes when they drill it hurts a little. This last time I got a color that I guess costs extra, but I was willing to pay because it was gorgeous! But some of my nails came out crooked. It's not a huge deal, and I didn't notice until I left and I did not feel like going back in to ask them to correct it because it's not super noticeable. (I also hate coming across as a potential Karen) However I did pay, with tip, $100 for these nails! I would hope they wouldn't be crooked. I love this spa. They helped me match my dress for a formal event and I got such friendly and efficient treatment. Not once did I worry about whether or not I was in a sketchy unhygienic situation. They listened and made sure I was comfortable, down to the perfect temp of water for my Pedi. I have sensitive feet and they really made me feel at ease. The selection of colors is large and having tested the service with multiple bleached dish washing sessions, my nails are still going strong. As you can see, I left the salon with my feet in even worse condition -- on one foot, my cuticle was cut so short that my toe has been bleeding; on the other, the skin on the back of my toe is completely torn + just hanging there. I am so in love with my nails! I was treated poorly by my nail tech, she was in a bad mood and took it out on my nails. My nails were naturally LONG, I asked for a cut down. She argued that if I cut them down my nails wouldn't look "skinny". I said, "I'm old and accept I have fat looking nails haha". I then expressed that it's not easy having a toddler with LONG nails, she wouldn't even look up at me. She took the nail file and saw'd them down to nothing, she also shaped them lop sided and cut my skin open. The nail tech, Snow is her name cut my finger while aggressively sawing my nail down to nothing and acted as if nothing happened. I asked for short with almond point shape, she apparently didn't like that and purposefully rounded them off until I asked her again for almond. My experience was not good at all. Usually, the staff at this establishment had historically been very kind. I felt attacked by this nail tech for no reason. The pricing is really high and they don't even put lotion on your hands or arms, no massage or anything for the price! They do have nice pedicure options if you want to drop $100. Did not have the best experience today. This is the usual place I go to so I wasn't expecting anything different. I got a pedicure, which was great until we got down to the color. I wanted black French tip, no biggie I always get this done. Got the same pedicure and everything. When it came down to the price, she said it was $15 extra for French tip. I said, Hmm seems a bit more than I usually pay, so I question it. She tells me it's because it's French tip. I say, okay.. so why is it $15?
