If I could put zero stars I would! We came in for mommy and daughter's day but had the most worst experience. Barely was greeted when we came in. Finally we were told someone was available for my nails and My daughter was next in line for a pedicure after waiting for over 30 minute. A few caucasian women walked in and they told us they will have to get them in first cause they would pay more. They were walk ins so I was so confused and my daughter was upset and sad. Due to this being her first experience and it turned out this way. We ended up leaving to go to another nail shop so her day wasn't spoiled by horrible people. She's only 9 might I add. I highly don't recommend these rude people at all. The vibe was giving racist and money hungry. No wonder its rating is so low. They're not very nice people at all! read more

Amy, the person who did my pedicure, was amazing. I have neuropathy, hammer toes and deep scars. She didn't act alarmed or standoffish by the way they looked. I literally hate my nails. I went there today to get a French tip and he did my nails thick. He didn't make sure the ends were sharp and the overall shape of my nails are just horrible. We really enjoyed our pedicures here yesterday. It was relaxing and enjoyable. They did a great job intuitively sensing our levels of comfort. I for one am seriously ticklish and they powered through it with a smile. Our toes look amazing! I took one star off only because the massage chairs were a tad aggressive. I've been getting my nails done for ten years consistently and so I can tell when a nail tech cares and is skilled or not. I'm not even someone who is too particular about my nails and toes. People do not let the size of this salon fool you -- these people are SKILLED. I did a ton of research choosing a place today and I am so glad I chose Grand Nail Spa. My pedicure was one of the best I've had in a long time -- if not the best EVER. I almost fell asleep. and the gel looks perfect on my toes. My nails needed a tip and my tech informed me that solar nails may hold up better than plain SNS if I wanted them long. I took his advice and went with solar. I could not believe how fast and skilled he was with that brush, I mean, holy crap. I was cheesing under my mask so hard knowing I was gonna walk out of there feeling like a bad b**** again. Not only that, but he shaped them to perfection-- the most perfect narrow shape I've ever had. Pricing is comparable to any other place I've been to. I would say my experience at the actual salon was fine, no issues. However, I am less than a week from when I got my dip manicure and all of my nails have cracks in them and one has fully broken. I have been at home that whole time, not doing anything that would be "hard on my nails" and I'm extremely disappointed with paying $40 for something that didn't even last a week. Editing to add a picture of my nails less than two weeks after where they are completely coming off. SO disappointed. read more

I live nearby so I came in as a walk-in today. I was seen to immediately. I showed Lam a photo of what I wanted and he suggested a color similar that I ended up liking more. He asked questions and verified multiple times to make sure I was happy (shape, color, finish etc). His attention to detail was so refreshing! He was gentle but quick, and not once was there any burning/pain that can come from getting acrylics done. I honestly was so happy with how he treated me throughout the process! I opted to get some jewels done, and he showed me the whole collection and we talked about all sorts of options. I wasn't sure what I wanted so I kept scrolling through Pinterest and changing my mind before settling on something simple but beautiful. He was so patient and I'm in love with the end result! The owner rushed to get him a cold water and a soda and also paid for his meal next door. I had been going here for the last few months because I really liked the first time I went. It's hard finding a nail salon to continue to go to on regular basis because people leave elsewhere and whatever. Anyhow... went today, my past pedicures have been amazing.. the blissful pedicure is amazing. Hot rocks, paraffin wax, massage, just perfect! Well today I went and got manicure and pedicure, manicure was great! The pedicure... well my toe nails are super short, look like baby nails, I never have had my toe nails so short. I keep my toe nails at a good length but They were cut toooooo short and shaped round, which I asked for square. Then he cut the sides so narrow that looks like a blob of polish on my toes. The ladies ALWAYS do an amazing job, this time the guy did my pedicure and I am not happy at all! They are not happy toes like he said! So embarrassed that I don't even want to post a pic! If I return, I will make sure that the ladies do my pedicure because my toes are not happy right now. Can't do anything but let them grow out now. read more

This place used to be great. They have changed ownership and the service has gone wayyy downhill! Don't bother to make an appointment, as you may end up waiting 30-45 minutes for them to get to you. I was a regular customer and always made an appointment. However, I'm sick of the appointment time not being respected. Also, they will often refuse appointments on the phone when they are soon to "close" (ie within 1 hour-30 minutes of closing) but I repeatedly have seen people walk in just before, at the time of close, or (worst yet) after closing. I've stopped coming back completely after my appointments meant nothing. Also avoid the jellybeans or anything that is not wrapped/sealed. I have seen so so many people (and kids) use their hands to grab something from their pity snack selection. Ewww!!! read more

I went there for the first time to get a acrylic and gel manicure and it was going well but during my manicure a lady came in upset about her lip wax because her lip was bleeding, I could see the scab on her face from about 10 feet away. It made me really nervous but I figured it was a one off and let them finish my nails? Even giving them a large tip... a few days later one of my acrylic nails broke in half. A couple days after that my entire index finger nail broke in half. I called and let them know what happened I came in and they fixed it for free. But then the next day my pinky nail and my thumb nail broke off. Mind you I do not do any heavy work with my hands, I'm on the computer all day for work and my hair doesn't require any real managing either. This had never happened to me before. I went into the nail salon and asked if I could get a repair of all of my remaining nails, aside from the two they just got fixed, because the other ones I could see were about to break off too. The owner kept acting like he didn't hear me clearly and then finally said he didn't have time to fix all of my nails, that I should be glad they fixed them for free and I would need to make an appointment for the next day like everyone else. I explained to him that I didn't have time to keep coming in to get my broken nails fixed and the last time my nail broke it started bleeding really bad. He got a terrible temper with me about it me in front of other customers... I am shocked at the terrible customer service here. Do not waste your time!!! Go somewhere else! read more

I've tried to give this place a few tries. Their customer service sucks. They have nobody that can speak english well enough to explain their different pedicures and then roll their eyes when asked. The chairs are tired and worn and they have mediocre technicians that do not give proper pedicures. I got injured the time before by one lady digging into the side of my toe and shaped my nails horribly. Gave them a final chance and my pedicure was horrible again. No time taken to shape my nails, callous removal and my nails chipped the next day and look like crap. Couldn't even say anything to the nail tech since she doesn't understand a word I'd say. They were quite short and damaged after wearing gel nails for over a year straight. She cleaned up my awful cuticles and did a spotless polish job. They do get really close to the living cuticle but no cuts. I like them that clean, but others prefer not to have the cuticle trimmed. They will honor your wishes either way.
