From a drink to start with, to the bubbles to soak our feet in, to the hot towels and taking care of the excessive calluses. To the tip of my toes, sweet, shiny toenails that are seasonal and matching the dress I am planning to wear to the next event. This was a 1st visit here, and not my usual thing to do, so I felt a bit unexperienced. Nancy and Tammy took their time to carefully explain what the options are. I took their recommendation and went ahead with powder instead of dip, and couldn't be more happy with the flawless results. Nancy is such a sweetheart who gave me a relaxing and somewhat ticklish massage, and then the soul felt pedicure. I was amazed to find my feet glowing and the skin feeling soft! The beautiful Mindy took care of my mom. Mom was all content as her toe issues were addressed and the massage took her troubles away. The experienced Tammy (who runs the place) took great care of my finger nails and who recommended powder over dip for very apparent reasons. I had to wait for her service because she was requested and had appointments, but she's worth the wait! I stopped in for a manicure and pedicure, but unfortunately the service was very disappointing. The male technician who assisted me appeared to lack experience based on the quality of the nail work. It was done so poorly that I decided not to continue with the manicure and left early. This was the worst experience I've had at a nail salon, and I will not be returning. read more

I got yelled at for asking her to fix my toe that she left crooked. The gentleman came over & fixed it for me bc she started to yell at me & make a scene in the salon. I felt uncomfortable & decide to end my service short, since I felt unsafe & was getting yelled at in from of everyone in the salon. I think what upset her the most is that the man came over & showed her what she had done & she just couldn't be wrong. She later follows me to the front desk & says she will take video & pictures of me so I pulled out my phone & took a video of her crashing out. I came in to get a soak off and was looked at with disappointment when that was all i asked for. The lady who took my nails off shaved them all the way down. Didn't soak anything off just drilled them all the way down, and left my nails feeling extremely thin and raw. I was charged $30 for a service i didn't even receive. read more

PROS: I like Nancy. She's my person because she's thorough, meticulous, neat and friendly. CONS: I've gone to the owners wife (I think - she's the one who always answers the phone and sets the appointments) she was not very friendly and rushed when giving me a manicure. It was supposed to have a relaxing experience... instead it was rushed... she barely touched my cuticles and didn't lotion my whole arm. She also speaks rather harshly to customers unless you're her customer. Definitely will wait for my person the next time. Lastly, they don't use covers/bags in the pedicure chair between clients. At one point I was getting a pedicure, she turned on the jets and after a minute or two the top of my foot started to itch... I reached down to scratch it and my nail came up full of dead skin. Before you say it was mine... NO. It was the top of my foot... If it had been the bottom of my foot I could understand that, but it wasn't it was the top of my foot which to me indicates that a bunch of dead skin left over from previous clients was pushed out when the jets were turned on... hence the itching. If rating my person she gets 5 stars. But the rating is overall and to that I can only give it a three. Get spa bags or covers for the basin between customers to avoid cross contamination and I'll change it to a 4. read more

I've been going to Annie's over the past 5 yrs I believe. Every time I visit the staff are kind and friendly which adds to the experience. They even remember my name (which is nice and makes my business with them feel appreciated). Their current prices are comparable to other shops and are resonable given the quality work they do. Over the years I've gotten acrylic/solar full-sets and fills, pedicures and eyebrow waxes. My most recent visit was great. My daughter and I both got deluxe pedicures and acrylic full sets. I really wish I could give 0 stars. I had been going to Annie's nail spa for around 3 years now.. loyally going to Andy and scheduling ahead of time. Although Andy has been direct with me in the past, this was an experience I've never encountered at any nail spa before. Andy was almost done with my nails. We were on the final top coat and I had to be out soon for work. I asked Andy if he could fix a spot on my nails, and he proceeds to explain why it can't be fixed. I noticed we had a miscommunication because I was referring the top of my nail and he was referring the side and how it won't stick to the side. I tried better to explain myself and he got aggressive. He started raising his voice on how "customers come in and think they know more than the owner".. proceeded by "why would you even get your nails done here if you don't trust me".. he then started globbing polish on my other hand..essentially going to redo all my nails when all I asked was for a little polish on a thinner area of a nail. I took my hand away and said "no please don't start over. I have a time crunch and the rest were fine." He then sits and explains why he is right and I am wrong instead of finishing my nails in a timely manner. When I told him "I don't care. I don't have time to start over now so I need to leave".. he told me he would "never do my nails again, ever and to "never come back"...And then proceeded to take forever on my nails to finish them off.. essentially holding me hostage. I kept trying to leave and he only went slower. I missed my work meeting and I also sat there crying in shock while he shook his head at me and said nothing. I have numerous stories of seeing Andy treat his employees with disrespect and other customers.. it is a very toxic environment.. I've seen him tell customers they messed their own nails up and proceed to punish them by making them sit there until he finishes new customers.. then he will get to fixing it after much time. I've also seen him tell a fellow employee that he can't be trusted to do anyone's nails (while the employee was actively doing someone's nails, which is humiliating for the employee) but this was by far the most aggressive he has been. He was yelling and raising his voice as I sat and cried. Scolding me like I was a disobedient child. Please save yourself some money and go elsewhere... not a relaxing or enjoyable experience. read more

I have been going to this nail salon for over 10 years. They're amazing! The owners are top notch and always accommodating.. I go to Michelle and she's so sweet and super quick as I have a busy schedule. She also can do any designs you want on your nails. They are very reasonable in price and always work me if I don't make an appt. Andy and Tammy (owners) are super funny and just as good! The old man who works there is mean and aggressive. He doesn't even try to understand what you want or how you want your nails to look, just keeps interrupting and yelling. Another lady understood me and came over to help, but by then I felt harassed and upset thanks to the old man's behavior. My daughter got a set of acrylics, but they started growing out the very next day. The place smelled really bad, too. Unsanitary. This place is located in a strip mall and the only reason I came here was because of the reviews. Cleanliness is a huge factor for me and this place did not even meet my minimum standards. They should be cleaning their instruments between each and every client, but instead I just saw them throw their tools back into their bins and move on to the next client. The nail polish selection wasn't very impressive either. A lot of the options looked like they had been sitting on the wall for centuries. The polishes had separated, labels weren't on the bottles, just crusty polish. My pedicure lasted maybe 1.5 weeks before chipping and I'm used to having my pedicures last for at least twice that. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Only reason for the two stars is they seemed friendly enough and I didn't have to wait. read more

I have had a series of bad experiences trying to get pedicures in Pflugerville....so I saw the good reviews on yelp and this was not far from my house so decided to give them a try. First thing saturday morning (well maybe not quite first thing, like an hour after they open) I decide to try a walk in appointment since I figure people might not be there so early. WRONG! It was super packed! But they got me in and had me sit and soak until they got to me. I had a very nice lady do my pedicure and she was very thorough but gentle with everything. I also got a good scrubbing on my heels which I felt like the other places around here don't do such a good job with...I mean that's the whole point of going to get a pedicure so you can walk out with pretty sparkling toes and smooth feet. Anyways, I am not sure if their hygiene standards are the greatest (the cheese grater type thing they used to get my heels scrubbed didn't look like she sanitized it before putting it back into the bin) but until I find something else that is better for the price, I will be coming back here...just as long as I don't have any open cuts on my feet and don't shave my legs within a day or so of visiting. Better to be safe than sorry and that is good advice when going to any nail salon! read more

Finally found a place that is clean and worth the time. Ladies do yourself a favor and make this your one stop shop for your nails and maybe brow waxing. I was seated right away on a Wednesday evening; 30 minutes before closing. I never felt rushed or pressured to get a certain color or service. I got my brows waxed (I typically thread), a clear shellac manicure and hot pink pedicure. I was in and out within an hour. Awesome and courteous service. read more

Well when I came here I was told it's because of my cuticles, and you have to clean them really well. She was right! I do hair so I'm always washing hands and nothing has lifted. Went to Anna's on 9/3/21. Looking forward to getting my nails done, had pics of what I wanted. Showed up, showed them what I wanted and they said no problem. The first pic is what I showed them, 2nd pic is what I got. I told them these don't look like the picture. They then said that the pic wasn't matte, which is what I wanted. They said the pic she had "shiny" nails , which showed the glitter more. I told them yes the nails in the pic are matte and the glitter is on top, which will leave the nails rough and not smooth. They just keep saying they aren't matte and now after I've been there for a hr that they couldn't do it like the pic I had. Went to pay and he changed me full price. I showed him my nails, and told him I'm not paying full price for these. He then gave me a discount but made sure he huff and puff the whole time. Immediately called bliss bar salon and they were able to get me in right away. It took 30mins to fix what Anna's messed up. I went into Annie's nails for a pedicure and a fill three days ago. The same day my polish began chipping and yesterday a nail completely broke. I came in today to get it repaired and change from regular polish to gel. I was told to wait so I did. I was then told to go take a seat at a station. I did so. This man then came over to work on my nails and rudely said "What color?!" I told him I'm unsure as it's been three days and there were hundreds of colors. Hoping that him being the professional he could assist me in color matching what they originally put on my nails and to the correct color. He became rude and aggressive. He began shouting at me, embarrassing me and making a scene. I told him multiple times I am a paying customer and he is being unprofessional but he continued to shout. The manager came over and began laughing. Not taking it seriously at all. I only came back here because they are the ones who originally did my nails and felt they were responsible for fixing. I already didn't plan on coming back because on my original visit they rushed through the pedicure and didn't take any time and then on my nails they did a horrible job as well. First off, I don't write a lot of reviews do either Annie's is great or really bad.....so I took my daughter to get her nails done(her hair stylist recommended them...esp Andy). Andy did her nails and they are pretty! I am a mama hen and as he was doing them I was watching him, making sure they were what she wanted and what I expected. (I've been getting my nails done since I was 15...I know quality nails when I see them!). My daughter had a very bad experience at Great Nails back in May for her 8th grade formal...that was her first set of nails and they were horrible. After a few years of being a faithful customer, having been referred BY a faithful customer & having brought them many faithful customers, after yesterday-I AM DONE. Lately the manager, Andy, has been having a little attitude & while the shop is great, and my tech was the bomb... He can fk himself with his "were the best shop-I don't need you attitude"... I was FIVE minutes late to my appointment, forgot my car needed gas, and I get there to find the place packed (on a Wed AM), and my tech 20 minutes into someone's nails. She's filing her ass off, and I'm like "hmmm"... This ain't first time, either. After 5 minutes of dilly-dallying around for a color, I ask him "what's up w my appt?", and he says w a shitty tone, "your 11:00 appt?"... I'd like to keep my Elite status, and didn't want to make a scene, but I HAD it. I said, "my appt that I was FIVE minutes late to, that she's 20 minutes into with WAY more than 20 minutes left till she's finished!"... He says something to my tech, and says "after 15 minutes I can give your appointment away".. I put my polish down, gave him a piece of my mind & walked out. He treats people he doesn't like, rudely! He's been rude to a customer I've sent who WAS a regular, and I've heard him bark @ others. He & his wife pick and choose who they greet, and how they talk to you. I went in two days ago, wanting white gel nails..and yesterday, I noticed they were streaky and purple. I couldn't call because it was thanksgiving. I called again today and the guy says that he told me that white was a problem and he's told me that before, when that wasn't true. I paid for them to look nice for photos and for maternity photos and they're ruined. I've never had this problem anywhere else, granted I'm new to the area, but this is very disappointing. read more

The owner Andy used unclean tools and the wife destroyed my nail bed. Which caused a nail bed separation. When I confronted them of this the owner became hostile and repeatedly said to other customers I didn't do. Then said I just did the fill. Denying the previous work he did. So be ware Onycholysis is caused by manicure tools that are pushed beneath the nail to clear dirt or smooth the nail. People that are not willing to own their work or mistakes is very poor business. What really takes the cake is he tried to plead his case with clients that just had their nails done. Then look at you like your the one that doesn't understand English!!! read more

I came in at about 4:30 on a Monday. I wanted my acrylics taken off and a gel polish put on. They had me wait for 5-10 min before seating me at a manicure station, then put the acetone on my fingers for what felt like a good 45 while they continued to accept more and more customers with no one to finish the job started on me. They asked customers to wait at nail stations and at pedicure chairs with no one to help them. I've worked in service-related jobs before and I know that you just shouldn't accept a customer if you don't have the staff to help them. The faces on several customers showed obvious annoyance and some got up and left. It would have been a much greater service to provide a customer with an accurate wait time to allow them to make their own decision on staying or coming back another time. With all of that said once I did receive service it was actually excellent. The person who took off my acrylics was quick, gentle, and thorough. They switched to someone else to finish my manicure, and she did a really wonderful job at carefully shaping my nails and two weeks later, my polish is a bit grown out but still looks great. I'm conflicted as to whether or not I'll go back. It was a frustrating experience, but I am really happy with how it came out. I might consider going back if I have some time during the morning of a weekday or some other off-hour. read more
