I normally never write reviews, but after this experience at Pfinesse -- Luxury Nail Care & Spa, I felt people should be aware. My spouse and I have visited this nail spa multiple times for pedicures, and this was our fourth visit. During this visit, my spouse selected the basic pedicure package, which clearly included regular nail polish color -- not gel polish. However, when we went to pay, they suddenly charged us an extra $18 claiming that gel polish had been used. We calmly explained multiple times that only the standard/basic color was selected and no gel service was requested at all. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employee who did the pedicure became extremely rude, started speaking aggressively in their own language, and accused us of lying. The male owner was also very dismissive and repeatedly insisted that we had used gel polish even after we explained the misunderstanding. Thankfully, the female owner acknowledged that the worker made a false accusation and agreed to refund the extra $18 charge. We appreciated that part, but the overall experience was extremely uncomfortable and disappointing. Customers should be very cautious when visiting this place. Double-check every service before paying, and make sure you clearly confirm what is being applied during your appointment. Unfortunately, there also seems to be a significant communication/language barrier, which made resolving the issue even more frustrating. Very disappointed after being repeat customers. read more

Don't judge what I'm holding lol been coming since 2018 and Iove the prices. Everyone is extremely friendly, I've never had an issue with any services. I don't ever feel rushed, I feel they take their time and ask you how is everything every step of the way to ensure you're happy with what you're getting. I have known Steve and his family for over seven years and I have been a customer there even though I have traveled all around the United States as a consultant I went to GP pro nails in Georgetown and they ruined my nails. They were horrible lumpy bumpy it just Steve himself was asking over and over what the heck happened but when you see the pictures below of such an incredible man that I had no appointment and he is so busy and I walked in there and he literally within five minutes got me in the chair fix my nails, he said is the detail too much I said no no just a color and then midway through I said what do you think you can do this? was extremely frustrated during my last visit. I had an appointment scheduled for 6 PM, but I did not get into a chair until 7:30 PM. That is an hour and a half wait, which is unacceptable, especially when I had made an appointment in advance. It seems you may be overbooking, and as a result, customers are left waiting for far too long. I make the commute of an hour to reach your salon, and having to wait that long for my appointment felt very discouraging. Ultimately, I had to leave with my nails only halfway done because it was 8 PM, which was incredibly disappointing. Additionally, I had to pay $50 for a service that I did not fully receive due to the long wait. read more

If you come in with the photo this, Salon does a great job in replicating as close as possible. I have been very satisfied with the quality of my nails and have usually been able to wait a month in between each visit. While they are not very speedy and I do not see the point in making appointments they are very efficient and not too expensive. read more

This review is long over due! I started going to Pfinesse salon & spa in 2022. I started off with Lindsey, she did a great job with my nails. She was not there one day so I let Kevin do my nails. Kevin was great and very meticulous. I loved my nails every time! Fast forward to 2023 I went to Finest salon & spa the other location to get a pedicure. It was the worst pedicure ever. There were just 2 women in the shop. I told them that I wanted acrylic on my big toes. Instead of them letting me know they didn't know how to do the acrylic nails on toes they did it anyway. The nails were thick and crooked. I was very disappointed, I told them that I wanted them off. The lady took them off, and got finished with me. I paid still tipped. Left out very upset! Once I walked out I called Steve at Pfinesse, I explained to him what happened and he did tell me that I could come to Pfinesse and they would fix it for me. At this point I wasn't in the mood, I had already been in the other shop almost 2 hours for a simple pedicure. I also was preparing to go out of town the next day. I wish I had taken a picture of my feet before they took the acrylic off, I didn't realize I would need proof to back my concern up. I never had an issue with this shop until this day!! To my dismay when I tried to schedule my nail appointment online with Kevin I was blocked from booking! It popped up online that I need to call in order to schedule. That for me ended my future business with Pfinesse, it definitely felt like it was decided for me due to the fact I was blocked from being able to book future bookings online. This nail salon is the best in the Pflugerville area! I've been coming here for about 2 years now and have used almost every nail tech there - they are all so talented and very friendly!!! Kevin is my favorite but all the ladies here are wonderful! There's also two locations but I go to the original one in downtown Pflug. They are busy most of the time, so I'd recommend an appointment, going on a weekday, or expect to wait around 20 min or so but they always try to accommodate walk-ins or will let you know if it will be longer wait times. I've witnessed customers who a rude to staff here because of wait times - just be nice, people!!! This place stays busy because they are THAT good. They offer snacks and drinks to all customers which is a nice touch! Also, bring cash because they offer a small discount if paying with cash but they do take credit cards. Like a previous review mentioned, even though I had an appointment (that their system beautifully reminded me of), I think I only sat down right away because I was first to walk in when they opened 2. It wasnt a super relaxing experience; loud, busy, lots of hustle and bustle. I assume it's worse as the day goes on and on the weekends. Made an appointment for Saturday at 9 am with Mindy for pedicure/color change and wax. I got there right on time and there was only one nail technician and there were other four ladies with 9 am appointments. It was not until 10:30 am that Cathy started attending me. Apparently, Mindy was triple booked for 9 am. Cathy was the sweetest lady ever and was very apologetic even though it was not her fault. However, she was being rushed and did a poor job on my color change and an even worse job on my pedicure. She also cut me several times with the pedicure tools. I didn't even have time to complain cause by the time I was done with everything it was already noon and I had another appointment at that time. This was one of the best pedicures I've ever had. I opted for the sports pedicure. It's recommended for athletes or people who are hard on their feet. The foot massage was amazing! It's similar to reflexology, and my pedicurist relieved so much pain by hitting pressure points. The polish job was impeccable as well. I usually opt for white polish on my toes, and I often leave other shops disappointed because white polish will definitely look flawed if not done properly.
