It is very simple and no frills here, but you get great and friendly service. Lots of people the owner seems to be on a first name basis with. I went back to Rose Nails in Hutto, Texas today. I had some errands to run and found myself with a free few minutes. I am so glad I did. They always make me feel like family from the moment I walk through the door. There is a reason they are the only ones allowed to touch my feet. As a type 1 diabetic, foot injuries can be life threatening or debilitating at the very least. The owners, Phong and T are aware of this and take painstaking effort to make sure every utensil they use on me is completely sterile, but they do that for everyone else as well. They did a wonderful job on my feet and hands. I usually always get a flower on my big ties but today I asked him if he could try and do a copy of my tattoo since I am going to Sherwood Forest Faire Renaissance festival this weekend. It's a Celtic love knot that means eternal love that my oldest son had designed for me. Phong drew it free hand and did a great job too. They always take such great care of me. As long as they are in business, they have my loyalty. read more

Every time I come, the customer service is excellent! The owner of the salon is very sociable which I LOVE. He takes the time out to joke, chat, & get to know his customers. He is very very good at remembering names, & faces. Every time somebody walks in he calls them by name. To me, it's excellent customer service because it makes his clients feel welcome, & important. Aside from that, the work is great. I wish they had more shellac nail polishes to choose from but that's okay! I recommend this place to everyone :) read more

This place is just awesome. Everytime I go there I am treated so well. All of the girls are very good at eye brow waxing. I have very thick, hard to manage eye brows. And, alot of times, when I've tried other places I get burned. I have never been burned here. They also do a great job on my nails. They know me by name and that means alot. Great place! read more

I went to Rose Nails in Hutto yesterday and it was one of the BEST pedicures EVER! She did a great job on the nails and then had a GREAT foot and leg massage with the pedicure. They are extremely friendly and greeted their regular customers by their first name when they walked in the door. The manager also put a flower on my nails without charging me :) and their pricing is excellent! I will definitely be back! read more

Not happy with my experience so far. Came in for a pedicure and found the manicurist using her nails to clean off polish from my cuticles. When she was almost done, I told her that there was polish on my cuticles. She said it's the plush to which I responded, no it's the application. She offered to remove the polish. I felt like she was arguing with me. It's funny I've had the same polish before and have never had my cuticles polished. One star given because she took off the polish. read more

Absolutely wonderful place to get a pedicure and manicure. They have the comfy spa chairs that have massage settings, but the people who work there really make the place awesome. Terrible terrible terrible !!! The air was too thick for starters to where I had to ask for a mask and when I did the older guy had an attitude. Well I'm used to smelling this stuff but there was no air flowing out with clean air coming in. The older guy told me to go somewhere else because my health is important. REALLY?!!!! Dude I only asked for a mask because apprntly you dont have air flowing through this place.. He actually told me to go somewhere else while i'm sitting in his chair.. I didn't say anything about my health just the fact that the air was overwhelming. Normally if you go to a nail salon their doors are cracked or air is flowing along with fans. NO!!! not at this place.. I have never been treated so badly. I got up and I said you know what, you're right I'll go somewhere else and pay my money since you dont want to service me. I was actually nice about the situation because I know its my choice to go there with all the fumes in the air but DANG!! NEVER again.. MYSTIC Nails on anderson land near burnet road has my bizness now.. Even thought I live in Hutto I drive all the way there because they treat me with respect\, they're friendly, concerned, loving and if I'm working late or whatever they'll even stay open late for me or whoever.. If I could give a negative, I would. From the moment I walked in, I was uncomfortable. The gentleman who works there seemed really friendly but everyone else looked at me like I had no business being there. It seems as though everyone is real friendly with their regulars which is great, but I don't know how they get regulars if everyone who walks through the door feels as unwelcome as I was made to feel. Just about everyone who walked through the door was offered a drink, not once was I asked. I asked for a fill and color change and for my toes to be done. She did great on my hands, but then just took off and changed my nail color and was done....umm I'm sorry what! And when I asked her if I could get an ACTUAL pedicure she looked at me like I was crazy and proceeded to tell me what I had asked for. Apparently I went to the only nail salon that will just paint your nails. Usually when I say toes a pedi is implied. Like if I were going to just do that I would have saved myself $40 and painted my own damn nails! just spent around $100 in here, I much prefer my usual place in Taylor, TL Nails, where I get more services, way better service, and for at least half the price. Never again will I be coming here and I will most definitely not be recommending them to ANYONE I know. I will make it a point to steer them AWAY from this business. read more

Worst place ever. I've been trying to find a new nail place since I moved here in February, so Ive been looking for a competent one that has good customer service. When I called and spoke to gentleman named Fan he was a little rude on the phone but I took that to be just his matter of fact tone about what was wrong with the other places I've tried. When I got there his attitude was down right rude. I was leaving to go out of town in two hours so I just didn't respond to his rudeness. He was very matter of fact about not wanting to do shellac polish (plus he wanted $32 just to do that) so I just picked another one and he didn't like that color and told me so but j told him I did so he reluctantly applied it. After putting me under the dryer for a few minutes he came over and said they were done I took them out and it was obvious they weren't dry but I just wanted out of there so I paid and left. Polish started peeling that night and nails started lifting where he refilled 4 days later. I just called to tell him the problem and asked when I could come in and he said 45 minutes and hung up on me. I thought maybe my phone cut out so I called back twice and he answers, doesn't say anything then hangs up. I now understand why there are bad reviews on this place. I always make my own decision even after I read reviews, wish I had listened to the ones on this place and spent my money elsewhere. Now I'm off to find another place near Hutto read more

AMAZING! That is the only way to explain Rose Nails. I have been going to Rose Nails for almost 10 years and I have NEVER had a bad experience. The staff is kind, respectful, and extremely funny. They greet you by name (if you have been before) and with a smile. I now live in downtown Austin but I still drive to Hutto to get my nails done. The prices are great and the facility is very sanitary. Their work is great and T can literally do it all!!!! When I was in High School I would show her all kinds of crazy designs and she was able to do every single one! T and Phong aren't just the owners to me, they are like family. If you are looking for a place that does a fabulous job and a staff that actually cares about their clients then you need to go to Rose Nails! Trust me, it's worth it! read more

I had gone to Rose Nails before for eyebrow waxing, manicure, and pedicure. I didn't hesitate to go there for my Shellac manicure....NEVER AGAIN! I had gotten a shellac manicure at another salon and absolutely loved it! It was just too far for me to drive to so I figured I'd stick close to home. The whole time I was getting manicured, the technician kept repeating that she didn't like shellac because it wasn't smooth and it didn't look like a regular manicure. I figured she just wasn't confident and dismissed it. I asked for a french manicure and she did just that. Except, the white part was covering half my nail. I explained that I wanted it smaller and she seemed to get annoyed, but ultimately fixed it. I noticed the shellac was a bit tacky and not at thick as they were when I got it before, so I asked her and she wiped it with alcohol and said that it needed to dry. I got home and SEVERAL hours later, the nails were still sticky and now they were peeling! I put a coat of clear nail polish and went to bed. The next morning I returned to the salon and explained my issue. I asked her to fix it and she said I should "try somewhere else", which I did. She did offer me a refund, which I accepted. I was extra annoyed because I had called and spoke to the owner before just showing up and asked if they were trained to apply shellac to which the owner said yes. I will return for a wax and regular polish, but never again for shellac!! Also, they use a brand of shellac I have never seen! read more

I never do these review things but I am highly dissatisfied with the work they did to me yesterday 7/11/14 me and my sister went in right at 7pm they offered to let us in so we did, they started the water for pedicures everything started good then the older man started asking questions since we were from Taylor about the businesses in town he talked down on a business that has been around and does a great job! Why talk down on a business you're no better!!! Second the lady who did my pedicure did not do her job right she completely turned around the routine for the pedicures started painting my toes with no massage she said I'll do it after, so I said okay I wasn't going to argue but not only did I get a short leg massage but I got no toes massage & the other lady who did my sisters pedi did all full massages so I was really upset about that, and since it was our first time going I expected the chairs or whatever to give us back massages since the places we go when we're have pedicures they have those on and we did not!!! Just plain sitting there so we are sitting down getting our toes dried and we pay, the change was $10 the girl gave my sister the change and both her and the lady who did my pedicure basically did not want to give us our $10!!! Gave us strongly looks money hungry looks but did not do a good job!! We did give them tips just because they did stay after 7 but still I'm so upset NEVER EVER GOING BACK!!!!!!! Bad experience ever!!!! Please show this to them I don't care they need to treat their customers right!!!! Forever loving Taylor nail salons!!!! read more
