I went there to get a Gel manicure during my lunch break and I do like the space. it was my first time there. But it does annoy me that they can't even speak English to say hello, how are you? I mean you are working for a service and tips, at least pretend. The nails were ok and had an Ok finishing. Very friendly staff. It was my first time coming in for a pedicure and felt that Tina was very welcoming and attentive. Another customer arrived while I was there and they were chatting like good friends. I appreciate that the staff maintains a relationship with their regular customers. Best pedicures in town!! Tina, who owns and runs this salon, is amazing!! She stays up to date on the latest nail fashions and can do almost anything you ask for. As long as you have a picture, she has the tools and supplies to get it done. She makes all of her own solar powders and so has a lot of colors to offer that other salons don't. I came in today to get a pedicure and gel polish manicure. As usual it was awesome! It's amazing how fast these ladies can make my feet look human again lol. The salon isn't the fanciest place in looks, but they are very thorough and take their time to do the best work. Everyone that works here is talented and fun. This is what my nail looked like after I soaked it. Mind you this is WEEKS later and it has since grown out. This is how deeply and badly she sliced my nail! If I were to clip it where it's broken, I would bleed. But it's bending and it's catching on things and is painful. Mind you, I soaked my nails off. This place is okay. They are very accommodating and take last minute appointments and walk ins which I appreciate. I got my lashes and my nails done there. My nails were okay. My lashes I would never get done here again. I was told they would be individuals and that they would last a few weeks. It has been 2 weeks and almost all of them have come out. Not fallen out as my real lashes aren't coming with them. They are also in clumps. It looks like 5 lashes were glued together to make them more full and the glue was very clumpy and dark. I may return for my nails at some point though. 3 out of 5 because their customer service is awesome read more

I wish that I could give them Negative stars. I went there on Sunday afternoon to get a full and color change, the guy said I would have to take off my set I had just gotten because of the powder color, or I could just get a dark color on top. So I chose to get a dark color. The VERY NEXT DAY, the color was already peeling off my nails. They charged me $40 plus I gave a $7 tip, and my nails now look WORSE than before I walked in!! I will NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN, and I will tell anybody and everybody BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE. I tried to go back and get them fixed and of course they were closed, this was yesterday, Tuesday. This is the worst set of nails I have ever gotten In my life, as you can see in these pictures, I wouldn't believe that I had just gotten these done on Sunday!! 3 days ago!!! I had a horrible experience here. I was doubled up on by 2 women for a mani/pedi, I guess to save on time but the one doing my pedi kept going back and fourth between me and two other clients. She barely scrubbed my feet and I could see where my old polish had not been completely removed and new polish applied. My shellac mani chipped the very next day. I didn't even bother going back to have them fix. I mean they didn't bother to make me feel like business was appreciated at all there anyway. read more

I was referred to Tina from one of the girls at my bank. I really liked the way her nails looked and the places I had been going really were terrible. Tina took time to explain some issues with my nails that I had never been told before that are very helpful and she delivered exactly the shape, length ad style I asked for. She specializes in Solar nails and this is my first set of them and I am sold. I don't know that I will ever go back to acrylic again. I would give this a five star but the shop is old and not as "professional" as I would like but overall, I had a pleasant experience and Tina was GREAT! I was told I can sip a glass of wine also while I get my nails or pedicures done and I thought that was a nice touch. I have read some negative reviews on their pedicures but I will give them the benefit of a doubt and try my next one there. Went to this place because of all the good reviews that I read and I personally would NOT go back. Yes the place was nice, chill, and clean but I DID NOT like how my nails came out. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and it was no where near how I wanted my nails and I even told him. The deluxe pedicure I got wasn't even worth the money... I even paid the extra $15 so I wouldn't have to wait for my toe nails to "DRY" and all she did was put glitter nail polish which wasn't exactly what I wanted. My nails aren't even the same length or even. I told her and she said it was ok. Only good thing is they do give you a free drink. I normally don't write reviews but this was a MUST!! This place isn't sanitary. They was removing the callus off my feet with the steel callous remover. Each time using she was tapping on the trash. I told her I don't have a lot of callous so I told her to stop thats unsanitary. She refuse to stop and then try to tell me a joke. They need to find better ways to structure pedicures. There is one girl there that I do not like to get a pedicure from. After she removes all of my callouses.....she shows me all the dead skin!!! GEE, Thanks ..... just what I want to look!! Tina is amazing! I have been searching for an artist who knows what they are doing and I finally found her at Dragon Nails! Tina and the staff are amazing! I have had my nails done for a month already and advised her that I only go once a month and still today, on day 25 I still get compliments on how nice my nails look. When I tell people that they are a month old, they cannot believe the work! So, if you do not have time to RELAX, do not try to push your way in to see Tina to fix your bad work from somewhere else, it will take time because she is a Nail Artist, not a Nail Tech! Don't come here for your lashes. I saw the work they did on a client and her lashes were falling out in clumps. I felt really bad for her, as I am someone who regularly visits lash technicians. I guess the word of advice is: Do not go to nail salons to get your lashes done, especially not here where they don't hold themselves accountable for bad work. First time i came in this place and never going back. spent about 50$ on a full set. I picked a design and the lady said "yeah i can do" needless to say it looked nothing like the design i wanted, nails were just horrible. Used so much acrylic that it looked like i had little hills on the top of my nails some of them not all. anyway besides all that i came home and 2 days later 2 of my nails just come off. uggh im so upset because i spent so much money. Terrible pedicure and even worse manicure. Would not recommend this place. I'm from California, came to round rock for a wedding. For a 25 fee for a pedicure, I expect some sort of massage. Nope, nothing. I had shellac and needed my nails soaked for a regular manicure, the soak was stupid. She ended up having to scrap the gel off, not all the way off I might add. I still have bits of left over gel underneath my polish. The manicurist did my file my nails, they are jagged. And I have nail polish on my cuticles and underneath my nails that is very visible. My nails and toe nails looked better before I came in here than coming out, for 60 bucks.... NOT worth it. At all, go to Element across the freeway and wait for an hour for service before coming here. read more

Recently I went to Dragon nails to get my fake french tips on for prom and it was a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. First off, I showed the man doing my nails a picture of what I wanted which was a rounded french tip and he gave me square so when I got home I had to FILE THEM MYSELF. But, when he was using the electric file he filied my nails along with FILING MY SKIN OFF in two different places causing it to bleed along with using a block file where in the first attempt to file my nail down he CUT MY PINKI FINGER AND IT STARTED TO BLEED. At this point I was extremely fed up but when I got home my hands and fingers where VERY SORE I'm not sure why but I was in a lot of pain. But worst of all about a week after getting my nails done I noticed a BROWN DOT UNDERNEATH MY FAKE NAIL I didn't think anything of it I figured it was make up or dirt but eventually when I took off my fake nails off I realized that the brown dot was not coming off and that MY NAIL IS INFECTED. Overall, I would never ever ever go back to this nail salon because THE TOOLS ARE NOT CLEAN AND THE EMPLOYEES HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. This place used to be really good, but they have gone wayyyyyyyyy down hill. The bowl of water used to soak my hands was a left over bowl of COLD water from the person before me. She also didn't replace the towel that was laid out on the table. My shellac nail job was okay, but it wasn't near as good as other places. Just very disappointed. read more
