I am sad to say, I regret having to write this review. I got a gel manicure done here for my birthday and they did a pretty good job. The color lasted a long time, and I enjoyed my manicure while it lasted. Then I went back into the salon to get the gel removed. Truth be told, I don't get manicures much, and I don't have much frame of reference for proper manicure removal techniques. Anyway, they used a DRILL to remove the polish on my nails. That would have been fine if they'd only drilled off the gel part and removed the rest by some other means. But they drilled directly onto my nail. I normally have very strong thick nails that grow long and healthy. But because they drilled the top layers of my nails off, my nails are now thin, bendy, and weak. I am absolutely devastated because whole nails take at least 6 months to grow back. In essence, because of how they removed the polish, I will have crap nails until they fully grow back. Don't go here unless they change and learn how to remove nail polish in a safer, more professional way. Extremely upset and disappointed. read more

I came to this location with the intentions on finding a new routine nail salon, as I am new to the area. When I got there, I saw ONE customer and a man doing her nails. He asked me what I wanted and told me there was a wait. I said ok, as I was in NO rush at all. It was almost like he wanted me to leave immediately. I could hardly understand him but it sounded like he was saying u got other errand to run? Go and come back later. I said no I don't, and sat down. He kept asking me to come back. What was the big deal about sitting down to wait??? How freakin rude and annoying. Do better, maybe you would have more business in there. Would not recommend this place. Very unwelcoming. Went in for a manicure and pedicure I was there for a really long time. I liked the pedicure but when It got to the manicure it was terrible. I was cut and one of my fingers was bleeding. The hunt for best weekend pedicure continues - but they were indeed a contender. Just not the winner. Eight pedicure stations, eight manicure stations, and private rooms for waxing. Your basic strip-mall setup. TV tuned to the Travel Channel, at mild volume. So many customers arrived at once (including us) that the owner phoned her staff and more technicians arrived within minutes. Everyone chatted like regulars. Got the deluxe pedicure and a basic manicure (no painting). Alas, the sweet, quiet woman who worked with me did a terrible job of painting (lots of paint on my toes overflowed onto my skin) and filed my finger nails very poorly. The edges were not smooth and she left at least two felons (those pointy sharp cuticle ends). My friend got better treatment, I think, since her fingernails looked really smooth. I asked for minor fixes, and got them, but still had to do more touch-up at home. About average massage time on the legs and feet. None of the strange pounding/thumping massage (thankfully!). Everything looked clean, but I just wasn't impressed to the point of swearing devotion. Wasn't offered a drink, but all the other ladies were sippin' on their Sonics, so maybe drinks are BYOB. So.. I've been here twice for a mani/pedi and it is so far the best place I've found in my area. The location is in a little strip mall, sitting in front of the HEB at the corner of Bell and Whitestone in Cedar Park. There is a private lot for the mall, but parking is a little tight. The salon is clean and a bit older than some. The chairs, some are older than other with limited massage options, but still work well. Bowls are clean and they bring clean tools to work with for each customer. I've never had to wait for service. There are always plenty of staff to help. The pedis have been great and I'm always pleased. The massages are nice and lengthy, nail work is thorough, and polish designs have been lovely for both my daughter and I. The ladies do converse with each other a lot in their foreign tongue, so if that bugs you...you've been warned. The do try to up sell and offer designs, mani, waxing. We always do our brows while we are there. They do an excellent job. Not high pressure, and it's nice to be offered the additional service. No water or wine offered, but the salon overall is where I'll go until I hear of something better. read more

If I could rate lower than one star I would. I called this nail salon to ask how much a pedicure is and they said $25 (I was paying for 3). Well, the nail salon over charged me $15 and when I wanted to talk to someone everyone ignored me. They refused to give me my money back because they said that they told me a pedicure is $30. Besides that even the service was poor. My water was cold and when I told them they said it would get warm soon but it never did and they never fixed it. Horrible nail salon. I had lash extensions done one week ago back home. She did my lashes longer than usual so I was having a few problems. Usually if another aesthetician does your lashes, it's really difficult for another to accept to fill or touch your lashes. Chloe (Palmer & 1431) made me an appointment in 20 minutes from the time I called....same day service! She did an amazing job and took her time with me. I truly recommend her for any service. I got the natural pedicure for $29 and it was awesome. They use great products; much better than an average nail salon. They also included a parrafin wax for this price. The salon was very friendly and didnt try to sell me a whole bunch of products, even though they sell the natural products they use. I will be going back. read more

I came here with a group of ladies preparing for a bride's wedding that next day. If only my nails made it to the next day. The location is older and the inside doesn't look like it's seen any updates as of lately. They had made appointments for us but there wasn't enough staff for the whole group. Both the bride's mom and I sat there in the pedi chairs with empty bowls while we waited for staff to free up. I was a few minutes late getting there but even if I have to wait I'm used to someone coming around to at least add water and the massage feature to the bowls. Despite the fact that the bride and her mom are regular customers and we were there with a group for a special occasion, there was no offer for a drink, not even a water or anything. When it was finally our turn, they came and turned the water on. It came out scorching hot so I asked if she adjust it. Her fix was to make it ice cold. I would have asked her to try for something in between but she didn't come back until it was full to turn it off. So again I asked her to adjust the water and explained it was cold water running out. She tried to add hot water to it but it was already full and the water she was adding wasn't going to make a difference. Seeing this I kept telling her she would have to drain the bowl out to make room for hot water. She left and came back with a small plastic bowl, (from the sanitary break room I guess?) which she used to scoop water out and dump it in the empty foot bath next to me?!?! I guess they couldn't just drain it? It was taking forever so finally I just told her not to worry about it. They did use a liner in the bowl of slightly lukewarm water but other than that there was no proof of the equipment being used as sterilized. Normally they pull it out of a bag for each new guest. I wasn't offered a menu of services or even asked what kind of pedicure I wanted. I was just given a pedicure. I thought maybe they didn't have options but then I saw someone being handed a menu. At that point it was too late to ask. I was already being given whatever service she decided to give me. I still don't even know which one it was. After I was done, I sat there for quite some time talking to my mom who was next to me and the bride sitting across from me while we waited for others to complete their services. Easily enough time for my nail polish to be completely dry and I was wearing slippers to leave. Oddly enough, the next day I look down and the polish on half of my nails was gone in spots. One nail was completely gone except for the edge of my nail. Even if I managed to somehow mess it up there is no way I messed them all up so unevenly. I don't know if she didn't put enough coats on or if the nail polish is old or cheap or what but that was ridiculous. I went back to the salon a couple days later and showed her my nails as well as brought in my receipt. She said it would just take a minute and they would fix it. (Only a minute? Maybe that's why it didn't stay on?) I kept explaining to her that I have my kids in the car and I wasn't going to make them wait out there for me. She told me to come back then another time and they would fix it. The truth is after the experience I had I have no interest in coming back but instead I tried to be nice and just said it wasn't convenient. I asked if they would refund me instead. She said they couldn't and so I asked if I could speak to the manager. The manager wasn't in. I asked for the manager's name which she gave me but I asked her to write it down so I would remember. Instead she hands me a business card. No manager's name on it. So again I ask her if she will write it down. She did but the name she wrote down didn't match the name she had just verbally said and then proceeds to tell me that the manager was on vacation. Not worth my time going back. Just going to go to any number of other nearby salons to have a much more sanitary, relaxing and longer lasting experience. read more

Went in today for a relaxing Sunday pedicure and was told to pick my color and have a seat, there was no mention of a wait. I have eyes so I could tell they were busy. After 25 minutes I asked how long it would be. I was told 5-10 more minutes, 20 minutes later I decided to just leave as I was frustrated and really no longer had the time. Got gel acrylics here before my vacation, 2 days after I had a nail come off and had to get it fixed. Then roughly 8 days later my nails had started to hurt so I went to a nail salon on vacation and turns out I had lifting on every single nail, and was on the road to start getting fungus. I have been going to this nail salon for 9 years! I don't have a particular manicurist that I go to since every one of them I've seen does a great job! I'm a licensed cosmetologist so I keep an eye out for sanitation procedures and also making sure each manicurist has a license with their picture. I've had great experience getting manicures, pedicures, full set acrylics, fills, & waxing. Occasionally I take my 7 year old daughter with me to get a mani/pedi. Everyone is friendly and the new remodel is very sleek and professional. Highly recommended! read more

I would never use this nail salon again. I just wanted a simple manicure. I brought my own nail polish. While she was polishing my nails, she took a personal phone call...very unprofessional. While trying to handle the phone and the nail polish, she dropped my nail polish brush on the filthy floor. I could have done a better job of painting my own nails...she got polish all over my skin on the edges of my nails that she never removed...and in other places she didn't even cover the entire nail with polish. She put the polish on so thick that it never dried. I had to remove the polish later because it was such a mess. To make matters worse...I called the salon later to ask for a refund. The employee who answered refused to take down my number to have the manager call me back. I sent the owner an email through their web site, but she has not contacted me back. I went to this place when I first moved to the area and made an appointment but when I got there they took walk ins and my appointment was not honored. I only went back because I was given a gift certificate. The prices in the photo on yelp is not what they charge. But the prices in the picture are still up in the salon. They don't tell you the new prices until you are in the chair. I did not make an appointment and this time they took 3 people that came in after me because supposedly they had an appointment or maybe it was because they were having more than a pedi done. They need a receptionist or someone who can take care of things when it is busy. They sat me down and turned on boiling water on my feet. When I said something they turned it to cold... like there was no medium setting. I was not happy... they left wax on my feet and she was constantly interrupted with taking calls or collecting money from other people or checking water temperature on other clients. Will not go back. 1890 Ranch nail place is where I usually go and will go back there. Their prices are clear and they have a receptionist to help out in busy times. read more

I came here to get my nails done for my graduation. I bite my nails and the nail technician kept trying to make me get them as short as possible and that I can't get them any longer and I told her ive gotten nails longer than that lots of time and she said next time she won't do them that long (there will not be a next time) and she kept calling other nail technicians to come look how short my nails are and they were all laughing at me. Went there with my mom and grandmother. We paid for the full package for our feet and hands. They didn't file our nails, didn't put the hot towles on us the towles were part of the package, and they rushed painting our nails. With in 15 mins of leaving my polish came off of two fingers. We bought nail polish from them 8 bucks a bottle and they sold us a half empty one. Didn't notice it was half empty till we got home.To top it off after spending over 100 for all three of us we got planters warts from here. They didnt starlize their tools. Don't go here unless you are fine with tools that aren't starlized very well. read more

Everyone at spa pro nails is very nice and helpful. But Helen by far is my favorite. She has been doing my nails since I moved back to Texas in 2005 and if she isn't there I will come back when she is there. The new product that is supposed to be all natural is AWESOME. My nails look and feel so light and last longer then any other I have ever had before. Helen now also runs Happy Nail in Cedar Park right next to the old albertsons, the new Big Lots. I do recommend that you make an appointment as they are busy all the time. read more

However, when I checked out, I was charged an extra $5 because I asked for 2 lines to be added to 2 of my toes. $5 seems a bit expensive. Pedicure wasn't on the cheap side to begin with.
