Charged $5 dollars to remove a 6 week gel polish on my toe nails, since I did not get gel on my toes for the first time in 6 years. Charged an additional $5 dollars to Almond shape my natural nails, that had almond tips on them. Great job continuously helping my natural nails grow with their expertise nail techs. My usual pedi tech is on vacation and the gal who did my pedicure did a very minimal pedicure, definitely not worth the $40 bucks. After 6 years I will bid them all good bye. I have referred so many clients to them and to charge me extra was very discouraging and hurtful. I'm a good tipper and always greeted kindly. I've never complained about their prices always varying. Off top I had a pleasant experience at Clover Nail. I was greeted, the process and prices were explained and it was very clean. Social distancing was practiced and my nail tech was beyond a perfectionist. She took her time and made certain I was satisfied before charging me anything. I was not pressured to get more than what I asked for and I felt like I was getting what I paid for. The only hiccup I have is when I called to ask about services and if I need an appointment I was told yes. I wanted a pedicure but was told they were booked. While I got my nails done a lady walked in for a pedicure and when she explained she had no appointment she was still seated for a pedicure. Clover nails is simply the best nail salon I have ever been to. I am very picky about where I get my nails done as I want them perfect but at a reasonable price. I walk in and they treat me like family, they don't pressure me for extra services, and they don't make me wait for my appointment. AND my nails come out beautiful every single time. I always go with John as him and I have built a friendship but all they other nail techs are good as well! Michelle is a sweetheart and is also very welcoming and friendly to everyone! The only thing I liked about this entire experience was how fast they were and the decorations. They're super nice, sure. But if the quality isn't there why would I go back? My sns and gel toes took 50 mins (which is fast asf!) and now I see why. Everything on my nails is lumpy and due to the salon being SO DARK I couldn't notice it until I got home. What you think looks like two+ weeks of growth is actually ONE due to the lack of efficiency. Won't be returning and definitely feel like their other reviews are misleading. In my time living in the CP area, I ONLY went to Clover Nails. I loved all of their staff, especially Michelle and John! They did amazing work and art on my nails and Michelle was always able to recreate inspiration pictures I would bring in, no matter the detail. When I started coming, my natural nails were so short and brittle, but over time they grew and grew until I was able to get awesome shapes and designs without every getting tips! The conversation they made was always so enjoyable and the prices are SO reasonable! I have no idea how I'll be able to find a nail salon that lives up to my expectations after going here for so long. Will definitely be returning here to get my wedding nails done. I am always hesitant to review places after only going one time but this place is definitely worth coming to! It was really busy due to it being Mother's Day weekend but the team here managed to squeeze me in for a pedicure and full set with no problem. There was a slight wait but they were extremely apologetic about it! Michelle is very friendly and actually took the time to get to know me while doing my nails, which I appreciate since I'm new to the area. John has been doing my nails he does a great job he's fast and good. Channel did my pedicure and she did the designs on my nails. Channel really pays attention to detail, she's very sweet and I really liked the designs on my nails and I haven't had any type of designs on my nails in years. I went on FB to make my appointment. I had asked for a nail tech that was Experienced in solar. I went in to the Salon and I was greeted. The salon looked nice, however I was asked to pick out my color. I had asked for the solar options. They had very little selection and I was not told that in conversation making the appointment on Facebook. I had my appointment with John.He dis not talk to me much. I tried to make small talk but he was not having it. He was a bit aggressive with my hands. He left me at the table several times bc my nails were soaking off or drying. Not personable. I asked if he can do any designs on my nails. He aggressive in his response that he did not do any designs. He filed my nails to the meat of the nail bed. I felt so awkward and as if they didn't want my business or didn't want me there because I was the last client of the day. I felt rushed and not welcome. He finished my nails and they looked OK not what I wanted but obviously I want with it. I got to the point where I was paying for my service and the lady who was taking care of me responded: "Are you ready for your damages?" I said yes I can pay. I feel they were very unprofessional. I will not be going there again based off of poor customer service. I should have been told upfront they don't have many color selections for solar. read more

I'll start by saying that I really, Really wanted to like this place because I've seen it recommended so much, but I'm afraid that beyond the chill atmosphere and excellent level of cleanliness it fell far short of expectations. I always 'test' out a new salon by getting a basic mani/pedi, which is just what I did with this place. I added a callus remover upgrade to my basic pedi for an additional $5, but didn't buy in on the paraffin upsell or any designs, etc. The technician was very friendly but aggressive and a bit haphazard in her technique. I left the salon with several raggedly trimmed cuticles, one bleeding cuticle, and raw spots on my feet from the 'cheese grater' she used on my calluses. The next morning my feet were incredibly dry and sensitive- had to quickly slather them in moisturizer and put on some socks before I even got out of bed. Maybe I got the new girl? Or maybe she was just having an off day? IDK, but I'm not sure I'm willing to give them a second chance when they drew blood on the first try. read more

Been here 3 times for pedicures. The first one was amazing. The second was ok. This past one was not good. The middle toes on both feet were only painted about 2/3. Lots of unpainted gap around the sides. Maybe time to try somewhere else. They are very inconsistent. read more

For the past 4 months I have been coming to this salon and have yet to be disappointed. Each time I get my SNS manicure with John and he is amazing! Always fast, clean, and my nails always turn out to be exactly what I ask for. My nails usually last 3-4 weeks without any lifting which is always a plus, so I go back and John removes my previous nails with no additional charge! The staff there is always very friendly. This new nail salon opened shortly before the Quarantine so I had not tried it even though I live nearby. When it reopened on May 8th and the salon I'd been using is still closed, I called for an appointment. Best move I ever made! It's very nice, clean and even has Plexiglass partitions at the nail stations. Best of all, it's not elbow to elbow people like the others I've visited. John did my dipped nails and I love them! I don't usually write reviews, but after my experience today I felt that I needed to. This is my 3rd time coming to this salon, second where I got a simple design on my nails. The atmosphere is great - friendly, clean, open. However, I feel that the quality of work does match at all. When I arrived a had a nice gentleman start my new acrylic set, a fill in with new gel polish. He was fairly quiet, which is fine as I haven't been often enough to know many of the techs. After he had completed the fill in, I was asked to walk to another lady's station for my design. She was also quiet, but did discuss the design with me (green tips, a few white flowers, and a small frog). I really should have left it as just the tips and frog, as my flowers seem haphazardly done and messy. None of them are consistent in size and shape, and she seemed to get very frustrated with it. Never was asked to wash my hands (as I had done in previous visits) and was simply asked to pay when finished. Didn't seem to he the right amount for a refill and new polish, but I paid and left. Not sure if I will return, as it is 20mins from my house, but was definitely not pleased with my visit today. read more

My nails are ruined. Had a dip manicure at Clover nails and returned three weeks later to have it removed. They used a drill to remove the polish/dip and damaged my nail beds. Now they look dented, bumpy, and bruised. One nail became infected at the cuticle. They won't grow and are extremely brittle. Going to the doctor this week because a couple of my nails look so discolored I'm worried about infection. read more
