My nails (regular polish) after a week!! How do they still look this good?!

I went in to get my sns nails removed and regular polish placed as my nails can't tolerate gel or and multiple times. I had zero expectations regarding how long the regular polish would stay on-I just did it to protect my nails as they recovered. But holy cow. A week later they still looked perfect!

I walked in on a whim Friday morning, and they were able to help me, although they were pretty busy, not packed but busy for sure. Establishment was very clean. The service here was really good. Everyone was checking on us making sure we had something to drink, they had options from water to wine. My techs were very accommodating making sure I liked and was enjoying my services throughout the process. I appreciated that especially since it was my first time here. My gel mani pedi came out great. I will be back!

I had a review last week, and for some reason, Yelp said that they thought I was a robot so they removed it. Those pearly toes on the banner there, those are my toes, so I'm not a robot, I swear. But, let me go ahead and repeat what I said last time, I loved my experience at TJ Nails. I guess I need to be more verbose than in the initial review. I walked into the little shop with the blue letter sign, (I swear I am not a robot, just look at the sign) and I spoke to the friendly staff. I asked for a pedicure and a manicure, and they did that. Now, understand, I haven't had a pedicure in a while so I forgot how relaxing they could be. TJ Nails did an awesome job. They also offered me snacks and a drink. I do not drink alcohol, but I did get water, and that was quite refreshing and lovely along with my popcorn and fruit cup. The part I loved though, was the interaction. The staff is so friendly and sweet, and I saw one of the manicures from one of the lovely ladies that worked there, and she had chrome nails. So I asked for the same for my mani and pedi, and I couldn't be happier. As I said, I'm the pearly toes! Now, the last thing I want to talk about before I sum up is price. It cost me about $140 with tax and tip. It was well worth it. As a bonus in this specific review as they did remove my first one, which was also 5 stars, the nails have held up very well. So has the chrome. I think I may stick with chrome for a while because it's just gorgeous. I will be back, probably in the next week or so for a fill! All my Leande

I have found my placeee!! Since moving to Texas I've had so many trial and errors but I can finally say I've found my go to spot! Apart from them being nice, the work that they do is TOP NOTCH! Their attention to detail is unmatched and I always leave with the most beautiful sets. Can't thank them enough for the work they do! Best service of all the places I've been, the whole experience was great because they were nice and talkative. They didn't really cut us during filing and were very gentle and thorough. 10/10 recommend

I have been going to TJ nails since they opened and could not be happier with the service, the vibe, the professional staff, attentive listening to my nail styles, and cleanliness of the salon. Bryan and his lovely family work so hard (like myself) and accomidate me whenever possible. Every suggestion that I get results in exceeding my expectations. I have been getting my nails done for 40 years all over the world and would recommend TJ nails if you appreciate attention to detail and wear of your nails. I am very hard on my nails and have never experienced a longer wear between manicures. read more

PERFECTION! Just moved to the area and needed a new nail place, so I read reviews and called first thing in the morning to get an appointment for later the same day. Went in, was welcomed by June, offered a drink, and then sat with Brian for a new set of ombre acrylics. I showed him a picture of what I was wanting, and I think he did even better than my reference image! From the length, to the shape and thickness, to his perfected technique -- I am thrilled. This might be the best job anyone has ever done for me. And bonus: WHAT A NICE GUY! I don't think I've had such an interesting conversation while having my nails done. This place is doing it how it should be done... amazing customer service in a nice, clean place and nails that get artistically executed exactly how you want them! All the stars from me. read more

I was first greeting by the cutest child I have ever seen. She was so friendly and helpful!! She did end up leaving shortly after but it was the highlight of my time lol! Well Mia did a great job on my nails. She didn't rush me at all. I told her I wanted a natural look and she used this metal device to make the white tips curve instead of just go straight across. She took finger by finger and made sure they were the same length on both hands. It's just been a long time since I felt someone actually cared about my nails. Actually was reasonably priced too considering they gave me the delicious fruit and good beverage. read more

Ive been to at least 10 salons in the area before coming to TJ Nails. from the first visit, I knew they were different - they take such extreme pride in their work and the customer experience. they go above and beyond- even more than they should at times. I've been going here for years and have seen some of the people they've had to deal with - and they were calm, respectful, even apologetic when they did nothing wrong. they are honest, hardworking, caring people and some of the kindest people I've met. so, take it from someone who is there every 2-3 weeks - this is absolutely the best salon in the area. Just moved here from Phoenix, AZ and was terrified to have to find a new nail place. Luckily I came across Brian at TJ nails and he does my ombré nails SO perfect! Even if I need a fix, he says come on back and we'll fix anytime! Everyone is so kind and welcoming! If I knew everyone's name, I'd name them and say how sweet all of them are. On 12/4 I had a gel manicure and gel pedicure with a referred technician - One week later I developed severe itching between my toes, skin maceration, followed by painful skin fissures ("paper-cut" like tears) between nearly all of my toes, burning, and major sensitivity. My Primary Care Physician has confirmed tinea pedis - caused by dermatophyte fungi (not properly cleaning, sanitizing pedicure tubs, or sterilizing tools). I am now treating what appears to be a fungal skin infection that developed shortly after the service. While I can't say with certainty how or where the infection was acquired, the timing directly followed my pedicure (timeline aligns with the exposure & development of a fungal infection). Untreated or possible progression of this development could lead to Secondary Bacterial Skin Infection, Cellulitis, Lymphangitis, or Sepsis - becoming very serious. I did not notice any visible sanitation concerns during my visit, but given my outcome, I strongly encourage future clients to: * Ask about foot bath disinfection procedures * Ensure tools are properly sterilized * Avoid services if you have any cuts, shaving, or broken skin I hope this review helps others take precautions. I recommend monitoring your feet closely after pedicure services and seeking care promptly if symptoms appear.

TJ Nails is by far the best nails spa, that we have ever gone to. My GF goes there regularly. She is very ill and has severe back and neck injuries from a prior accident. Unfortunately often we are not able to make her appointments due to her illness, yet they are are always very understanding and are more than willing to mover her appointments to another time. This personal attention to customer issues and care makes them a rare commodity in todays world. I cannot recommend them highly enough as they are very caring people, and we will never go anywhere else. read more
