Went here for the first time for a birthday pedicure treat from my girlfriend. She had a couple of gift certificates given to her by a friend, so we did a couple pedi. We were about 4 minutes after our appointment, and the owner was already calling to ensure we were keeping our appointment. We were actually turning into the parking lot that moment. Great follow-up, just bad timing on our part due to traffic. After a bit of scrutiny, the gift certificates were approved, and we were assigned our pedicurists. Mine was Louie, hers was Lena. Both were very polite and welcoming. I had never had a pedicure before, so I was a bit unsure what to expect. And of course I wore long jeans and not shorts, which increased the degree of difficulty in maneuvering and limited some of the experience. Louie was very professional and gentle. I'm quite a bit ticklish, and we both got a big laugh out of that. I got the hot stone pedicure for $7 more than the classic pedi, and my girlfriend got the Milk and Honey for $13 more. There was quite a bit of upsell involved, not by the pedicurist, but by the manager. In fact, at one point, she dropped the Milk and Honey in my pedicurist's cart, only for me to correct the mistake. She didn't seem too thrilled that we weren't buying more services, which was really the only downer. Between that and the hesitation over the gift certificates, that cost a star. When all was said and done, we got two pedicures. I had to rush to another appointment, so I left my girlfriend there to be picked up on my return. She liked her pedicure and polish, and I liked mine without. My girlfriend bought and tipped on the non-discounted price of the services. I'm not one to be fussed over, but I think they do a good job here. I did check all the sanitary precautions, and they passed on every count. They were meticulous about cleaning their instruments. I did have some temporary cuticle soreness on one toe, but it was gone by the next day without infection. Recommended. Not sure when/if I'll go again, but I'd go here without hesitation. read more

Yesterday was my first visit to this salon and it was a fantastic experience! I am new to that particular area and I wanted to treat myself (I don't get to do that too much). The staff were wonderful and are very detail oriented when it comes to providing customer service! Even though I chose the black nail polish for my toes, which are so well done and I'm amazed at how much care was taken. (Hellen did give me the mom look and the laugh when I chose the black nail polish! It was pretty funny and made me giggle the rest of the day. Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing! I have been a faithful customer for quite some time now. I have noticed how service has gone downhill for the past few months but I continued to come due to the proximity to my house. Today I got burned with the hot towel and I have a big red mark on my leg that I hope won't leave a scar. I told the mama and she ignored me she literally didn't say a word. I have made several requests previously to use new nail polishes. Most of nail polishes are old, today the tech literally had to add nail polish remover to the nail polish. I see that the issue has not been addressed. When I came in she told me to sit on a chair and then told me that the massager doesn't work. I told I prefer a chair with a massager that works. She moved me then. I'm confused by this: why would you have me in the one that doesn't work when there are at least 2 open ones that work. I'm sad to say that I won't be returning, too many things not right lately. I rather drive further and spend a little more but be treated right. read more

i went here three times it was alright till the last trip. i got gel pedicure around 10 am it took a over 3 hrs and that SAME night my big toe had cracked mid way. i didnt go back that next day bc i was too busy. within a week of my visit my big toe nail CHIPPED more than half my toenail was gone! it was very pain ful and it the middle right side to the middle of the top of my toenail was gone! couldnt get my feet done for 4 months cause i had to wait till half my darn toe nail could grow back. read more

Ended up being a legal issue! Before I get into what happened I posted a picture of where she said she was going to charge me $31 extra dollars that I did not authorize. They ALSO added a $3 tip that I did not authorize. After asking them to stop calling and texting, the son of lily reached out to me and told me I was not telling the truth. BEWARE!!!!! Do NOT go here. I came here because they had a certain gel color.... BIG MISTAKE. They have happy hour from 11-2 which is 20% off.... my nails didn't go poorly except the application of the paint was bad bad bad... not even to the cuticle... the pedi is when I decided to write the review. She PUSHED for me to to help on my toes... I told her I don't do that because of the removal process (I don't like the drill on my toes). She kept pushing and pushing I finally told her no. She then pulls out the drill, after removing my normal polish with acetone, and starts drilling away even after I asked her to STOP! She said she had to because they were yellow. She then cuts all the corner of my toenails off to where they are at a point.. after I told her square. I'm probably going to get an ingrown toenail... she THEN PAINTS THEM THE WRONG COLOR and doesn't want to change them! I told her to just please stop. UPDATE!!!! Sweetest girls ever but I was in pain the whole time . I have acrylic all over my skin and on top of my cuticle . My skin is literally burning . they are so thick that they look ridiculous. I am also a licensed cosmetologist so I know what is right vs wrong and this is all wrong . I kept saying what I wanted but got a million other options that were supposedly "better" All I wanted was white acrylic super simple nothing fancy . This IS NOT worth $55 . Had I drove to my other nail place I could have saved $15 and had them done right .Nini does great sns powder but WOULD NOT recommend for acrylic . Photos taken 3 minutes after leaving . I work in the same shopping center . I know it sucks to get a bad review especially because there are a lot of crazy ass customers out there but this is an honest review. Im not going to ever ask for a refund but I wish they could make it right by having another tech do it. my co workers at my salon say they look three weeks old and look i've been working in the garden. By far the worst nails i've ever had in my 20 years of getting my nails done . The crappiest part of it all is I can't ever afford to get my nails done . I am a single mom with two kids. I got a mani/pedi there around 3:00 this past Friday. In less than 24 hours my manicure started chipping and now it's been around 36 hours and the chipping is very noticeable and what you see in the pics. The manicure was a waste of money. read more

I had a horrible experience at Diamond Nails today as I came out with two of my fingernails bleeding and all my my cuticles scraped and raw. The woman who did my nails, lucky for her I don't remember her name, did an awful job of getting rid of the dead skin around my cuticles. I write this with bandaids around most of my fingernails and this is why I'm so skeptical about getting manicures and pedicures done. It's people like her that taint your experience forever. Something as simple as a gel manicure, she completely ruined it for me forever. Thanks to this horror of an experience, I'll always think multiple times before EVER getting my nails done again. I got dip on my fingers and gel on my toes. The dip was supposed to be one solid color but is very patchy and very low quality. It's been maybe 2 days and it already is chipping around the edges. There was super glue all over my hands from the tips that were added. My toes look good and it seemed like a good pedicure treatment. I will start by saying that Helen, the technician that actually did my pedicure, was wonderful! She did a beautiful job. If she worked for another salon I would visit her in a heartbeat, unfortunately this isn't the case. I was greeted immediately when I walked in and I was the only customer. I asked for a pedicure with gel and also needed a gel removal. I checked in like I was asked and she seated me immediately. Helen started soaking my feet turned on my massage chair and began her work. She tried to remove my polish simply by wiping she said, "Oh it's gel!" Not her fault just lack of communication from the woman that checked me in. I selected the hot stone massage which I highly recommend especially with Helen. Not that anyone cares to know but I work on my feet for up to 10 hours nonstop so I greatly appreciated her being so thorough and taking her time. Apparently this was a problem for a few of the other employees one of which I believe was the manager. There were numerous times that the same two women came and stood over her trying to rush her. One of the women probably thought I couldn't hear her asked Helen if she was charging me by the hour! I realize she may have taken a little longer than expected but I don't appreciate being treated like I'm a waste of time. Helen, if you ever move to another salon I'd love to know! I refuse to give my money to people who don't appreciate my time so I will not be returning. read more

Right off the bat, they're very friendly, and there was no wait. Score! Paint color selections are NOT abundant. Mark #1 for this non-pink, red, brown, purply nail addict. Solar powder color selection is actually terrible. There might be 15 colors to chose from. Marks #2-100 for the rest of me. Sigh.. I really liked this place but I'm not usually looking for anything flashy. With that considered, this review may not be helpful for those looking for specialized services. I got a gel manicure. It was done quickly and very well. A little pricier than other places I've gone but it looks great. I went for the Delux pedicure. My feet were in really rough shape when I went in and they worked a miracle on them! I also got great service. I felt a little guilty walking into the place at 4:15 pm when I saw they closed at 5. Despite that, they welcomed me in and told me they could do both services at the same time! Of course, the pedicure took longer (the Delux included soak, scrubs, moisturizers, oils, and hot stone massage) so the person working on me even stayed an extra 20 minutes. read more

I've been here twice. First time was AMAZING! I had a man do my pedicure while a woman did my manicure. It was the Deluxe mani/pedi and it was perfect. I am a snob about clean edges and it was done really really good. I selected a regular Opi polish. I came a second time for another Deluxe mani/pedi (regular Opi polish) and the woman who did my nails was very nice but my nails looked awful. I even asked another woman to fix the edges while they were getting dried and she did the best she could, I guess. I was not happy when I left. You can see in the photos that it looks like a rush job and is just SO sloppy. My cuticles needed more work, too. Bright side: They're all very nice and friendly. read more

I went to this location for my both my daughters her friend for pedicures and manicures for her birthday. When we went in no one really greeted me then a lady looked up I said that I needed three mani and pedi. The girl said ok. When they got the two younger girls seated in their kids seats (were so cute btw) They only turned on one of the foot soak tubs. My daughter looked at me and was like what is going on. I said don't worry. Well the lady that was doing my daughter and her friends nails started pushing my other daughter to sit down. I told her that she needs to stop and I will take care of it. I told her she doesn't like being pushed. Finally I believe the owner of the business came out. She was very sweet. Not anything like her employees. I was very surprised. She got my oldest daughter all set up in her chair and did a great job with her nails. The younger girls on lady worked on both, which wasn't a big deal but she was rushing. My daughters friend had nail polish all over her arm and the nails were all over the place. Finally after they were done I was like ok both will sit there until they were dry. Nope the lady grabbed their shoes put them in a bag and said bye. I thought maybe she sprayed the quick dry stuff on them and I didn't see. When we got in the car one smudged her nails. I was like whelp I guess they were not dry but be careful in the car and let them drive. By the end of the night my daughters nail polish was off her nails . Didn't last long. This has been my only nail spa for at least 5 years. NiNi does my nails, and she is phenomenal! She does amazing work, and is very fast, which I appreciate. She makes fun suggestions for new techniques, and I am always being asked about where I get my nails done. The entire staff is so friendly, and they all do a great job on my pedicures. I bring my daughter here for special spa days, and Lisa is always so great with her. She makes her feel really special. I hate leaving negative reviews but I had a bad experience here. It was the worst manicure I had ever had. The first round he missed several (large) spots on multiple fingers with the gel polish. When I pointed it out he got frustrated and without explaining what he was doing ground the polish off and cut my finger in the process. He kept saying that it was the color I chose (a pale pink) and that I was moving that was the problem. He did end up doing it over but it was still a sloppy job and I ended up leaving with polish all over my fingers. What should have been a quick in and out polish job ended up taking an hour. They are always very friendly and when I take my 9 year old daughter they treat her like a princess (give her a drink and a snack and let her have glitter or a design at no extra charge). The deluxe pedi comes with a hot stone massage that is fantastic. I've never felt rushed there but I also feel like they are conscientious about not taking too much time. They will do my mani (I get the gel) while they do my pedi so I am in and out fairly quickly. I go in every 3 weeks and both the gel polish and the regular polish on my toes lasts the whole time. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I went for a pedicure my first time (a little over a year ago), and I won't go anywhere else. Nene is a nail genius. I have one toe that has no nail (it was permanently removed iver 20 years ago), but some of the nail matrix grows up a bit. Every single time they file it down without pain or any abrasions. My finger nails are really weak (chemo) but with Nene's gel mani, they are strong and pretty. But one thing that purs this place above the others is waxing. I am a natural red-head with very sensitive skin. I finally let Lily wax my eyebrows, and there wasn't a burn, rash or anything! Now my brows are great, and no skin damage. I have been to Diamond Nails a number of times and have always been impressed with the cleanliness of everything and the friendly staff. I was there a couple days ago and 2 different children came in with their parents and were greeted and offered a snack and juice! I've not experienced that at other places. You are also offered a drink when you arrive. This is probably the 4th salon I've tried in RR and don't feel I need to look further. I would recommend Diamond Nails to anyone who asks. read more
