Went for a pedicure with a friend today. The place was empty, yet the young woman helping me rushed through my classic pedicure. She was definitely more interested in having her conversation than carefully cutting my cuticles. My polish is already chipping. Definitely disappointed and won't go back. Yen is a nail artist and Kim gives the best pedis. I've been going to this nail shop for years and I love the service, quality, and prices. Yen is why I'm writing this review. I've been gate keeping his skills for too long. You bring him a picture of what you want and he has the skills to do almost anything. His attention to detail while keeping the appointment fun is so impressive. Could not recommend this place enough. Came here while on vacation in Austin, wasn't impressed, yea they took me in as I walked in with no wait, they offered a drink, and were pretty friendly. BUT I only came here because of the good ratings, I wish I knew who did the clean nails in the pictures others posted because I wasn't completely happy with mine. If I have to go home and work on my nails it ain't good! Also just a side note to the salon- it is extremely rude to speak in your own language with the other employees and crack up for the entire time you guys have customers in. And this is coming from a person who speaks different languages as well, I always refrain from speaking anything other then English while I'm in public so I don't make others uncomfortable. Made me feel weird as they also passed glances at me after talking to each other. Overall, I'd say keep looking guys I'm sure you can find something better. Austin is full of salons! read more

I have not been here since before they remodeled and it was just as pleasant as I remembered. The remodel is very updated and chic clean and everyone was friendly and professional. I just came in for a basic pedi and it was relaxing, just what I needed. Also, Tom, is GREAT with nails. When I wore long nails I would always go to him and he is still thre. I stopped by while I was in Austin for work. Decently priced spot. Most of the staff seemed friendly. Girl didn't like the color I originally had picked which confused me on why they had it. The time definitely took longer than expected. I'd only come back with a lot of time. I also somehow ended up with some shellac on my hand. That wouldn't have been an issue but the girl decided to use a file on my skin before I could even stop her. It's now almost a week later and my skins still healing from being scratched up. The back edge of my nails could have been a bit better along the cuticles to now be sticking up as it grows out. read more

So upset with my last service here. Was given the wrong color dip and just had it covered over with a streaky gel polish as well as a really poorly done design. Worst of all, I explicitly asked to keep my nail length and just square them off A LITTLE but left with basically nubs. Good, simple nail shop to come in and get designs! I've been here a handful of times and have always been happy with my nails. They have wine and often frozen adult beverages too which I really appreciate. Yesterday Ty did my nails and they turned out awesome. He added some build to them because they were so short, which really helped the overall aesthetic of what I was going for. He was also very fast which was a plus! 85$ for a mani pedi basic. The mani turned out horrible after 2 hours of work. I had to turn back and get it fixed. Thank goodness I had the time to do so because it was not worth the money. I showed them the paint job full of dents and bubbles and ripples. When they looked at it they said sit down to fix it with another lady. The original girl came over to see what was being fixed I showed her the photo and she didn't apologize for a pour job and waste of time just looked and walked off. No one apologize for the service and it was a complete waste of my time especially for a $50 manicure I would not recommend this place and don't waste your time here. read more

It's upsetting you come in show a picture they say they can do that set when it comes time they can't do it I wanted square nails with a thin French tip and they're rounded I said multiple times I want square shape please and he couldn't do the french tip thin at all I just finally said I don't like it can you please take it off left with a nude nails set and paid $50 for nails I didn't even want so sad what nail shops are coming to I would appreciate honesty if the person can't do that set please say that I rather wait for a person that can or find a salon that can do it I'll post what I asked for and what I ended up leaving with. I've been going to T Nails for 3 years now to see Jenny and I love how my nails turn out every single time I visit. Everyone is always so nice and the place is always clean! Jenny really takes her time to make sure your nails come out perfect just the way you want them. I always get dip and my nails last 3-4 weeks without chipping or anything! After 2 visits here I can easily say this is my favorite nail shop! They are VERY busy y'all sand let me tell you why. For $28 you get a upgraded pedi with, several masks/scrubs, hot towels, and your choice of paraffin or hot stone. It was so relaxing! The lady who did mine I didn't catch her name but it's 4 weeks later and the polish is still on!! They even created 2 big toenails out of acrylic for me since mine had broken off! I couldn't even wear sandals and they fixed that for me. I am more than happy! So happy I decided to go back and get my first set of acrylic fingernails in almost a decade. Tweety did my nails. She was fun! And she SLAYED my nails. I felt like a sexy kitty walking out of there for sure. The prices are awesome and the work is bomb! Great job T Nails! read more

Thanks to the great Yelp reviews for steering me here. I rarely ever get my nails done, but sometimes I treat myself and in this case, it was also for my sister's wedding. I had a regular pedicure and a gel manicure done. The tech who did my gel manicure did a great job with the black polish and gold flecks. They have a good clip of business here, so I would suggest an appointment. I think for both it was around $60 and I was done in 1.5 hours! read more

Ive gone here a few times over the past 7 years and everytime I have has always been a great experience. The pedicures are so amazing too!!!! I literally almost doze off everytime bc it's so relaxing Jennifer did my nails and pedi today and I'm sooo in love! I LOVE MY NAILS!! Stopped by on a whim with my girlfriend for mani pedis. The pedis we're great and the results of our gel manis we're great. Later that night I managed to break one of my nails (natural) clean off. Went back the next day to see if they could repair my one nail, so my colored French mani didn't look weird. They quickly took me in and fixed it so you can't even tell! I had a wonderful experience here! I called ahead and made an appointment, which was good because they were so busy. I could tell that everyone around me were regulars, which means a lot when coming to a salon. All of the techs were friendly and having conversations with their guests. My tech (I didn't get his name) did a wonderful job with my dip set. They had a ton of colors to choose from for dip, gel and regular polish. It cost $50 +tip and was worth it! If you're looking for a place that is efficient, detail oriented, exceptional customer service (surpasses exceptional), great color range, clean and breathable environment then you need to come here. I've gone to over 12 salons in Austin and this is the only one that is worth the price. Every other places overcharges for crap! I went into this salon for the first time on Monday and I am so happy that I did! I just started working down the street from here and had been going to my previous nail salon for 15+ years! Jennifer did my SNS manicure and she was so sweet and thoughtful. She was even extra careful with my cuticles, as my skin tends to get extra dry during this time of year due to my eczema. SNS was $40 (along with removal of my previous SNS). This is SIGNIFICANTLY less than Caesar's at the Domain that has such overpriced services. I recommend 100%! It's a single chair salon and Arianna is who I see. Not only is this place well decorated and eye catching, but it's clean, professional, and calming. Which, if you are having someone give you a Brazilian wax makes it so much better. Am I right girls? I found this place after trying to find a new waxing boutique. I never had an issue with ingrown hairs until I went to a European Wax Center. Plus, it was way more painful than I was used to, so I had to switch. I've been coming here for awhile and am BEYOND grateful for Arianna not only taking care of my waxing needs, but slowly and surely helping me recover from my poor waxing experience. She even gave me a sample of a cream to try (I'll update this review about that after I try it for a bit) to help with the hairs as well as some tips. She does have a few select products, but I have never felt pressured to buy anything at all. This place, and Arianna, is just so great. Quick, less painful, exceedingly professional (I've been getting Brazilians for awhile but I'd definitely try this place if you are a first timer), clean, and a great value for the price. I've already told all my friends about this place. Book your appointment. You won't regret it!!

She even warned me ahead of time, "let me know if it's too strong, I have strong hands," and I immediately said don't even worry because it felt amazing from the start. It wasn't one of those light, surface-level massages. She actually got in there and worked through the tension, and you could feel the relief happening in real time. The kind where you walk out feeling looser, lighter, and like your muscles can finally breathe again. If you're someone who actually wants pressure and results, ask for Tina. I honestly have no idea how it took me so long to find Sugared + Bronzed.I think I may have seen it…read moreand assumed it wouldn't be affordable because it's a custom spray tan, but I am so glad I finally tried them. This is truly the best formula I've ever used. I've done it all: at-home products like St. Tropez, Loving Tan and B.Tan, and every spray option at places like Palm Beach Tan, but nothing has ever given me that deep, natural, authentic-looking tan the way Sugared + Bronzed does. Beyond the quality of the tan itself, the experience is always great. The staff is consistently super kind and welcoming. They can be a little chatty at times, but honestly I think it's just their way of making an otherwise slightly awkward situation feel comfortable since you're usually in a vulnerable setting/half naked during a spray tan. Lauren did my most recent spray and it might be the best one I've had yet. I would highly recommend everyone try them at least once, you really do get what you pay for.
