I LOVE this place sooooo much! I have never ever had better looking nails in my 30+ years of having nails! I have never rec'd compliments on my acrylic nails til coming here. I literally have to drive 35 mins from Westlake to the Domain and I do it every 2-3 weeks. In fact I can go 3 weeks easily and my nails look fabulous!!! I usually go to Lisa for my nails however any of the ladies I've seen or Andy are fantastic! The milk and honey manicure or pedicure are well worth the extra money! It's very relaxing! I have yet to have a less than 5 star experience at M Vince. My nails are always beautiful and last a long time. Every nail tech I have had has been so attentive and detailed-oriented. They take their time shaping the nails to precision. When I got my nails done last month, I wasn't sure exactly what color to get. My nail tech Lisa was super patient and let me test multiple colors on a finger before committing to a full set. This meant everything to me! We eventually landed on a brown that I absolutely loved and received a lot of compliments on. Had I felt rushed, I wouldn't have found this color. Huge shoutout to Lisa! I've had my acrylic nails on for over a month. I went to M Vince today to take them off. My nails still felt strong. I decided to cut them because I prefer short nails, but I could've kept them if I wanted. Jenipher took off my acrylic; she was very kind and attentive. I appreciated her for opening my water bottle for me so I could easily drink it while she was doing my nails! Overall, the customer service and product (nails) are 10/10. I've been a loyal client of MV Nail Salon for years, usually seeing Chloe (who left) and Kay, who are both fantastic. On my last visit, I had a dip manicure with a different technician. I chose OPI Suzi Chases Portu-Geese, expecting a soft pink, but it turned out grayish. I also requested a round shape, but she made them pointed. Fixing the shape would have made them even short, so I let it go even though I did not like it. At checkout, I mentioned the color discrepancy, and they offered to adjust it. This was no way the nail technicians fault for the color discrepancy. During the fix, the technician cut my skin from buffing my nails and dipped my pinky twice, making it lighter than the rest. After spending a long time at the salon, I had to leave. When I went to pay, I was frustrated to see an extra $5 charge for an almond nail shape--which I never requested. I had explicitly asked for round nails and was already unhappy with the shape. I brought this up, and they removed the charge, but it was frustrating that they even attempted to charge me extra for something I didn't ask for. Before leaving, I told them I was unhappy with the results and would like to return to have my nails redone, as my pinky was visibly a different color. A few hours later, I called the salon, and they asked me to send pictures. The next day, I never received a response, so I called again and spoke with Vu, the new manager. He told me he had reviewed the video footage for a long time because he was unsure why I hadn't mentioned the cut while I was in the salon. His tone made me feel as if he was questioning my honesty, which was both frustrating and unnecessary. He eventually offered to redo the color for free but then suggested that if I was unhappy, I should find another salon. Due to my personal schedule, I never had time to return for the redo. Today, I called to book an appointment with Kay, weeks later and I would be paying for this service, but Vu refused service, stating that I was unhappy last time. It's disappointing because I have always liked this salon--but only when seeing certain technicians. Management is lacking, rather than addressing a legitimate customer concern, the manager made me feel like I was lying about my experience, despite the fact that I had photo evidence. read more

After going here for over a year the last two visits were horrid- negative attitudes for manicure. The front desk acts like they don't have colors I've used many times - odd unhelpful. While they wasted 15 min being unhelpful saying they were doing my nails and picked out colors finally then said they had no one to do my nails with 20 employees doing nothing - had my daughter start her toes and due to them randomly making excuses to now not do my nails I had to have my daughter leave - such unprofessional ppl- the time prior the male did not know what he was doing, hard to deal with & demanded a tip before done with my nails- bad management ruins a salon . I chose a sparkly red polish - afterwards they told me the design - they began doing a cat eye look and did not inform me this would be an additional $25 - you can't even see the "cat eye" because of the glitter. Very nice place i came on my birthday and got gel manicure by the lady with cash app of mari nails , she was nice but did a horrible job , my nails were chipping and coming off like stickers in less than a week. I called about the issue and they got me in to fix it. After spending money and time on medicine, I called for a deserved refund and they asked so many question and ended saying "they didn't see my toe infection was an infection" after I told them pus was coming out of it. I've been here quite of few times before and every single time I alway run into the issue of either getting cut or my nails being too thick. This last visit has also made question whether this place is sanitary or not due to getting a toe infection (after reading some reviews, I also see I'm not the only one who has ran into this issue). Update to previous review. It seems that they thank by this work. I didn't say anything about how thick the polish was at time of application because I'm not the expert. I expect the professional to know what they are doing. Regular polish will chip over time but it shouldn't be peeling off with light activity in 3 days. My first review was 3 days after the manicure. Here are updated pictures 4 days after the service. The paint is cracking across the nail and several nails are halfway gone. This isn't normal, it's bad work. The manicure was Wednesday, the pictures were taken Sunday. Obviously I'm not going to come pay for additional services from a company that stands by this shoddy work. read more

I'm updating my reviews. I've been three times. First, was fine. Second, my cuticles were all cut and bleeding a tiny bit and scabbed on one hand. It was from the filing.... He filed my skin AND the nail. The third visit was unacceptable. After my second visit, the salon arranged a new employee for the next visit to ensure I'd had a one-off bad experience. The skin next to my nail was cut badly during cuticle trimming. I've never actually yelled and pulled away but I did. It shocked me. I left afterward without completing the pedicure. The video and photo of my toe say it all. I post this not as a gotcha to the business.... I loved the spa and was stunned to have a poor experience there, twice. But I don't feel safe returning knowing simple and basic procedures cannot be done well and that they were going to paint my bloody toe even after this. That was very concerning for health reasons. There are also plenty of chairs so I didn't have to wait at all on a weekend and I simply walked in and they were able to seat me for a pedicure. I got the signature pedicure for $50. The women who serviced me was chatting with me which I didn't mind but typically I'm not that girl. She spent quite a bit of time talking to a colleague in their language and while they were kekeing it up its always a little rude. I didn't have cash on me for the tip and even though you can tip electronically from the payment you use to book, she preferred to share her venmo so I tipped her that way. I'm in south Austin so it's a beautiful spot to pop in if you are in the area. I'd go again if I was north and needing a pedi in the future. read more

Amazing! I needed to pick up some alternations at Nordstrom and saw that the salon was close so I booked an appointment online on a whim and I'm so happy that I did. When you walk in, you're greeted by smiling receptionists at the front desk / register who check you in. While you pick your polish from the wall (or polish books if you're getting gel), the staff offer you drinks. And not just any drinks! They have water, soda, wine, and even liquor. If you're still waiting for your service after you've picked your polish, then you can sit at their bar (yes, there's a bar!), relax, and watch some tv. Something that I also noticed is that this place doesn't have the typical chemically nail salon smell. Nope, it smells like a light floral fragrance. I got the Signature MV Spa Pedicure (the most expensive one) and it was worth every dollar. This included rose petals and orange petals in the soaking water, multiple honey run downs on my feet and legs, a hot stone massage, paraffin treatment, collagen socks, and -of course- polish. The full process took about 1.5 hours and I wished I could've stayed even longer because the massage chair felt so good. Once the pedicure was done, I tipped my nail tech via Venmo, paid for the service at the front, and was on my way. read more

Gorgeous salon in the Domain close to neiman Marcus and Louis Vuitton (where McCormick and Schmidt's used to be). I was most impressed with the service, this being a ritzy type salon I sort of expected to be snubbed but instead I was greeted with a very kind and somewhat bubbly welcoming from the girl at the counter. She showed me around got my color and into a chair. The technician was also super sweet and kind which I loved. Sometimes at nail salons I can feel like they don't want me there, like they talk to their coworkers and sound mad the entire time. Well not here! Everyone I encountered was smiling through their masks. So yes, this is the domain and a major renovation they did but I had to go to 4 stars (which is still incredible) because of the pricing, not offered another drink and just a minor thing with my toenails. My pedicure was $75 before tip so $90 for 45 min in a pedi chair. They had maybe 5 options and this was the second to the cheapest then I did gel, which is an add on anywhere, but $90 for 45 min is just too much for me. I went to get both nails and toes but sadly skipped the mani since I was already over my monthly nail salon budget. If you have the extra cash to go here every few weeks then by all means do it. It's a gorgeous place, with a great staff and full bar but for me I'll stick to my regular places where I can get 2 drinks, mani & pedi with tip for $100. My only other note is that my big toes aren't even, they sort of slant which I didn't notice until I sat down at home. I have no doubt that if I went back they would fix them for me but taking the toll and a 20 min drive is not going to happen. I'm also used to the ends of my toe nails being painted if that makes sense? I have horribly ugly and chunky feet so little things make a big difference to me since I hate my feet so much. So glad I got to check out this new salon though and sip a mimosa out of a beautiful, possibly crystal, flute. 4 stars is great, I can't expect them to lower prices with the location though so I'll only be back for special occasions or to impress an out of town guest. read more

After spending the entire weekend at the US Grand Prix at COTA I needed some desperate pampering and accidentally wondered in front of this place and it lured me in. They say everything is bigger in Texas and this spa was no joke absolutely massive! You felt very luxurious here, the staff where extremely kind and helpful. The prices were ones I'm used to back in New York, and I got the manicure and pedicure that felt so relaxing. Lily was absolutely wonderful! Came here for a casual regular mani and overall was not disappointed. Given the location being in the Domain, and the lavish renovations the place has setup, expect to pay a "premium" for any services here. These are probably the priciest services I have seen from my experience getting nails done anywhere ($25 reg. mani; my friend who got design acrylics paid $96 before tip, which is the steepest she has ever paid). Overall, it was a nice experience, but I'm not sure it will be my go-to nail salon. My nail tech was Brandon and I was disappointed when I was told they couldn't do any design with regular polish on my natural nails (I had asked for a simple heart design for a Valentine's Day theme). I understand it's probably not as feasible with regular polish since the drying time isn't as easy as acrylics or gel, but for being a fancy nail salon I guess I expected to be able to get something more than just plain, solid color. Or at least an attempt rather than an immediate "no can do." I also felt a bit rushed toward the end of my appointment since it seemed the next client was ready, and I always feel like if you aren't getting gel, acrylics, or something more expensive that they don't prioritize you as much - which is unfortunate but pretty common. I went the other day mid week with my friend and we had a great experience. We have been looking forward to trying this new nail salon after seeing it being renovated. It is definitely a nail salon of all nail salons. It is huge and very well put together. By far the best looking and nicest nail salon in the area. All the pedicure chairs were so new and clean and the buttons all worked! The trays didn't have a speck of nail polish on them. It was so nice to go somewhere with everything being brand new and clean still. I called and made an appointment the day before. I definitely recommend making an appointment as I was seems shortly after checking in and didn't have to wait. I always recommend making an appointment anywhere when possible just better for everyone. They still had their 20% off of all services special the day we went, which was nice. The prices are a bit higher as expected with a nail salon located in the domain. The color selection here is also as big as the location itself. I'm sure there was even more colors than what I looked at. I get regular polish which always seems to have less choices but here there was plenty to chose from. The bar is so cute. I again was boring and just got water but it seems you could get just about any drink. My friend got a whiskey and coke. I was laughing when he asked because I didn't think they would have it. Turns out they did. My nail technician was Jenipher and she was awesome! She was so friendly and chatty. Her work was just as great as her personality. We got the milk and honey pedicure and I don't know why I didn't think it was going to be real milk and honey but it was. Definitely interesting. We were both in need of a good pedicure.
