I've been coming here every two weeks for about 6 months for gel overlays. I have gotten my nails done by several techs here and have never received a less than perfect set. The owner is super sweet too! Update: A year later and I still have not received a bad set. I've been to this salon many times, and while there are some skilled nail techs who do great work, my last two visits were so disappointing that I will not be returning. During one visit, the nail tech cut my finger deeply--so badly that it took weeks to heal. Not only did I have an incredibly painful wound, but my nails looked nothing like the nail art I requested. To make matters worse, I was charged full price for this experience. When I reached out to management, they would not refund me but offered to redo the nails on my next visit. I had to wait until my finger healed to return, and the manager gave me her number to coordinate. On the day I returned, the manager asked if I would allow the same nail tech to redo the manicure. I reluctantly agreed, hoping for a better experience. The nail tech was friendly and even offered to redo the nail art for free, though I hadn't asked for it. At checkout, however, I was charged full price for the manicure, with only the nail art being free. I contacted the manager again, but she chalked it up to a misunderstanding and said she'd "take care of me next time." By that point, I decided I wasn't coming back. Recently, I was in the area and thought I'd give them one last chance. I went in for a dip manicure, which I usually get. While discussing options with the nail tech, she suggested chrome since I hadn't tried it before, so I agreed. During the appointment, the tech accidentally broke one of my natural nails while removing the old dip polish. To even things out, we decided to add tips to three nails. The manicure itself was fine, but when I went to check out, the price shocked me. Manicure $50, Nail fix (3 nails, including the one the tech broke) $10, Chrome $20 (I was not informed about this additional charge), Shape $5 With tip, it came out to $100 for a simple manicure on short, natural nails. Three days later, the top coat is already chipping. I'm incredibly frustrated with the lack of transparency and the poor quality of service here. After everything I've experienced, I won't be coming back, and I can't recommend this place to anyone. I visited this salon last week. The salon looks presentable from the outside and inside. But I was shocked by the unsanitary conditions! Dirty towels, nail files, cuticle nippers are not sterilized! Unfortunately, at that moment I turned a blind eye to this. As a result, what I have: gnawed cuticles, and less than a week later, 3 acrylic nails fell off. Great spot and always accommodating to my technician requests, plus the best thing- they have hard gel and actually know how to do it. I don't feel that they rush either. My only recommendation would be for them to spend some more time refining their normal polish application. I took my friend here and her regular polish in her hands was not done to the standard I would've expected. I also got regular polish once before and remember it not looking very sharp and professional. Obviously the other polish types will be shinier and last longer, but not everyone wants that! Nolan left :( I understand his reasons for leaving but will miss him terribly. Nolan if you see this give me a holler. We'd always talk about fitness and I'd love to keep up with your iron man journey and share about my half marathon training. I've seen a few techs since Nolan left (mostly Britney and Lucas) and they've been lovely. Quick and detail oriented. The reason I'm deducing a star is their price point. I didn't realize it my first visit but they charge for every single thing separately on top of the service price. I recently paid $5 for a nail reshape, but I literally just wanted the same shape I had, so I really don't understand that. Gel upgrade for pedicure is $18 which seems a little steep to me, and I wish they had more pedicure options than just basically good, better, best. Regardless, still a lovely experience and it will continue to be my go-to salon. read more

The first time I tried out Arbor Nail Bar, I didn't like who did my nails. She accidentally stepped on my wet toenails while doing my nails but was like whatever with it. The lady who did my pedicure wasn't happy because she couldn't redo them so she had to just put a top coat on it. I went home really irritated because I spent all that money to leave with messed up toes. I decided to give it a try again asking for another lady to do my nails and I absolutely love Linh. She's very detailed on prepping my nails and shaping them. Linh will be my go to girl as long as I live in the area. read more

Do NOT waste your time coming here unless you want terrible quality service with extremely high prices. I got a Gel Manicure and was charged an extra $10 to take off the dip I had before(I have never been charged before for this when i'm getting another service!!!). With tip included my total was over $70.... Just for 2 of my nails to break FIVE DAYS later and to be charged an additional $10 for them to be fixed... Every other nail salon i've been to provides a week guarantee, but they told me their policy is 3 days??? INSANE. This place is a joke. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. read more

The absolute BEST nails I've ever had in my life! Thank you, Lee!!! I've been getting my nails done for 15 years and this is by far the best set I've ever had. I showed Lee an inspo pic and she recreated it but MUCH better than the picture! The prices are beyond fair and the place is very clean with comfortable seating. They also have the largest selection of colors I've ever seen. I didn't partake but I noticed they have lots of drink options as well including what looked like a few frozen margarita machine. I really want to be a regular here. The nail techs are so great and the location is brightly lit and conveniently located. My issue is that the price that I am charged at the register does not match the price on their website or the price listed on the menu at the register. I have brought this up to them on three occasions since the October, and each time they say they've *just* changed the prices and hadn't updated it. Latest example: $25 for gel polish change and $5 for removing the gel. Most places include taking off when replacing, but this is what's listed on the menu and website, so I'm happy to pay it. However, this time I was charged $30 for the change and $8 for the removal. That's completely different than what I was charged in December. And again different from October. Again, fantastic nail techs and great work, but that awful feeling of getting scammed out of extra cash just makes returning here a no-go for me. read more

This is my favorite nail salon near my neighborhood, but some of the nail techs are much better than others and there's no way to request a specific tech/artist when you book. The lady with the glasses, I think her name is Mary? is my favorite. The guy who did my nails today took 1.5 hours for sns powder, no manicure. He didn't offer me a drink & was way too rough and slow with the nail file. I usually get oval/almond shape, which I was charged for, but they came out more round than usual. I think maybe he was new...but if you're training someone maybe charge less until they are up to the level of the other staff. It's a nice location, comfortable, owner is friendly, reasonable prices, some five star nail techs but a few 2-3 star ones too. Give customers the option to select their tech when they book! Edit: Arbor Nail Bar fixed my uneven nails, and they look great! The owner said that I can request a particular nail tech in the future if I call instead of booking online, which I plan to do. I think any busy salon could end up with some techs who aren't up to standard--I still think it would be worthwhile to give a slight discount to techs who are new/still in training, or have them test on another employee before hire. Even someone very good might be slower when they're getting used to a new salon/equipment. If you get a less-than-perfect nail tech, they will fix it! I had a great experience! I was running errands and decided to pop in for a pedicure but saw they also do Gel-X extensions as well and thats what I do normally so I decided to ask for that as well. I went to arbor nails to get a manicure with builder gel. The facility was nice, but my experience was not what I was hoping for. When I checked in my nail artist was immediately pressuring me towards chrome nails even though I came in for about as basic looking of a manicure as possible. I politely said no and my artist worked on my builder gel manicure. She applied everything too thick and I was cut on 3 different places. Not only was I in pain by the time she finished but she insisted on adding chrome even though I was going for the neutral look. Lo and behold I hated the chrome and it made my nails the opposite of neutral and this added $20 to my bill which is an insane amount. I ended up leaving the appointment disappointed in the manipulation I felt while there. I also had to run an extra errand to get disinfectant for my open wounds. I won't be returning. read more

The previous nail salon, had my nails too thick and the shape wasn't good. I stopped in to see if they had any openings for walk-ins. Mai was my nail tech today, and she was absolutely wonderful. We took the time to find the colors I wanted (the hardest part for me), and we sat down. I explained my previous nail tech was very nice, but is always too distracted and I always felt rushed. Mai took the time to take down all the stacked sns powder, and soaked off the rest, to not damage my nails. She took her time, did not rush, did not make me feel rushed. I love the colors and the shape of my nails. I totally recommend Mai (& Jenny at the Arbor Nail Bar). It has been a while since I walked out of a salon loving my nails, as well as how I felt as a customer. Will return. There are plenty of seats for nail services and pedicures. I wish I could give them 0 star. The manager literally just arguing with me because I did not like 1 finger shape. What a non-professional manager and staff ? This place explained why they're so expensive, because the pedicure chair are new. The model of the shop is new that's why they're expensive. David did my nail, my thumbs shape was bad, so i asked him to fix it. The manager came by, they both speaking there languages and made me FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE AND EXTREMELY UPSET !!! David did it so fast, but ugly, the shape was really bad. I did not want a discount or a free next visit. The way that the Manager run the store is UNPROFESSIONAL.
