I was in the area and I thought I would check out this nail salon as my toes really needed it. I checked in and I was told that the weight would be 15 minutes which I did not mind. I ended up getting a seat within seven minutes and it was really cool because I did not have to wait. The gentleman at the front was really nice when asking me to check in. There are only about five waiting chairs, but they are really comfortable. The gentleman started the water for me and alerted my nail tech. My nail tech was very friendly, and I had a great experience with her, but overall the worst part about all of it was how rushed she was. I had over 45 minutes until they closed for my pedicure but she acted like the building needed to be evacuated! Still, I must say that I've never gotten so many compliments on my toenails as I have this time around. I will absolutely be back! read more

They did alright job my nails but on my pedicure for toes she took forever for a French tip had to change my color to a solid color but it's just looks too horrible - and made my refrill on my acrylic too thick and totally messed up my nail shape and was really rude- when I tried to tell her to fix she gave me attitude and she just did everything wrong applied acrylic first and then she decided to cut my toes nails and file & cut down my big toe . don't recommend unless you like simple and don't really care . Since I change my French tip to white she didn't let the white dry all the way and now it chipping from the side . Just felt like it was very unprofessional and i didn't even get to enjoy my pedicure. Really wish I would've read the reviews before coming in go to Milano nail spa they'll do a better job and better service there not rude there That's the issue , I did tell you what's was wrong and what I just kept getting ignored. - and I shouldn't have to be 2 hrs for a pedicure I even ask if I could get another lady and you still ignored that. I was debating on doing a review but I'm just going to do it. If you care about the health of your nails I would certainly refrain from coming here. I had my nails done by a younger guy with glasses. I had asked for hard gel and my nails WERE BURNING. THIS IS NOT NORMAL FYI!! This damages your nail bed. The application he was putting was so thick!! Hard gel only needs a thin coat, and I know this because I get hard gel with Russian manicures. I usually get Russian manicures, but my lady was booked and I thought I would give it a try here as I knew they did hard gel. if you have never gotten russian manicures done I HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Russian manicurists actually CARE about the health of your nails and aren't rushing to finish a set to get to the next person. Also 61$ for this? Please lmao. To top it off he was rude and shaped my nails HIDEOUSLY. Absolutely do not recommend coming here Also: why does my nails look like they are already a week old???? Service: Great and appreciated! I came here on a walk in with my teenager who only got a manicure and I got a gel pedicure, and gel mani fill. Got in after 2pm they were very busy we only waited 15 mins. They kept checking on us throughout our service asking if everything was going well and if we wanted a beverage. Quality: Pedicure - most people are very particular about their nails, me it's my feet. My pedicure was so good, my feet and toe nail beds look so clean and neat and oil was used for my massage and then lotion on top which is the very first time I left a nail shop and my feet and legs were NOT ashy, I was very happy with my pedicure. Nails - Now my nail service was outstanding! I've been trying to wear buda gel nails and been a few places and my nails would just look so thick and ugly, but Tara listened to my concerns looked at my nails and understand the assignment! She took her time and she filled my nails with a brush stick instead of the brush that comes in the nail polish. She also used that really tiny brush they use to make designs to fill the gel out on the sides of my nail bed. She was very attentive, did a good job and kept checking that I was happy throughout. Vibe: everyone seemed happy to help the clients to get their services and the prices were very reasonable especially considering the outstanding service and quality of work they provide. Conclusion: I'll be a repeat customer! Ps. Parking is a bit hard, it's by the community college so street parking is scarce and garage parking is also scarce so you might have to park further and walk depending on the time of day I guess, just FYI. read more

I've been to this nail salon twice now and both times have been great experiences! Both times, I got a dip manicure with a specific nail design that I showed a picture of and each time they were happy to replicate it and did a fantastic job. The first mani lasted me about a month and probably could've gone longer but they were looking overgrown and I was antsy to refresh. I was a walk-in the first time for a Friday evening which was very busy and called ahead to schedule an appointment the second time around for a Friday afternoon which was a little quieter. Service is fast and efficient, making sure to seat you right away, ask if you want something to drink, and ask multiple times throughout if you like the look. I also got their most basic pedicure service on the second visit and was very happy with the look and the thoroughness. The location is tucked away right next to the Austin Community College campus so pretty easy to find. read more

I got my spa gel manicure at this location and it wasn't very expensive. Its pretty big inside with so many staff. Viet got my nails done and she wasn't rushing at any point. That's usually my experience wherever I go. People get away with cuticles faster and it wouldn't be fully done. This person was patient enough that she ensured all the fingers were taken care. I was in the area and decided to walk-in without an appointment. I checked in on the iPad in front and then was immediately seated and started looking through the color options. I asked for a dip manicure, and Tin removed my old polish while I searched for the color I wanted. I settled on a beautiful dark brown! I was able to secure parking just behind the nail salon in one of the retail spots in the parking garage. It's always nice when you can find covered parking in Austin! Tin expertly removed my old manicure and let me know it would be $8 extra to remove the old acrylic. He told me I would need to do regular dip (not acrylic application) with the dark brown color I chose, which was fine with me. He re-shaped my nails into an almond shape (they were square-oval before) and the whole appointment took maybe 1 hr, start to finish. This is a large, bustling neighborhood nail salon, almost as popular with men as it is with women. The concierge was attentive and seated me right away. I had stressed that I was interested in working with a Pedicurist who focuses on nail health but the young woman who was assigned to me left me disappointed in this regard. I'm kicking myself, but I can't remember her name. She didn't remove the previous nail polish completely. She filed the surface of my nails a lot, which weakens them. I initially was going to get a gel manicure and after having my old gel removed and seeing how paper thin my nails were I decided to skip the gel and just get a regular manicure with cuticle trim, gel removal. The woman told me it would be $30 to get the gel removed and trim my cuticles/dry skin around my nails. I felt completely taken advantage of as a gel manicure is $40 but I would be paying $10 less to have my old manicure removed and my nails cut. She was absolutely taking advantage of me and price gouging charging me $15 to trim the dead skin around my cuticles, and now I will never go back. I paid $13 after the very nice man up front offered me a $2 discount for my experience, however they've just lost a customer forever for this woman's actions. I didn't get her name. I can imagine they get away with taking advantage of people daily, so be aware. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

I came with my mom to get pedicures. They sat us right away, and my mistake was telling them we both wanted the classic pedicure when my mom actually wanted the "signature pedicure." I kindly asked if they could still change it, and the lady doing my nails said yes. However, the person doing my mom's pedicure was visibly bothered by it. When she started on my mom's feet, she probably did only half of what the signature pedicure service includes. My mom left unsatisfied, and the service which is listed as 50-55 minutes in their book, only lasted about 40 minutes. There was still about half an hour left before closing, but the technician kept glancing at the clock, clearly trying to finish early. If they don't want to work until closing time, then just close earlier. On top of that, I got gel polish on my nails, and by the very next day the gel was already peeling. The person who was in charge of my services was very friendly and nice but their work isn't the best. read more
