Everything. I went there about a week or two ago and they did my nails. I was happy at first. Then I noticed that every day a nail gel color or two was falling off my nail for no reason. The price was very steep and the pedicure was fine and all, but not the manicured gel. I was disgusted and disappointed every day that I went and looked at my nails falling off. I will not be back. Update: It's been less than 2 weeks, on top of doing my own nail designs when I got home, I now only have 5 nails on my hands. I also went 5 days after I got my pedicure to visit a friend out of town. She had a nail appointment, so I accompanied her and got a pedicure. I was so embarrassed when the technician told me I need to start getting my feet done every two weeks because there was so much dead skin on my feet and heels, especially considering the fact that I had just gotten my feet "done" less than a week ago. Very tired of getting poor service in Austin. Adding to my review. The owner replied to basically tell me they didn't do it because of how it looks. I clearly stated that I had to go home and do my own nail art. I have no reason to lie. read more

Not as great as it used to be. It's gotten a little dirtier and the techs rush and the quality of mani/pedi has definitely declined.

Since moving back into the "hood" I have been searching for a good mani/pedi place. I decided to give T4 Nails a try. I'm easy and have normal expectations regarding some personal services and was pleasantly surprised. My mani/pedi was amazing and I really enjoyed the massage. The polish (yes, its fun) for my toes was great but had fallen asleep while she was working. I wanted dark Navy blue but got bright green. It's all good and wasn't about to ask her to change it. Normally i would have given this place a 5 star review as I have been going to them off and on when my typical salon either isn't available or if it is past 7pm. Well, according to Google and Yelp the hours are open until 9pm daily. Well this is now the 3rd time I have come here and seent that they were closed and it's barely 7:45pm. I've been looking for a new nail salon and I think I finally found it??? Tammy did my nails and they turned out AMAZING. She was gentle AND quick. Super sweet too. I got SNS also known as the dip powder and they're not chunky at all, she did a perfect job at making sure they looked natural. My shape turned out great. She knew exactly what to do to get the color I wanted because at first it seemed too light, but with SNS each coat deepens the color and she really knew what she was doing. Things have changed in a year. I don't get nail services often, and keep my nails short. I had gel done elsewhere two weeks before and came here to get it removed and a mani after. The technician didn't keep the nails wrapped in foil to remove long enough, and scraped my nails so rough that 3 days later my NAIL is flaking up and breaking on a healthy nail!!!! When I showed the owner what was happening she said "it'll grow back" and "we'll soak more next time." Sorry no next time. read more

They have a large selection of nail polish, shellac and dip offerings, as well as unique services such as aesthetician work and henna body art. Annie has been doing my nails, and I'm very impressed with her work. She is meticulous and pays attention to details, both in her care of my skin as well as her work with my nail color and shape. First and last time I will go to this salon. I stopped there because I was running errands and decided to treat myself. I just wanted a regular manicure. It's $20, so priced similar to other nail salons for regular manicure. The lady that did my nails was nice, but She kept coughing and shaking her head the whole time. I wanted to ask her if she was sick, but I didn't want to insult her if she has a chronic health problem. Ok. Now about the manicure. The polish is on so thick, I don't know if it will ever truly dry. She told me to be careful after for about 10 minutes. I sat under the hand dryer in the salon for 10 minutes after I had already used the fan while she was doing my nails. Left the salon, ran errands. About an hour later, I was driving and scratched my arm and one of my nails.' Polish was totally still wet under, smudged badly and got all over my other hand and arm. It has been 4 hours now and all of my nails look "wavy" or Like folded paint for lack of another way to describe it. I have definitely had $20 manicures that last longer than 4 hours. Also hoping that tech wasn't sick because that will just be icing on the cake. They have you pay before they paint, which I somewhat get because they are going to paint your nails, but I don't know if I would be able to get in my purse for my wallet for the rest of the day without them smudging. I repainted the smudged nail when I got home with the closest color I had. read more

Don't go here. I went in for eyebrows ex and ended up in the ER. The person who did my wax ripped on the top layer of skin all across my forehead. The dr explained this as the equivalent of a potato being peeled but instead she peeled off the top layer of my skin. I didn't realized what had happened until I left and felt awful pain. When I called back to talk to manager/owner I was told there wasn't one. I really liked this place but I'm never going back. They took zero responsibility for the pain they caused me .. now I'm on antibiotics bc if this irresponsible person and owe a hospital bill not counting the 3 meds they gave me . Very unprofessional. This is my favorite nail salon. I quit going anywhere for years because I hadn't found one I really liked and one that had good value. A few months ago I gave this place a shot and I've been coming back ever since. The people that own it and work here are very nice. There are several married couples that work here and they make a good team, along with a handful of youths too. I've never been disappointed in their work, and even when I messed up my manicure while I was still there (waiting for them to dry), my manicurist came to me and fixed it for me immediately! I can only speak to manicures and pedicures here as that is what I always get. They take pride in their salon, as it is always clean and doesn't smell of products. The hospitality is generous too, since they will offer you something to drink during your service. A plus is that they do take appointments by phone and encourage you to do so. I hate to write this review because I'm sure it'll get more crowded, but T4 was amazing! The new management is super nice and they did an amazing job on my shellac nail and pedicure. I went here on a whim because my normal place has been slipping a bit and their prices had gone down. I walked in at 4 pm and had no wait. I was immediately helped and shown the different nail polishes, which they have a great collection of normal polishes, shellac, and SNS. They did my manicure very well and then moved on to my toes. For the pedicure, I got the basic. The basic included a nice callus removal and massage. The message was a bit long for my taste, but it was really nice and relaxing. I went there and got a plain mani pedi (whatever their basic run of the mill is called). The pedicure was absolutely top notch and the basics of the manicure were good, but the polish didn't last one day and I wasn't being hard on my nails at all. I know, you're all going to say this is why you need dip, or SNS, shellac, etc, but come on...a manicure should make it 24 hours. Could have gone down the street to an established place but decided to give this new spot a chance and am so glad I did. Brand new ownership and it's a true family affair. A couple generations worth were spotted during my visit. Had an hour to kill while in the area and decided to treat myself to a basic mani ($15). The mani (sans drying) was about a half hour. Cuticles were tended to, nail shape was made consistent on each digit, and the lotion/massage part was relaxing. Color was perfect and conversation with light, bright, and polite! I've been going to T4 (monthly) for the past year now. I always ask for Don. He does a really great job with acrylic nails. My only disappointment is that I never leave with exactly what I want. There's always a compromise I have to make, and I still have to pay $60-80 for my nails. I love don and he is the reason I keep going but I may have to find a new location. Everyone there was super welcoming & sweet As soon as I walked in, I was warmly greeted & one of the staff helped me decide on what color I wanted. She even tested out the colors I was interested in on her own nails because she wanted me to be able to see it's true color. I ended up getting a gorgeous, natural-looking white/pink hombre dip which I absolutely love! I've gone here three or four times now. I typically get SNS manicures. My nails don't last when they're done here as other salons. There's typically a chip by week one and by week two, you're down a nail. So I went today to get a dip manicure. The actual "polish" job was awesome, but when it came to shaping my nails, it was lazy. Some were sharp and flat and others were semi rounded. When I asked to have a nail fixed, I was told real nails don't shape as well as tips. Okay, tell me why I got charged for sns + tips instead of sns then!? Yes, I did have ONE tip, but they have never charged for that. I truly feel like he was ripping me off. And to top it off, he didn't do the lotion or massage that goes with the manicure.
