So I have been going to this salon to get my eyebrows done for at least a year or two. The regular lady usually does a good job and is pretty attentive to what I ask her to do. There was a new woman today and I thought okay I'll let her do my eyebrows and it should be fine right? Well the answer to that is HELL NO they weren't. I typically get my eyebrows and face wax done while I am there and I have never had a problem. Today I walked out of there with a chunk of my eyebrow missing!!! and the worst part is that when I showed the lady that did them, she said it was like that when I came in. That was bs and I had a picture from 2 days before that showed two full eyebrows. She then charged me full price. I, being an idiot, didn't even argue it and paid. But as I walked out I just couldn't let it go so I walked back in showed my usual lady and I could tell she looked concerned. She started speaking to the other woman in their native language and I couldn't understand what was going on and my usual person said "oh it looks like there is some light hairs there". I'm very disappointed and angry. At least own up to the fact that you screwed up. I don't know if I will go back and just stick with my usual person but as of right now, I don't think so. I've gone here a couple of times and I honestly couldn't recommend it more. They're super quick and do a really good job. I'm terrible at doing my own eyebrows because they're naturally really straight, but they give my eyebrows a shape while still leaving plenty of hair. The only place I trust with my eyebrows. I've been coming here for the past 2 years so this review is long overdue. I would rather have my eyebrows grow out than go somewhere else because these ladies know what they're doing. I tend to cry very easily and my skin is easily irritated which is why I switched from waxing to threading, but here I'm always made to feel comfortable. I definitely recommend trying to get in during the week because of course weekends are busier, but they will still get you in in a timely matter. Don't hesitate to try a facial! Usually this is my go to eyebrow place. After today I will NEVER go back. My daughter and I walked in to have our eyebrows threaded, and started checking in. The lady at the front desk noticed my daughter had the Groupon app open on her phone and informed us they no longer accept Groupon... Um, what?!? I checked our voucher and it was still valid. It was for the specific location where we were. How can you stop accepting something that I've already paid for?? I understand no longer offering them in the future, but refusing to accept a valid Groupon, purchased prior to that decision, is absolute bullshit! The lady at the counter said we could still pay for services. Uh no. We already did that. We walked straight out the door. Why would I re-pay for a service I've already pre-paid?! This is extremely unprofessional. I can't believe they would even think it was acceptable to no longer honor Groupons THEY chose to offer for purchase. This cost them 2 regular customers. We'll never go back. I'll find a business who honors their own prices, instead. BTW- calling a grown woman "honey" with a condescending attitude isn't great business practice.
