The lady who was going to do my brows her name was Kalpana, I believe. She listened carefully then she called over an expert, Srijana, to ask how best to fix the shape and give me the look I wanted. Srijana gave her some tips, and the result was perfect! My eyebrows turned out thick, clean, and exactly how I wanted. They even left a couple of small spots untouched so the hair can grow in, and they can shape it better next time. There were people waiting over 45 minutes even on a weekday, which shows how popular they are. They offer lots of other services too, but so far I've only tried threading and I can definitely say this is going to be my go-to spot once a month!

Over time, EWC has gotten more corporate and less customer-focused... it reflects in the way waxing…read moretechniques have changed, how the quality and experience of the estheticians has gone down, the the flexibility of any employee (from managers to front desk staff to technicians) to provide customer solutions over sheer profit, and more. I've had to change waxers over and over again because the estheticians are constantly leaving. First, I have to work hard with the actual service providers to build a relationship over several months to get my services "right." In the 15 min appts it is hard to express the exact brow shape you're looking for, in example. Or, sometimes the technique being used is unnecessarily painful compared to another provider I'd worked with prior. Then, after 6 months it's finally right and then the technician leaves, and the cycle begins again. Plus, EWC is constantly selling to you. "Buy a wax pass" or "try this product." I can't tell you how many worthless unused EWC products I have sitting under my sink that aren't effective, or how many times I wish I had never purchased a wax pass... so I wouldn't be locked in to coming back here when it just keeps getting worse. I don't recommend EWC. Here, or at any other location (by the way, there is no manager here, and they canceled an appt once bc the opener missed her alarm clock, and both of my waxers left bc this whole location is a hot mess)! It's time for me to move onto better, more clientele-focused businesses... even if it leaves my money on the table with the wax pass I was stupid enough to purchase. Like, I would literally rather lose my money than come back here. I hope someone reads this and it helps them pick a better option!
