I've been coming to mirror image for yearsssss! Pratiksha is excellent at her craft! I haven't found anyone who is as quick and precise as she is! She's in a studio Solon setting right her the front of the building, sometimes you man run into a wait but it's only about 5/10 minutes but majority of the time there no wait and your in and out in 5 / minutes. Pratiksha listens to what you want and she delivers EVERYTIME she cares about her client's satisfaction and adjusts accordingly! She's magic! She's gentle on your face, and she takes pride in work. She has her own suite, so you're not in a busy place with a big waiting room. Her working space is very clean and neat. Found this threading salon by mere coincidence (my hair salon is located in the same building) & stoked I now have a threading place to call home. Pratiksha was a professional whom took my cues & gave me the end result I needed and wanted. I told her all I wanted to do was clean up my brows and did not want them any thinner. Upon zooming into my eyebrows, not one hair more was removed to make them any thinner than what I had walked in with. Her work was beautiful and I will be coming back! Pratiksha wore her mask the entire time & I felt entirely safe being in such close proximity. She only allows one person in at a time, so even though the place is not that big it definitely feels comfortable for you & the technician. I'm used to paying less (paid $19 for eyebrows & upper lip) but you get what you pay for here, and I am quite content. read more

This review is after 1 visit. I felt compelled to review due to pandemic considerations + service. I have not gotten my eyebrows threaded in months. Due to the pandemic I've been cautious to stay away from close contact with others. Looked for a new threading place and liked the shop's Yelp reviews. Y'all did not disappoint! I am very, very happy with my brows. I told her that I just wanted a clean up (am continuing to grow then out, didn't want them thin). They look so pre pandemic and nicely shaped. She also gave me a tip on shaping with my brows pencil. Another plus is the cleaniness. The shop is located within the...I guess I'll call it Sola Salon center (reminds me of little mall). As soon as you walk in the mall you see that masks are required and there are several hand sanitizers. In your shop, owner is wearing a mask, hand sanitizer and other safety/cleaning supplies are in sight. So, it made me feel relaxed and safe. I would recommend and will be returning. read more

After bouncing around and trying several brow threading business in Austin for the past year, I am so glad to have found this threading parlor! It's a small studio inside the Sola Salons complex. The brow artist is a sweet woman who is patient and talented. My first visit didn't provide the best first impression, as I arrived 10 minutes after opening, and she wasn't there. I waited another 5 minutes and just before I gave up, she arrived. She seems somewhat flustered and rushed, but did an overall good job as far as shaping. When I went home, I did find some areas that were missed and had to touch up myself, which I was upset about. Today, I gave her another chance (I always give two since you never know what somebody was going through). I'm happy to say the experience was much better. She took her time and I was pleased with the results. No stray hairs left this time. I've given this place 3 tries due to the good reviews and how nice the lady was, but I have to say how disappointed I am! Every single time, I've asked for "cleaning up, not too thin" and EVERY time, I have gotten my eyebrows threaded too much, too thin, and uneven! The last time I went was the absolute last straw. I hadn't had my eyebrows done in a long time (in an attempt to grown them out) and asked for her to "even them out" and I would say she ripped off at least 1/2 of my eyebrows in thickness. And they weren't even. Before doing so, it would've been nice to at least have gotten a warning that she would have to go to extreme measures to even them out, but instead I was left with half of my eyebrows. I was visibly upset when she gave me the mirror, and she instead blamed it on me instead of taking steps prior to ask exactly what I was looking for. She offered to not take payment seeing my distress, but I don't believe I will be giving this place a 4th try to mess up my face. read more

Great service, price and location. Pratiksha was very kind, efficient, and did a great job on my brow cleanup. Her little shop inside sola is cute, clean, and private. You have to call ahead for an appointment, and call for her to let you in to her salon, which is actually really nice compared to threading shops where you are crammed in a tiny space waiting in line to get service. I made a same-day appointment for 2:30pm on a Saturday, and got there at 2pm and she was able to accommodate me early, which was a delighter. Will be back! read more

Update: I'm not sure what has been happening recently but I've come by 3 times in the last 2 weeks to find Pratishka gone during her advertised hours. She leaves a sign to call on the door, however, when running a business you should be present during advertised hours. It is not only inconsiderate if your customers time but unprofessional. It's a shame because she is a lovely person and good at what she does, but if I can't rely on her to be at her place of business when she says she will be none of that matters. I decided to give this place a try after reading the amazing reviews on here. I really loved how my eyebrows came out and I'm very picky with my eyebrows! I told her I've been growing my eyebrows for a long time and wanted to get them cleaned and kept thick not thin. She did just that and I was very happy with the outcome. My eyebrows are clean, even, arched very beautifully and thick. I learned that the phone number on here does not work! Please make sure to ask her for her direct contact number while messaging her to schedule your appointment. The place is kinda hard to find as it is a shop inside Sola Salons. The main entrance doors are locked and you're not allowed to wait in the hallways due to the recent pandemic, so she has to come out to get you. (I would have appreciated if she would have communicated this to me) As many of you know, it's pretty hot in Texas, so it would kinda suck to have to wait outside until she replies to your message, or is done assisting another customer at the time of your scheduled appointment. Luckily, someone was stepping out as I was walking in. She seemed kinda flustered but was courteous. She also wore a mask and the place was very clean and well kept which I appreciate. read more

I moved to Austin a year ago and still haven't found my go-to eyebrow spot. I was excited to try this place out because she has great reviews on here but was sadly very disappointed. I asked her to keep them long and square and not too thin, just a clean up. They ended up way thinner than I've ever had my eyebrows before. I normally have pretty thick dark eyebrows. Maybe I should have specifically used the wording "keep them thick", instead of "not too thin". I probably won't be coming back, and will continue my search for an eyebrow place after a couple months of growing my brows back. Update: I woke up this morning and still can't believe half my eyebrows are missing. I wish I never stepped foot in that place and never got them done in the first place. Pratiksha's shop is very clean and she wore a mask which I appreciated. She seemed nice but a little stressed because she said she was busy... Could have been a tad bit friendlier. Pricing is on the average side. I liked the way my eyebrows turned out and the process was almost pain free definitely not like the suffering I've endured with my old threader the last 6 years.
