Highly recommend Kelly and her Brazilian Knot method, especially for anyone with fine or thinning…read morehair who thinks extensions might not be possible for them. I had been wanting to get hair extensions for a long time. In the past, I had K-tips and wefts installed, but when I found Kelly and learned about her Brazilian Knot method, I was immediately intrigued. I have very thin hair due to both genetics and previous cancer treatments, and I loved that her technique allows for small, individualized sections. I scheduled a consultation with Kelly, feeling nervous and honestly wondering if extensions would even be an option for me. From the moment we met, I could tell that Kelly truly cares about her clients and is committed to giving honest, professional advice. She could have easily booked my installation appointment as soon as I said I was interested, but instead, she encouraged me to go home and think about it because she wanted me to understand that it's a commitment. After giving it some thought, my answer was still a definite yes! The installation appointment was such a fun experience. Kelly made the process look effortless, but I know it takes incredible skill and precision to meticulously hand-tie every single knot. As she worked, I was amazed that I couldn't feel any weight on my hair at all. She mentioned that I might notice it the next day. As she moved toward the sides of my hair, I thought for sure I'd feel some tension since my hair is very thin on my crown and sides, but even then, everything felt light and comfortable. Another thing that really impressed me is that Kelly ethically sources her hair. The quality is incredible, and because of that, the extensions blend seamlessly with my natural hair. I know I have extensions in, but I can't even tell they're there when I look in the mirror. It truly looks and feels like my own hair. I also have to mention how beautiful and clean Kelly's studio is. The space is so welcoming and professional, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable and relaxing. I'm writing this review 3 days after my appointment, and I am honestly shocked by how comfortable these extensions are. I slept comfortably all night and still don't feel any weight or tension in my hair. Kelly's application method is truly incredible, and I've already booked my move-up appointment. Kelly, thank you for being so caring, kind, and genuine. In an industry where that can be hard to find, you stand out. You've given me a confidence boost that I never thought I would be able to have again. I can't wait to see you in six weeks!

Today I went in for a threading and she was able to fit me in for an hour long hydrating facial as well. It was such a lovely treat to splurge on my skin after threading. Very hydrating for my skin and very relaxing. I'd recommend going for the full hour hydrating facial. You won't get that level of service anywhere else for the price. In my opinion, her facial is just as good as any spa and it's a fraction of the cost. Her room is always clean, professional and she did a great job. If this review were based on skill alone, she'd get five stars hands down. But for the part that makes me write an update and removes me from giving her 5 stars: Jamila cannot stop upselling. Every visit turns into a small negotiation. She'll pitch you every service and skin treatment under the sun even after you've politely declined, most times twice or three times before giving up. She doesn't take a hint, verbal or otherwise. She also tends to "forget" returning clients when it's time to charge. The first-time brow price is $15, and the upkeep price is $13. But if you don't remind her that you are a RETURNING CUSTOMER, she'll happily start from scratch on what you owe her. I shouldn't have to keep track of my own loyalty discount, but here we are. The many times I've visited, to pretend like she doesn't remember me is annoying. Get punch cards or SOMETHING so you'll stop doing this to customers. To be fair, she's not mean-spirited...she's just a relentless hustler. I get it, we're all trying to survive. But there's a fine line between being ambitious and making your clients feel like walking wallets. Your work is good enough to speak for itself. You don't need to chase every dollar. Let your service do the talking. Let clients come to YOU with their needs instead of you pushing off onto them what they should have. No one should feel obligated to pay for services they simply do not want and you pointing out flaws is not the answer. Sorry. Until I find someone as talented (and a little less pushy), I'll keep coming back... but girl, please, just do the work requested and let customers breathe. Four stars.

She's created a really relaxing atmosphere in the space she works in with a comfortable bed and soothing music. She did such an amazing job on my natural volume extensions - they felt SO light (I was worried they would feel too heavy) and they looked really good!
