They do a good job with your nails. Staff is pleasant and easy to speak to and everyone greets you politely even if they are busy. We managed to get walk in spots on a busy Saturday afternoon and although I felt like my pedicure was a bit rushed, the service provider did a nice job with painting my nails and even suggesting a complimentary color. Came here for a fresh set since I was long overdue! My usual go-to salons for Russian manicures were booked out, so I found Queen Spa after a quick online search. Online it said they offer Russian manicures, so I specified that request at the front. I also reserved a slot for a pedicure (all of this done online). They were definitely efficient because while I was getting my pedicure done, another tech brought all his equipment to my chair and got to work! The cuticle work was definitely Russian style, but the drilling was on the edgier side, and I felt a little bit of pain when the cuticle work was being done. It wasn't too painful though and there wasn't blood, so I trusted the tech lol. I opted for shorter nails and a cream white color, and since I finally tried sticker nail art with my last set, I opted for sticker nail art with this set as well. I think I will still try to go to my tried-and-true nail salons in the future (I mean, they offer cappuccinos so how can I not?), but this place is certainly a good back-up! read more

Took my daughter and mom here for mani and pedi! Enjoyed mimosas and friendly conversations with our techs. My mom use to own a nail shop so has discerning opinions on quality of work. This is the first place I've taken her where she gave her seal of approval and was 100% satisfied. I showed my nail tech a picture of a nail color and she custom layered two different colored polishes together to achieve what I wanted. Impressive! read more

This is the second time Alice has done my pedicure and left the skin around my toes raw/bleeding from how rough she was with filing/buffing... TJ did my manicure and it was very rushed. I've been going here for mani-pedis for 8 months now and have always enjoyed it/ received quality nails and service but this time was absolutely awful. I will never be coming back again. The guy that was working on my fingernails had no idea what he was doing and covered me in dust, dropped the UV light on my shins and didn't apologize/acted like nothing happened, then dropped the color choices keychain and other items on me and didn't acknowledge it. He also completely messed up my nail design by putting on the wrong color ( red) and when I asked him to correct it he told me they would have to charge me extra for what I wanted (black-to-red ombre with snowflakes on it) which he had previously agreed to doing for the standard nail-design price. He was also chatting with four girls the ENTIRE time. They all stood around me and sat on both sides of me laughing and hitting each other and talking so loud in Vietnamese (2 hours straight as I was getting a mani pedi) . It was super annoying and loud and completely unprofessional. I was not relaxed. When I asked the guy doing my nails what they were talking about he said they were planning to all get wasted tonight. Again, unprofessional. Since they wouldn't do the original design I requested , I asked if they'd do just white French tips on the ends of the red nails instead. He agreed and got one of the girls he was chatting with to finish the job for him and she was so aggressive! She obviously was rushing and kept shoving my hand into the UV light thing/ yanking my hand towards her. When I checked the tips and asked her to correct a couple things she literally rolled her eyes and loudly sighed and yanked my hand back while continuing to speak to the other girls in Vietnamese. There was a bunch of red nail polish left around my nails at the end and when she finished the french tips she proceeded to AGGRESSIVELY USE A NAIL FILE ON MY SKIN TO TRY AND SCRAPE THE NAIL POLISH OFF. Ouch I told her to just stop and just got up and paid and left. I'm so disappointed never again. read more

Friendly? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely not. Came with my mom and sister for my little sister's birthday because the place looked cute and had plenty of chairs. Pedicure? $70 for no acrylic gel on my big toes (even though I asked), uneven polish, and barely any massage, plus the tech made me stop my massage chair so she could paint my nails. Never had to do this for other salons. Light mode was turned on before she could do my toes.. Lip waxing? $15 for the worst I've ever had. A staff member who "doesn't normally do it" volunteered, and now my lip is swollen, red, covered in little pimples on my third day, and so sore I can't even swim. If this isn't better by tomorrow, I'm off to urgent care. Lastly the staff were laying on beds in some waxing rooms just playing on phone and all.. Sure, it's friendly. But I left with imperfect toes and a face that looks like it lost a fight. read more

Best dip nails in Austin! I've been to a lot of different nail salons in the area and Queen Spa is the best. Great color selection, including chrome nails, and reasonable prices, too. River and the whole staff are always friendly and efficient; I've never had to wait too long here no matter what kind of service I'm getting. I was in town for the day, and found them on Yelp.. I would give them 100 stars if I could, Dolin was AMAZING! This was the first shop I've been to where all the staff spoke English, and no one was whispering under their breath in a different language to one another. I really appreciate that. Dolin did her thing in reviving my toes, and she was funny! I love the color choice, I showed a picture from Pinterest of what I wanted and she made it happen! She even made sure the tips glowed!!! had a really great experience w adore nail lounge! went in for a builder gel refill & really happy…read morewith the shape and apex of my nails. i didn't get the name of the nail tech but she was a bit older, and she did absolutely amazing with the design. i love how close the shade match is (compared to my natural nail) for the nude base color she chose, since that was something that was important to me. love the stars she free handed and the gems she arranged. total was $100 excluding tip which i think is great value. also want to mention that we came in at 6:30, and the nail tech stayed past their closing time to finish the design and do it really meticulously if half stars are possible, i might give 4.5 because i also booked a lash lift and when i got there, they told me their lash tech is on vacation for a month. i was just visiting the area so idk if this is common or something, but i'm used to the service always being available if it's able to be booked online/confirmed via text following an online booking (which both services were), so was a little bit disappointed by that.

He was a little rough to the touch as times with my pedi. The pulling and moving my feet & toes quickly and/ or forcing them down from time to time was uncomfortable. I didn't say anything but looked at him. The manicure wasn't done completely. He massaged my forearm but missed my hands. I asked if he was going to massage my hands, he looked at me and said yes, but no massage to my hand was performed. I looked around at other customers and their hands were massaged a little after their forearm. Their tech had them wash their hands afterwards. Ken had me wash my hands right after my forearm. He polished my nails and said thank you. He placed a fan in front of my hands but didn't say how long I needed to stay in front of the fan. Normally im told 2 mins etc...I touched my nails after 3 mins and turned off the fan. When I checked out I did let the lady know it wasn't a good experience for me this time. She inquired, I told her Ken didn't ask me if I wanted any water etc..as I watch other customer receive sodas & waters. The lady replied, oh really he normally does. I replied he didn't. I said I didn't appreciate all the pulling / tugging as well as him placing the fan in front of me and not saying how long I needed to dry my nails. The receptionist excuse for Ken's behavior was he doesn't speak English which I thought was bananas. I still have a small tip, but asked that he not be assigned to me again. She agreed in doing so. I thought about my experience on my way home. A mani/ pedi is not cheap. If I can't enjoy it and relax I'd rather not return nor refer any more friends to their shop. I'm disappointed. R. Chambers
