This place is truly a hidden gem when it comes to nail salons. I had an outstanding pedicure, and my nail technician, Moon, did an absolutely amazing job. She was attentive, thorough, and made the entire experience relaxing and enjoyable. The salon is very clean, welcoming, and professional. My only complaint was that it was extremely hot inside when I first arrived. However, when I mentioned that the temperature was uncomfortable, the staff immediately lowered the air conditioning. I booked my appointment about a week in advance and spoke with the manager, Kaitlyn, explaining that I had my wedding that weekend and wanted my nails to look their best. I specifically asked who she recommended, and she told me Maria would be the best choice, so I booked an appointment with Maria. On the day of my appointment, I called to let them know I would be arriving about 30 minutes early and asked whether Maria would be ready for me. I was then told that Maria would not be there at all that day and that there was no one available to do my nails. What is particularly frustrating is that no one from the salon had reached out to let me know that my appointment had effectively been canceled. I asked to speak with the manager, only to be told that she was not there either. She called me back and offered to come in herself to do my nails. At the time, I appreciated that gesture and thought she was going above and beyond to make things right. During the appointment, Kaitlyn asked whether she could use the drill on my nails. I specifically said no because my natural nails are already thin, and I asked her to simply buff them instead. Despite that, Kaitlyn proceeded to excessively file my nails, not only shortening them significantly (which I had not wanted), but also filing down the thickness of my natural nails. When the manicure was finished, my nails initially looked good, although they were considerably shorter than I wanted. Kaitlyn then told me that she had not done nails in approximately 10 years--I'm not sure why this was the offered solution when I had articulated to her I have my wedding and wanted my nails their very best. I paid $50 for this gel manicure. Within just three days, multiple nails began splitting in half vertically and now, not only the polish, but also my natural nails are visibly damaged. I have never experienced my nails splitting vertically like this in my life. Three of my nails are now damaged in this way I believe because they were filed so thin. The damage will remain until the nails completely grow out. The gel also did not appear to be applied in a way that provided sufficient thickness or protection--every time I've had gel before it's been a thicker coat. Ultimately, this experience was extremely disappointing. The management and communication were poor from the beginning, and the manicure not only failed to last but caused significant damage to my natural nails. This was especially upsetting because I had specifically communicated that I had my wedding that weekend and wanted my nails to look great. The attached picture was taken just four days after the manicure. I have never had this problem with my nails before, and now three of my natural nails are splitting vertically and damaged as a result of this manicure. It makes me angry I wasted $50 on this and now my natural nails are damaged. read more

I came all the way from Round Rock to use a gift card. It was really hard to communicate what I wanted and I couldn't seem to get help from anyone despite being vocal. I asked for random polkadots (and showed pictures multiple times) and got 3 rows of 3 on each nail. I asked for advice on color and was never advised. I left very upset that I spent so much money to treat myself as a single mom and now I'll have nails I don't like for weeks! Pedicure was great but I wish that's all I got! I left a tip despite leaving very unhappy. Last time I came in to try to use my gift card I waited 20 minutes without help until I asked how long the wait was and was told an hour and a half. Her dip manicures last the longest of anywhere else I've tried. And she thankfully doesn't do gel on top bc I think that makes the top layer peel which I hate and I dislike the black light. However, the service itself wasn't relaxing they wanted to do both my fill and my pedicure at the same time to save time and wouldn't let me turn the pedicure chair on so that I could relax. They were really sweet but the service was lacking. The person at the register ran my card three times because he kept messing up and locked me out of my card because of the security that I have on my card. He wouldn't listen when I said don't run it again you're doing it wrong. When I asked the pedicure tech to not cut the sides of my toes, he said OK and then started doing it anyways. read more

Zero stars if possible. I came in today on early Thursday afternoon with a friend to get a pedicure. We both sat down at the same time. From the get go my nail tech did not make me feel very welcome and was skipping steps in the $70 pedicure I asked for. She also wrapped steaming hot towels around my legs without waving them out first. When she started the massage she did not start a timer or show me the timer like my friends nail tech did. During my massage she loaded me up with lotion and FELL ASLEEP!! Many many times this woman nodded off while giving me a pedicure. I've been done for over 15 minutes and my friend is still getting her pedicure! We asked for the same and sat down at the same time with waiting nail techs. I'm so disappointed. Austin Regalia is my go-to neighborhood spot to get my nails done. For years, I've been able to count on reliable, efficient and friendly service, and a job well done. Recently, I left feeling that my hand and toe color weren't matching (it may have been something with the bottle formulation, or the fact that my hands were gel), but my hands skewed more coral while my toes were a true red. I came back a few days later and they were very accommodating about getting it fixed up, taking care of me right away and getting my nails to match. Not sure what's going on... I've been here many times and the level of service has always been great but it's declined. I showed up on a Tuesday evening at 5:20 and sat down at a station at 5:30, no one gave me an estimated help time so I waited. I waited an hour (6:30) until someone helped me and had the most rushed experience. Granted, I didn't have an appointment -- I heard "we have a lot of people on vacation, ooo, etc..." I understand that, but at least tell me it's going to be a wait so I can leave and return. I watched 5 people walk in (4/5 didn't have an appointment either) and get helped before my hour of waiting was over. My best friend and I have been coming here for awhile she really likes Amy and I usually go to Lily. DONT let "kimmy" do your nails she gave me one of the worst nail experiences I've had in awhile. When she first came to the chair I smiled and said hi and she just rolled her eyes at me and kept pulling my hand like there wasn't a body attached to it and flicking my fingers away. When I asked if she could do another layer of the dip because you could still see my nail she kept giving me attitude about it and forgot to do the design I asked for and tried to say I didn't tell her even though I showed her a picture of exactly what I wanted. Update/Edit: This place rules! I've gotten gel, SNS nails, and regular pedicures here for years. Gel last two weeks, the SNS last several weeks, and the pedicure last for a month. They do excellent and efficient work, never have to wait, and everyone is friendly. They even offer a complimentary beverage like a mimosa, wine, or iced coffee. It's also a massive establishment with brand-new massage chairs. It feels spotless as well. I also appreciate that the staff always offers extra services or upgrades, like an extended massage or nail art. They pamper the guest. I have been in search of a nail salon near my work and home. I decided to take a chance and stop in. First impressions, the salon itself is very clean and uncluttered. There is at least one empty chair between customers. There are plexiglass dividers at the manicure tables and in the pedicure rooms. Everyone is wearing a mask and customers are asked to wash their hands upon entry. So far I have had 2 gel manicures and one pedicure. My experience has been positive. There are a ton of gel colors to choose from. My nails still looked good after two weeks and my toes even longer. I highly recommend Olivia. She has done great job. I found Austin Venetian Nails and Spa on Yelp prior to traveling there. Location wise, it's next to Hobby Lobby. Don't trust the GPS! The interior is pretty and clean. The stations where you get your nails done are also clean! The service was great! They offered us a complimentary drink (water, red wine, white wine, mimosa, etcetera), which was a nice start. I wanted a SNS black french manicure - this was a difficult ask as you're dealing with powder and it's hard to maintain the lines. Regardless, Tammy did a great job! She also painted the silver line I wanted underneath the black of my French. Her attention to detail was much appreciated! I made my first appointment with Regalia after 5 weeks of letting my sns nails grow out. I booked ahead with Maria for a full set and then had Dan for a pedicure. I kid you not when I say I received the BEST service I've ever gotten at a nail salon. Maria took my Instagram inspiration and gave me my favorite manicure ever. She walked me through the process, continuously checked in to make sure I was happy and even brought me a mimosa when she found out it was my birthday weekend! I waited two weeks after getting this manicure to post the review and after many swim sessions and a few nights out my nails are still impeccable. My pedicure was also just as fantastic thanks to Dan and his excellent craftsmanship. He was thorough, kind and gave me an incredible foot/leg massage.
