I was really disappointed with this location because it was nothing like the original Houston location I'm used to. The atmosphere was completely different. At the original salon, the experience feels welcoming and relaxed, but here it felt like staff were constantly policing customers. I couldn't even watch a quiet Instagram video on my phone without someone coming over multiple times to say it was too loud, even though it could barely be heard. The service also didn't match the price. I paid $100 for basic, short French tips, and the polish chipped the very next day. For that price, I expected much better quality and durability. Another noticeable difference was the hospitality. The original location is generous and makes customers feel comfortable, while this one limits drinks and doesn't create the same enjoyable experience. If you've been to the other Milano locations, just know this one is a very different culture and dynamic. I wouldn't return. I'm really disappointed with my experience here, especially considering the price I paid. For the cost, I expected much better quality and overall value. Unfortunately, three of my nails broke within a week and a half of getting them done. That's far sooner than they should be breaking after a professional service, especially at this price point. What was even more frustrating was that when I reached out about the issue, I was told they don't cover chips or cracks and that it would be $8 per nail to fix them. When nails are breaking that quickly, it feels unreasonable to have to pay additional fees just to repair something that should have lasted much longer. I also received a pedicure during the same visit, and it felt very subpar for what I paid. The service felt rushed and didn't reflect the level of care or detail you would expect when paying premium prices. When you're spending this much on nails and a pedicure, you expect the results to last and the overall experience to feel worth it. Unfortunately, the durability and the quality of the service just didn't meet those expectations. I had been a repeat customer here and previously had positive experiences. During my most recent appointment a new Gel-X set was applied without fully removing the previous product underneath. The technician applied the wrong length which I told him I did not want to go forward with, but when applying the new set, he never removed the previous product. The nails began lifting and curving upward the same day. When trying to speak with the manager and the technician, I had an unpleasant experience. After contacting the salon, the owner reviewed their footage and acknowledged the nails were not completely removed. I requested a refund for the nail service so I could have them redone elsewhere, but was told refunds are not offered and was instead asked to return for another service. I am not requesting a refund for my pedicure, only the nail set. I am documenting my experience for accuracy and transparency. I honestly was hoping for a better experience with this place given its high rating and a few people recommending me to this place but the fact my nails couldn't even last ten days without chipping it ridiculous. I had already came in on the seventh day with both index fingers chipped and then on the tenth two others did the same. I'm only opening up water bottles and cabinets?? It's not like I use my hands for everything at work, I'm mostly on a computer. I paid 70$ for French tips with pink hues on my natural nails! I think that's a bit overpriced but I like the work and wanted to celebrate my birthday with a nice self care trip. The vibe in the place is super nice and the customer service is great. But this tech got noticeably upset and frustrated with me. It made the whole appointment awkward and not a good experience. I don't anyone who liked to sit and get nails done for an hour while someone had an angry attitude the whole time, despite how good the work is. They always go a good job with my nails and I haven't bled or felt pain (like with previous nail experiences elsewhere). Service is also really good. You get two complimentary drinks and I feel taken care of. I always get dip nowadays because it strengthens my nails. My dip with chrome manicure only took 1 hour and 30 minutes, which I think is fast! Make a reservation if you want a 10 day warranty for nails chipping, etc. they also take walk-ins. There's a points system. The last time I went, I got $10 off If you want a design, you can just tell them when you're there. I didn't take pics of the interior last time but trust me, their interior is gorgeous! Lots of decorations and mini hot air balloons on the ceiling for the pedicure side. read more

The first time was great everything went smoothly and I was obsessed with my nails, lots of compliments. They did the set right there where I was getting my pedicure. However, the set was not to my liking and I ended up having to come back to have them fixed. They're brittle and sensitive. Facilities are beautiful and everyone is very nice but they're very tough on your nails and cuticles, left bleeding literally all three times. Last month I really wanted a pedicure to celebrate my birthday. We were going to a grape stomp and I wanted my toes to look cute! I researched and found Milano Nail Spa. It is so pretty inside, and it's HUGE! You will not have trouble getting reservations to sit with your friends. They have a long list of different, indulgent pedicures to pick from with accompanying massages. The spa is sparkling clean and their tools come out of surgically safe disinfected packaging. The selection of nail colors is huge, but you won't have to hunt through a wall of colors, they bring a basket of the color samples to your chair and you can browse while you have a glass of wine. I also love that they set a timer for the massage portion of your treatment so you can be assured you will get your full time. I loved the experience so much, I had to get another pedicure last week! Paid over $200 for a basic gel mani and gel pedi. I've been here multiple times and they always say they prefer cash but have accepted card. This time they said their "machine was down" so I could only use cash or Cashapp, and I told them I had neither of those things. Then their machine was magically "fixed" upon me saying that. However they added a new $5 credit card service fee that they mentioned was new. I never had paid that previously. Typically CC fees are a percentage, not a flat fee. It got worse when I left to my event out of town and the morning of my friend's wedding my gel nail extension broke off. This was within 24 hours of the visit, and I had no time to fix it before the wedding. So a few days later I went back and PAID for them to fix my nail. Then in the next 3-4 days I had 4-5 nails break off. At that point I just soaked my nails in acetone. Apparently paying over $100 for a mani isn't enough for them to last more than a week.
