I came here for the first time 2 weeks ago for an SNS manicure and my nails chipped only 3 days later. She didn't put enough dip powder on so it didn't have any strength. And she ground my natural nail down to almost nothing so the nail underneath the powder was so brittle and fragile when it chipped off. Great customer service and experience every time I go to Pamper Nails! Location is easy to find, parking is plentiful being next to a HEB. Kimberly is my favorite tech, but I've yet to find one I had a bad experience with. Their space is large and there's rarely any wait at all, even for walk-in's. I'm visiting my sister and decided to tag along and get a pedicure with her. First this place cost more than my shop and I'm not getting anything extra. Second, the language barrier could be why I have such a shoddy pedicure but I feel like there are certain things that should be standard. We started at water that was way too hot and then the water was made cold and we ended up somewhere that it was meh. I explained I was diabetic and please don't cut me and don't use the cheese grater on my feet. This hence caused the first issue. They thought I didn't want my toe nails cut and so another lady came by and I explained what I needed. I thought we were good but now she was almost scared to cut my nails. The lady at home cleans under my nails and the pocket where most people get ingrown toe nails, I got none of that. I had to go back and as her to clean under my nail and cut them shorter. The skin on the side of my toe wasn't cut down, as she was getting ready to paint I noticed my nail looked gritty however the other lady said it's due to my nail (umm so y'all don't buff the nail then?). I can't say that this was a great nor good pedicure. From the front of my toe you can see unpolished nail and my heels are dry (I came home and actually had to apply lotion because they are rough). I feel like I will be hanging my head and going to see my regular lady back home and letting her know that I cheated on her cause this is not a good pedicure. Went on Thursday to have my nails done, no acrylic just wanted a gel manicure with French tips , I went swimming on Saturday and by the end of the day Saturday nails were chipped and some were peeled off. Went back Tuesday to get them fixed and I was charged again even though it was their gel polish that peeled off. Be ware that you will be charged for fixing your nails. read more

There are a variety of pedicure options; I chose the most luxurious option because it was my first pedicure since the beginning of the pandemic. I expected it to hurt: my last salon always hurt me ( they didn't survive the pandemic). This was pampering from beginning to end, with a warm shoulder towel, lots of relaxing foot and ankle massage and a choice of hot rocks or hot wax (I went with the wax. AMAZEMENT!). My sister gets her nails done here regularly. I prefer to go to a shop further away because I'm always satisfied with the service and my mani/pedi. I decided to save some time and gas and go to Pamper. There was only one customer at a pedi chair so it wasn't busy at all. I check in and request a regular pedicure and SNS nail service. I've been getting SNS nails done for over 3 years, I know the drill. I was pressured into getting a nail design 3 times and pressured into getting nail tips added twice. I know my nails are short but it's never an issue at my usual spot. My pedicure was okay, standard but I walked out with lots of polish on my skin. My SNS nails look like something a 12 year old would do. She was using an LED or Solar light to cure the final coat, that's never been a part of my standard SNS application before. I've got jagged nail tips, excess top coat polish build up in the ridges, and the tops of my nails are lumpy. And that's after Inspoke up and asked her to smooth out some areas before applying the top coat. I'm beyond frustrated having paid $98 in total. I'll likely be headed to my regular spot with a week or so because I don't see this nail job being bearable for much longer. I gave them 2 stars because they are polite, I got a soda while I was being attended, and the pedicure was livable. Maybe because my sister is a regular she has good results, but I've learned my lesson to never stop here again. read more

I really want to like this place since it's walking distance from my home and have given them way too many chances but the amount of disappointing visits have outweighed the good. Pros: the staff are nice, the prices are good, and the environment is calm. Cons: They file your nails AFTER curing the gel, which is a huge no no. I've had a few gel manicures from Pamper that have chipped early because of that. On my last visit, I got a gel manicure that chipped a few days into my honeymoon. Not to mention the times they've used their own nails to scrape polish off my finger instead of using a tool. The one and only time I got chrome nails, the tech got polish on my fingers and claimed it would come off after a wash but it didn't. He also did an awful job around the cuticles, which were jagged looking, and didn't apply enough chrome so I had black outlines on silver nails. There's also been too many times where I've had to ask them to fix a crooked file job or to make the length consistent. And finally, the thing that has made me squirm every time is when the techs don't rinse nail dust from their hands and apply lotion to my arms for a massage. It's really gross. I won't be coming back unless they make some changes to the quality of their services. read more

I went to this nails salon for 3 years until i decided to stop going. Customer service is great. Actual nails, not so much. I get acrylics and each time i would get cut which led me to think i had weak cuticles but that wasn't the case. They also will get lazy with how they do nails depending on the time of day you get there. Sometimes i would leave with some of my nails completely different shapes than others. the thing that set me over the edge was they shaved my nail beds down so much it burned me. She told me she'll do SNS/dip powder on me instead because it's better for your nails. I was skeptical at first but the end result is exactly what I wanted! The lady doing my nails was very nice. The only reason I give this salon four stars is because it was a very long wait. I was sitting in a chair for 20-30 minutes before they started on my nails. Pamper nails is my go to salon. I would describe this spot as an affordable, no frills salon with great service. It was pretty busy when I went during lunch time on a Friday afternoon, so they did my pedicure first and then moved me to the manicurist afterward. My whole appointment took about 2.5 hours which was much longer than I was expecting. In general, my manicure is not what I was expecting. It is glittery and bright pink when I thought I was getting a chrome manicure. It is also bulbous on some nails which makes it look fake. The manicurist also cut up my fingers. I would have asked him to fix this but it has already been 2.5 hours and I didn't have any more time. I'm only taking one star off because I've come here many times and always been happy with my experience so I'm hoping this was just an off day. Maybe just avoid chrome here. read more

I've been going to Pamper nails for several years now and I really love how my nails turn out. I usually get SNS (pictures) and have also gotten acrylic on my nails and get on my toes. I am very pleased with all services and make it a point to come back. The pictures are nails done by Crystal and I can't wait to start getting more designs. I recommend going during the day because after 5pm is usually the busiest. Even during busy times the staff will still get you in or at least started. Call and schedule an appointment to skip waiting time. Get some designs by Crystal if you're feeling extra fancy! I needed a manicure urgently as I broke 2 nails in the Xmas commotion. I saw the reviews for Crystal and decided to give her a try. She was very patient and took her time with me. My dip nails turned out beautifully. Thank you Crystal! The only downside to this place is it doesn't seem 100% clean. The tools aren't sanitized, I think they use the same tools on every client. She only used a nail clipper and cuticle nipper (she didn't really cut my cuticles off) on me as I didn't need them cut off. I would absolutely go there again for my dip nail manicure! read more

Ladies ladies ladies, do NOT come here if you're looking for acrylic set. PLEASE hear my warning, as this is my second time coming... The first time was in october and it was horrible. I remembered sitting in the chair for 3 whole hours thinking this is ridiculous. I left with uneven nail length and uneven gel coating. I was under the impression the only redeeming quality was the nail shape. However, looking back at pictures of the set i got my first visit I was reminded how much it was just as bad as the set i got two days ago. I say this with my whole chest, I utterly REGRET wasting another 3 hours of my life rotting away on the inside in their chair. I came in and showed them the photo of the design i wanted not once did anyone mention this will be a $5 charger extra if you want that. On the price sheet I saw $32 for gel acrylic, nowhere did i see "almond is a special shape" these nails for sure aren't LONG and should not be $72 for this self esteem lowering set. I sat in that chair for three hours wanting to cry. The moment i knew i shouldn't have stepped inside was when she cut the acrylic nail too short in the beginning and i asked her to redo all of them and she made them even shorter than the time before. These look absolutely nothing like the first photo i showed her. After i asked her to redo them and got a shorter nail i had kept mentioning that i didn't like it i wasn't ok with how short it was and my cries kept getting ignored by the nail tech she ended up rushing through the next step which was the "clear hardening" part (apologies for not knowing my stuff) which made the nail tip and my nail one and after she finished i had asked her if she could make my middle finger nails longer at least since they were shorter than my index finger nail and she looked at me and said no with such an unwarranted attitude. If you're looking for a place that doesn't care for their work or the happiness of their customers please go ahead and go with pamper nails. The nail tech doing my nails progressively got more and more frustrated during the process and i just wish she would have handed me off to someone else instead of taking her anger out on my nails. After asking her politely to redo the length bc i am a paying for this service and plan on tipping you for any way you feel inconvenienced She seemed very aggressive and uncaring about what i wanted and what made me happy. I haven't treated myself to nails since the last time i came here and for them to charge me $72 dollars for this set i hated and had such an awful experience sitting and watching her do me like this.. I walked out in tears feeling so wronged and i just felt there was no reason for her to do such a terrible job unless she is actually no good at her job. My nail tech this time was the same lady that wronged me the first time i came and giving her a second chance was a mistake i utterly regret. The service was below one star and i asked for an itemized receipt and she gave me so many extra charges such as "special shape" she charged me a $5 design on every nail. I just wish that in this type of business they would move with professionalism such as letting your paying customers in on what kind of charges you'll be giving them so that they may decide if that's something they would still be interested in. Pamper nails left me feeling like i was outed for wanting a "difficult design", in which i wish i would have gotten up and left with the way she didn't care for her craft. Pamper nails has shown me nothing but unprofessionalism and disrespect. Ladies ladies ladies please do yourself a favor and keep looking. This is not your place. Came in for a pedicure and was taken right back, which was nice. I got the spa pedicure and was pretty disappointed. Young pedicure-ist gave minimal service. Attention to callouses and dead skin on feet was minimal and massage was just a lackadaisical skin rub with no effort to actually massage. I know this sounds like petty white lady gripes but I don't come for a pedicure for the toe color. I come to get all of the gross dead skin removed and a decent calf and foot massage. All I wanted was a french manicure & my tips are uneven... the nail tech didn't even look at my fingers to make sure they were symmetrical she just slapped white polish on my tips & used acetone to try & make the french tip shape but each nail was a different thickness & I had to mention something twice & by the third time she was tired of me I could tell... then one of my french tips was uneven so they took the drill & fixed it but it left a scratch on my nail & they didn't apply another coat of gel after that also she hardly filed my nails into a neat shape some were uneven. read more

Everyone seemed nice, but I didn't really interact with anyone but my nail tech. Also, I mentioned that I was a new customer when I signed in. And their yelp page says new customers receive 10% off their first visit. But I still paid full price. I have mixed reviews for the experience with my nail tech. She was very friendly, and spent a good amount of time on the foot/calf massage. But, she was too aggressive while cleaning up my toenails/cuticles. At the time, I noticed it but toughed it out for some reason. Now tonight my big toe hurts badly. She definitely cut my left toe too short. And the polish is ok but she didn't paint all the way down to the cuticle. So now my polish will need to be changed sooner. There are too many good nail salons in this town for me to happily return. The only reason I would consider returning is if I don't have time to go to one of my 2 favs in town (this place is in my neighborhood). read more

I was really excited to try this place after reading reviews, but I left disappointed. I came in for an SNS set. I was not offered a drink. I got the tips of my nails cut down to go from almond to coffin shaped. My technician (don't know her name, she didn't introduce herself) quickly clipped each nail shorter, which took about 12 seconds. I later learned at check out that they nickel and dime you for this: an extra $5 for "special shape". The color swatch I picked was a very light neutral that contrasted well with my skintone. When the application was finished, I was really bummed to see that the color didn't match the swatch I had picked at all. It was transparent, like a french manicure almost. Really boring and not at all what I wanted. I was obviously disappointed that I hadn't received the color I picked out - I always spend a fair amount of time picking the perfect one. I asked if we could do a gel top coat to correct the color - something that I've done at two other salons, free of charge, when the SNS powder didn't match the swatch. She told me this would be an extra ten dollars. Everyone was looking at me and I was about to cry because the color was not what I wanted at all, so I left it. It was her fault for not getting the color right, though - she should have done a base coat, or more layers. It was a beautiful, skillfully done manicure, but if you are picky about your color, the technicians here dont care about getting it right. She did not give me any cuticle oil at the end. SNS applications aren't considered manicures, but every other place I've been too at least squirts some oil on your afterwards. There was a woman sitting next to me waiting awhile for a manicure. She told my technician she was going to come back later because she was short on time, but the technician told her "only five more minutes." She stayed, and ten minutes later, someone started her manicure. I felt bad for her. When I was given my total at checkout, I asked if that included the 20% off all services discount advertised on Yelp. The woman laughed at me and said the promotion ended 3 months ago and didn't give me a discount. :( read more
